I walked in and asked for a gel-x fill in and pedicure. The person at the desk confirmed they do gel-x and I went to the chair for a pedicure. About half way through the pedicure a woman walks up to tell me they don't have my current nail polish color and asks me if I got my nails done here. I got them done in Atlanta. She then says they do one fill in and no subsequent refills. She told me I would have to get them taken off and get a new set. My flabbers were ghasted. I politely declined. Obviously if I had known this when I came would've gotten both services elsewhere. I commented to the same young lady when I was leaving the salon that it would've been helpful to know this when I came in. She was combative and u professional and stated more gals information about gelx i kindly paid the ridiculously high price for the pedicure and tipped the pedicures since none of this had anything to do with her. Walked in on a Wednesday evening to get a manicure. I waited about a half hour, before being serviced-I didn't have an appointment and it was busy. I liked the finish on my gel manicure however the tech cut my cuticles too short. I added a paraffin soak to help soften my fingers after all the acetone soaking I went back that Saturday and got the milK and honey pedicure. My only complaint was that my massage with my pedicure was very rushed. There are so many steps to the spa pedicure, they should consider adding an additional 10 mins to get the massage portion done. read more

Well, my search for a decent nail salon in Douglasville continues. This was a nightmare. The girl who did my pedicure (Pao) did a passable job, and at least was gentle. However, I saw her clean the clippers by spraying with alcohol and putting them back in the bag. No sterilizing here, folks. The first person to do my gel manicure (an older man) was just awful. Not only did he cut/shape the nails wonky (see photo), the polish was a mess and he kept cleaning up the edges WITH HIS OWN UNGLOVED FINGERNAIL. Tracey finished the job (had to start all over again). She also took care of my ingrown (Pao admitted Tracey would be better at that; I appreciated her honesty). It is also pricey -- $53 for regular pedicure and hell-i-mean-gel manicure. This experience was horrible to say the least. I made an appointment for 1pm this afternoon. When I arrived, I was told that the nail tech was working on another customer, and that she should be done around 1:20pm. When 1:20pm came and went, the nail tech was still working on said customer. Another 20 minutes or so went by, and I went up to the receptionist and asked what time the tech would be done, as I have to be at work at 2:30pm. She looked at me with a nonchalant attitude and asked if I would like to reschedule my appointment. Mind you this was after someone else had come in after me, and was able to receive their services right away. I told the receptionist no and walked out. I originally asked for clear tip and narrow square when they applied it I told them I cannot tell that it is a clear tip and if I'm paying $5 extra I wanna be able to see it and they told me it would be visible when they were done (which it still wasn't). My appointment was at 2:45 and I was still there at 5:00 getting them done .I had to leave To get my child so I came back the next day they said had to pay again to fix them with only 15% off . Beware.... our friend just told us today when we were discussing our experience about our visit yesterday that they possibly caught a foot fungal infection in their last visit to Signature..!! Good things happen to good people. Set an appointment at 12:30 pm... overbooked. Re-set appointment at 6:30 pm. Overbooked again. Didn't even acknowledge the issue. No wait and they sat me right away. I was met by Tracy who would keep conversation but wouldn't be too intrusive. She gave me one of the best gel manicures I've ever had in my life. Great experience! I walked in without an appointment and was helped immediately. My feet and hands look and feel amazing. There were 14 massage pedicure chairs! I went here with my daughters. Very nice place. Great customer service. I like that they offer a kids pedicure that is reasonable. Tools are autoclaved which is a very nice plus. We were seated right away but had to wait a little while for the pedis to start. That was fine with us it gave us more soaking time and we were checked on to see if we needed the water warmed.
