Allure Nails used to be my go to salon, but after my recent visit, I can honestly say I will not be returning. The nail tech was extremely rough while working on my cuticles, to the point where several of my nails actually started bleeding. I tried to be patient, but I found myself pulling my hands back multiple times saying ouch. I should have spoken up more, but at that point I just wanted it to be over. The young lady who did my toes was very pleasant and sweet, but unfortunately she was also too rough. She pulled at the cuticle on my big toe so hard that it bled for several minutes. I'm not sure why I pushed through the appointment, but I was pressed for time and had an event later that evening, so leaving wasn't really an option. To make matters worse, the nail tech also filed my nails down way too short. Overall, this experience was painful and disappointing, and sadly it will be my last visit to Allure Nails. My nails are already chipping and look awful. read more

The service was so terrible and they talk to you so disrespectfully. I got there at 5. I didn't leave until after 9. I was literally in tears because they treated me so wrong. The lady doing my nails messed them up by applying pink acrylic on top of my white acrylic then painted them the color I chose but since she put the pink it made my nails look horrible so I asked her to take the color off. She did then told me I had to wait for someone else to finish my nails. After that I had to wait to get a pedicure and everyone kept saying they couldn't do my pedicure and to come back tomorrow. I said no. So I had to wait hours to get a pedicure. The lady keep telling me how she wanted to do my toes and not listening to a word I said. The owner even left. This location just went downhill. I will not be returning at all. I asked for builder gel and he left my nails looking like square gums. I originally came in with almond shape... it's that bad. They are not experienced at all with builder gel at ALL. I'm pretty sure the gel was so old because it was burning so bad every time my fingers went inside the UV light. The lady who started filing my nails literally broke one of how hard she was going. I had to bring it up that she should be more gentle when removing the top coat. Two people were touching my nails. They had to file and drill down so bad after the builder gel was placed because it was sooo thick. I was in that chair for a long time. All of that for $77 is insane. read more

I have had multiple issues with Laura specifically. She did my first set when I started coming here a few months ago and the nails broke within a week. They fixed this for free. I have been coming regularly since then and typically spend $120+tips for a full set or fill and a pedicure. I wanted my tips removed and SNS polish in my last visit. The man (I believe Ken) removed my tips with a nail instead of soaking them off which I told him was VERY painful. This also damaged my nails. Laura polished them and again, they did not even last a week. She claims they looked like this because my nails are "thin" (from her coworker literally ripping them apart from the acrylics) and I "wasn't careful with them." When I asked her what this meant she claimed I was doing a lot of "tapping" which obviously makes absolutely no sense. She and the other workers were very rude and hostile as soon as I said I wanted my money refunded. They refused and claimed I could get TWO of the four damaged nails fixed or get a new set for $30. The new set should have been FREE. Laura did the new set and they very obviously talked about me in Vietnamese right in front of me. The old lady with glasses also openly mocked another customer with the other workers. I will never give them another dime and suggest you spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

The only reason I am giving it one star is because I cannot give it none. As I type this, my fingers are sore and the polish is poorly applied. I am not sure how it is possible to mess up a simple manicure and gel polish with zero designs, but here we are. I would have simply walked away and not patronize the establishment again but for the extremely poor service and lack of consideration I received. I refused to go here for years after the owner at the time/nail tech ripped my real nail off, made me bleed, and proceeded to shove my bleeding finger into a bowl of acetone. I have never had a more terrible nail experience. And I certainly have never had a nail tech that made me want to cry before. The entire thing from start to finish, she made it very apparent that she was rushed to be done with me. And that could possibly be because I didn't opt for an entirely new full set instead of a fill and I said no I just want the fill ? Not totally sure but - from that moment she was just done and she made me feel absolutely terrible. Carelessly throwing random tools - like tossing them back into her bag. Her entire body language was that she did not care about the customer. I also asked for an oval shape and she asked if I wanted them shorter, so she then completely removed the shape. My nails are so so short now and I did not want them completely shortened. I feel like I was completely taken advantage of and very very sad for others that could have possibly ever experienced this same thing. My nails are also completely non uniform. This was a simple, clear acrylic with an oval shape. I unfortunately do not know the techs name. But from how I was made to feel, I more than likely will not be revisiting and would absolutely not recommend. Pretty facility. But looks aren't everything. read more

I spent over $100 on a gel manicure and super deluxe gel pedicure. My finger nails are chipping and it's only 6 days afterwards. My pedicure was performed by an older man and was very rushed. You can notice when corners are being cut. He accidentally burned my leg with a hot stone, to the point of me yelling out loud. So I was looking for a new place to get my nails done. I live in Douglasville but I've always gotten my nails done else where because I could find a shop I loved. So I gave the shop a try. When I went it wasn't very busy maybe three people in front of me. They didn't have any nail colors upfront for me to look at and then SNS and that's not what I was getting. Then the lady who was at the front table I'm going to assume she's the shop manager/owner asked me if I knew what color I want it. And I told her all that was up there was the SNS. So she brought me some other templates to look at. So my nails were already done all I was getting was a fill-in. I sit in the ladies chair she really didn't talk to me very much. Other than asking me what color I wanted for my nails. I told her and she proceeded to do my fill-in. I was actually debating on getting a design on my nails but was a little annoyed that she didn't even ask me if I wanted to design she didn't talk to me ask me my name nothing. So I just decided to go with a single color. No extra because I wasn't getting any kind of personalize service anyway. She did a good job and even complemented the color that I picked out and said it was pretty. She took me out front to check me out and just stuck her hand out for my card. I asked her can you tell me how much it is. And she said oh XYZ amount. As I was sign in my car I said and by the way what's your name. She said oh I'm Jenny. Have you ever been here before and I said no. But if she would've had some kind of conversation with me while she was doing my nails she would've known that I was a first time client. So all in all I will say the actual getting my nails done was OK but just the level of service as far as talking to your client things of that nature was not great. And I could tail a lot of the time they were talking about other customers inside the shop. I say that she was probably the shop manager or owner because every time something was going on she was jumping up to go check on somebody else's nails that were being done by another person or directing somebody and she just wasn't focused on me. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! If I could give zero stars I would. I went to get a SNS dip and a pedicure. When she was removing my current acrylic...she was moving too fast and was very distracted and sliced my finger with the drill. There was zero sense of urgency...in fact she tried to hide the blood with a towel so no one would see. They didn't have a first aid kit or anything to help and none of the workers seemed to care at all. Owner of the shop would rather PEEL the old acrylic nails off of my nail bed, of course hurting me rather than provide me with the service that I originally asked for which was a soak off. DO NOT COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ANY NAIL SERVICES. EVER!!! The manager and his staff have no professional skills. My full set was RUSHED at a pedicure chair and the results were PISS POOR. The manicurist kept insisting that the ombre would smoothen with layers of top coat and the final product was extremely patchy. I trusted her throughout her process for this to be the result and I politely let her know that it needed to be corrected. She got defensive and claimed that it was me who couldn't see the quality of her work. I even told them I would sacrifice my time for them to fix my nails. The manager told me to "SHUT UP" SEVERAL times and tried force me out WITHOUT MY SHOES. They also did not properly remove the nails from my hand as requested (pictured above). If I could leave a 0, I would. Nail tech lacked so much knowledge and the "manager" was completely unprofessional. I am never one to complain in this way, however my husband purchased a $100 gift card as a gift to me for Valentine's Day. I was so excited to get my nails done as it had been since before Christmas when they were last done. I explained to the nail tech over and over again that the coating on my nails was not acrylic, but a sculpting gel - even went as far as googling to show him an image. After trying to grind and then pry the topping off with a fake nail, he completing broke my real nail off. I quickly told him that that was not what I wanted and I wanted to keep my real nails, he says "oh..." and comes back with the solution to soak off acrylic. At this point, it is obvious that he does not know what he is doing, and fearful of what else could happen, I decide that I am just going to leave. The "manager" comes over and I explain the situation, stating that my husband mistakenly bought the gift card under the impression that they were affiliated with Allure Nails in Hiram, but they most definitely are not. This gift card was purchased TWO days ago, and I still have possession of the receipt, however they REFUSE to give me my number back. I have tried to call and text the "owner's" number which was given to me by the "manager" and have received no response. The first time I got my nails done here by a lady and it was not great. She did not fix any lumps in the nails. But then I went back and I got them done by Tranh and I really like the way she did my nails. They weren't bulky, chunky or lumpy. They were smooth and thin with a nice shape. absolutely terrible. i went there two days ago and got acrylics and with gel polish and i was supposed to get a pedicure. the nails were for homecoming. i get called up and i tell my nail tech leo i think his name was the exact colors i wanted and when he went to go get them he had very different colors. i let him know again what colors i wanted and he said i was wrong and refused to get the colors. white cutting my tips i asked for a tiny bit shorter and he laughed and cut them a lot shorter, when i told him that's not what i wanted he laughed and said too late. all my nails are different lengths. on top of that another customer came in and walked straight up to my nail tech because she apparently had an appointment with him and he started getting snarky with me and the nail tech laughed and said it was my fault for wanting my nails done. she stood over while i was getting my nails done for about 20 minutes just staring at me. during this time my nail tech was filing my nails to the point to where the bottom part of my finger was bleeding and he said that my skin was just weak. he started painting my nails and he said he didn't like them and laughed. he then changed the nails and the colors even though i told him not to and he just didn't listen and laughed again. at this point i've been at the salon for about two and a half hours. he told me he didn't like my nails. then he used two uv lights and told me to go wash my hands but i told him my nails were still wet and he said they weren't even though i showed him. he also put glitter on my nails and when i said i didn't want glitter he just painted over the glitter. he also didn't drill the underneath of my nail. at this point i was going to have 30 minutes to get ready for homecoming and i decided to not get my toes done. i told the front desk about what happened and they said too bad. i left the salon with uneven, lumpy nails which got chipped as soon as i got in the car because they were still wet. my nails are super thick, all different lengths. and just flat out ugly. one nail is even glued on terribly. some nails are even coming up. don't go here it's terrible here. read more

Overall great experience! Only issue was I made an appointment for 11am but was not seen until 11:40am. Pedicure was amazing, service was excellent.
