First off I came here and went straight to the lead of the salon and asked how long was the wait. She then proceeds to tell me I'm next because I don't need a pedicure. Secondly, she lies and then puts another women in front of me without apologizing or talking to me about it. And then attempts to put another until I said something to her. I came in for a simple full set with French tip which is a classic and she messed it all the way up TWICE. She then proceeds to tell me I want paint under my nail when I tell her under and front are two different things. It was missing paint in the front of my nails! She tried to fix them and messes them up more. It looks TERRIBLE!!! They are fat, uneven, lumpy, and colored terrible, not at ALL what I wanted, also rough. If I could give it zero stars I definitely would. I came in at around 1:45 and told them I was there for a pedicure and i sat down and proceeded to wait. 15 mins go by and then 20 go by and another woman comes in for a manicure. So she tries to leave after awhile and is stopped by the owner and gets serviced . Meanwhile I'm still waiting . Eventually the lady tells me to sit in one of the chairs and at this point I assume I'm about to get my toes done. I'm waiting for ANOTHER 20-25 minutes and then I get irritated because no one was friendly or even really acknowledged that I was waiting for so long so I immediately got up and walked out. The business is understaffed and slow. You'd do better going to Top Nail by Kroger. I walked in and got serviced 5 minutes later. SMDH. Never going to this shit hole ever again! read more

My first time here. I'm a walk in and waited 15 minutes before Mike attended to my nails. There were 3 people working on customers including Mike. Friendly Nails was clean, not to warm -just right for the weather and large enough to not become to crowded. My Solar overlay pink only fill-in was reasonably priced so that a tight budget could tip. I would recommend this nail salon to a friend. My old regular salon changed how the Solar nails are done and the product chips off my nails, so I'm looking for a new regular salon. I'll return to this salon in two weeks for a full set. Then maybe this will be my regular salon. read more

Not so friendly after all! I came into the shop at 6:40( along with another young lady.) A gentleman,who I assumed was the owner, asked me to sit down at desk 4. After asking me what I wanted I told him that I can take him ripping off my nails manually because I'm anemic and my nails are very tender. The not so gentle gentleman told me that he leaves at 7:00 and won't wait 30 minutes for my two nails to soak off. Assuming it would take longer than that for my gel fill-in I requested, I thought it was very rude to state that. If you're not able to do my nails I could've waited for someone else. I offered to do my pedicure while my nails soaked off. He replied in a very sassy way " She can do your nail, not me!" Needless to say all of Wellstar Douglas will know about this experience. Friendly Nails is my go to place for pedicures. They are one of very few that still uses the razor on my feet. I hate when sounds use the cheese grater. There are two older women that does a great job no matter when you go. I have found that they are reasonably priced compared to others for the services they offer. The pedicures usually come with a scoop of sea salt while others charge extra for it. The foot massage is great longer then most. I find that others also may charge for an exfoliating scrub in their "deluxe" package while it's included her. They also finish it off with a nice warm lotion rubbed into your legs and feet. So for pedicures I would give them 5 star. I have them 3 because for acrylics I wouldn't waste my time. I have tried both the men and the women and both do a pretty shitty job. I mean it's ok I guess for your typical Asian shot but I have found that they never can get the shape right. I usually like almond and even coffin. I may have some that aren't even. The acrylic is too thick and not evenly distributed. So I wouldn't recommend for nails. This last time my procure was mediocre due to a new chick not really having her died down pack and while I did appreciate her taking her time I spent 3 hours just for a pedicure and overlay. Also I got gel on my toes because White polish usually chips after a few days. After my toes were cured the owners daughter just slapped cuticle oil on my nails and left it. So my slides were oily as hellWas charged $15 for gel polish and the pedicure is only like $22 so yeah those numbers don't even add up to me but hey. Overall yes to the pedicure not fit the young chick tho. And no for nails. read more

I was in desperate need to get my nails done and came across this place on the way home. Its located in a small shopping center that's far away from the street hidden behind a Walgreens, liquor store, and Sonic's. There was no problem getting a gel manicure. What's better is how they use LED lights for the gel manicure instead of the UV light for drying like other place which is bad if you use it a lot. The only downside is time, they can slow at times and there's a small staff so waits can be long. I avoid that problem by coming in during daytime weekdays. Saturdays are not a good idea unless you're there right when they first open. They're closed on Mondays. read more

Friendly Nails off Thorton Road is NOT friendly at all. After years of getting pedicures, I've NEVER been cut! While getting a pedicure with a novice nail technician, she cut my foot and tried to cover it up. My foot started bleeding and stinging and I had to force her to stop and not but any other chemicals on my foot. My main concern was that my the cut on my foot does NOT get infected. I found this place and saw that there were few customers in the shop. I decided to give them a try. It took over an hour to do a pedicure and I was ready to go considering I am 6 months pregnant. The lady was extremely slow and even nicked me a few times. The 2nd and final time that I came, I decided to try them because I didn't want to drive to Cobb and figured I try a new lady (they all can't be bad) but my experience was still not good. She finished in 35 minutes which was good but the shape of my nails was poor and the I had to tell her to add a 2nd coat of paint. Just not the idea place. read more

My husband and I went to Friendly Nails today and I was blown away by their service! My husband had a great pedicure by Nina and Lisa did a fill-in on my acrylics. I had a repair on one of my nails and instead of putting a tip on she placed a form and sculpted a nail. Who does that anymore?! And she did it perfectly! I got a pedicure and a fill here. The pedicure was beautiful. The lady that did it did a great job but then I got to get my fill in. I knew something was wrong when he drilled it and I should've stopped there. My nails were all different shapes and I wanted square and he gave me rounded even after I kept telling him to make them square. I kept stopping him to tell him what I wanted and he kept making mistakes. I will never go back to him. read more

Ok I decided to stop by Friendly Nails again to see if I could get in and get out. I drove by when I left church and saw that they open at 12 on Sunday so I returned about 11:52 to find they were already open with four customers inside. Three being serviced one waiting up front. My daughter and I walk in now making a total of six customers. They have two people who only do nails and two who only do pedicures. The techs are still moving slow as usual. I see nothing has changed at this establishment but my daughter noticed the prices have increased. The pedicures are now $20. What am I paying that price for. Surely not for service. Needless to say we walked out. Then the owner says you leaving we"almost" ready for you. It's now 12:17 I am down the street at Get Nailed Salon and my feet are already soaking in warm water. No waiting. They have eleven nails techs working today and always completely staffed. Bye bye UNFRIENDLY Nails. read more

If I could give 1/2 a star, I would. I came in for a mani/pedi which I thought was reasonably priced at $27 (additional $3 for french tips). These women BUTCHERED my finger nails. I said I wanted a round tip, yet she put the scissors on my nail, turned it inwards and cut these horribly shaped jagged edges that look terrible. While I was getting my pedicure, another woman came over and started my manicure while I was still in the chair. There was minimal cuticle care and she did not shape them well at all. She also did the scary jagged cut and preceded to file one of my nails down so far it barely exists. When she finally did the white paint on my manicure, the thickness of the white was so big and uneven, I'm confident a 5 year old could have done a better job. Finally, I got to enjoy that lovely feeling of your skin sticking to the bottom of your nail, because the paint went underneath the nails that she didn't completely destroy by filing down to nothing. When I tried to explain it to her, she told me that that was my skin and tried to do another hackjob to my skin/nails. I encourage you to NEVER visit this establishment.
