The wait wasn't too horrific for them to be as busy. Some of the employees were welcoming, and some were just not. I actually debated leaving because I didn't feel comfortable. However, I believe he was the manager, stepped in and provided me with an update, reassured me with an update on the status of being provided a service, so I decided to stay.    The guy that provided the service for my nails was moving fast. A callus scrub is an extra, which is a bit bizarre to me because I thought that was always a part of a pedicure. I got gel on my toes. I was only shown one color ring and asked if they had additional color options. Another young lady brought me about two more rings, so I chose amongst those options.    My nails were not shaped properly, and they were really thick. I'm not one to complain at the nail shop because of the complicated process, so I said to myself, "They were good enough for me to get out of there." They didn't look bad, but they didn't look great.    The most disappointing part of the experience was after I left in my slides. I returned home looked down and the gel was peeling up! I was mad. I am not going to lie. I did call and message them on Facebook, and they told me to come back up and speak with the manager, but I never got another opportunity to do so between working and being a mom. Also, shortly after that, my nails started to peel up, so I just let it go, moved on, and returned to a previous place.    If it was an emergency, this place would probably be my second or third option. Once again, not terrible but not great, especially for the price.

I am disappointment regarding my experience at the salon on Friday, August 28. I left work early…read morespecifically so that I could come to the salon because I had a very tight schedule. I was working my second job at 5:30 PM that day and also had to work Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday through Wednesday, because I was preparing to leave for a trip on Thursday, September 3. I specifically requested Tyson because I wanted him to do my fill-in, and I explained when I arrived that I also needed a polish change on my toes. When I arrived, Tyson was finishing up with another client, so I understood that I would need to wait briefly. I was told that my feet would be done first, which was perfectly fine, and I expected Tyson to be available by the time my polish change was finished. However, while I was getting my feet done, I noticed that Tyson brought another client back and began servicing them. Once my feet were finished, I was then told that I would need to wait. I asked Tyson how much longer he would be, and he told me approximately 30-40 minutes. At that point, I had to leave because waiting that long would have caused me to be late for work. What was most disappointing to me was that I had specifically requested Tyson and had made it clear that I was on a time constraint. If he was already finishing with a client when I arrived, I completely understand having to wait for him. However, once he finished with that client, I feel that I should have been next since I had already requested him and was waiting for him. If he wanted to take another client instead, I feel that the appropriate thing would have been to communicate that with me and ask whether I was willing and able to wait. Tyson asked me if I was okay because at this point, I'm visibly upset, I explained that I was not because I felt the situation was inconsiderate and unprofessional. I had gone out of my way to leave work early and squeeze this appointment in between two jobs, only to find out that I would have to wait another 30-40 minutes. He suggested for me to return later or the next day on Saturday. I explained if that was an option I would have done that from the beginning. Taking another client to ask me to come back later or another day is crazy. Additionally, I was not completely satisfied with my feet. I had to ask for the polish to be changed during the service, and overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the experience. Because of the way the appointment was handled and because I was not satisfied with the service I received, I did not feel that I should have been charged for the service. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time and appointment were not valued. I hope management will take my concerns seriously and review what happened so that situations like this can be handled better in the future.
