My friend and I called at 2:45 asking if they had time to do two acrylic full sets with designs, because we saw they closed at 5:00. They said yes and we got there at 3:00. One nail tech started on my nails, and told me he didn't know how to do nail designs at all so I would have to wait, which I said was fine. The one person who could do nail designs in the building took three hours to do my friend's nails, still didn't finish them, and was complaining about how it was going to take so long for him to do both of our nails, and how if we wanted to get dinner we should leave before the place we wanted to eat closed. When we left it was 6:45, almost two hours after closing. He had only finished one of her hands. She didn't even ask for anything difficult, just a few flowers and some gold accents. She had to leave with an incomplete set, and I left with just polish when i told them that we both wanted designs. They charged us both $85, so with tip we ended up paying $110 each for incomplete nails. I wish they would have been honest when we called about not having the time or the skills to complete the hat we wanted, but NEVER in my life have I seen anyone take three and a half hours to finish one hand. AMAZING!!!! Tina is the best! I came in for a pedicure and a full set. The shaping on my pedicure was off and the staff immediately fixed it. They brought refreshments and adjusted the pedicure chair to give the most relaxing experience. Then Tina took me to her station, helping me choose the right length to fit my preference (short) and make my almond shape look good and not chunky. She took her time shaping and fixing every nail, paying extra attention and making sure i was satisfied. She treated me like an old friend & has earned my business for good. This was a hard one, because I have been following my girl Crystal around different salons for over two years. She gets a 5 Star rating! However the salon itself is older and not as aesthetically pleasing as others I have been to. The other staff were nice, and I'm sure give great service. The massage chair was good. The location isn't my favorite. I will still be faithful to my nail tech, but the salon itself is not my favorite. If you try this spot, I highly recommend Crystal. I attempted to get my nails done on a Thursday , however they are by appointment Monday-Thursday so I was told to come back Friday morning when they open @ 10am. Right at opening I had two people in front of me so I didn't get seated until around 11:30ish. I showed him a picture of what I wanted but made some adjustments to the style. I start with 5 stars and take off for things I don't like. Here I got what I expected and was pleased with the outcome so no points off. Basic atmosphere where they get the job done. Very courteous and kind and very satisfied with our pedicures. No wait when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Honestly unimpressed, so over priced for the most basic nails. They baby talk you while you're paying which is weird because the manager always has an attitude. It's like they try to soften the blow when they quoted one price before starting and ending with almost double, they up charge you for everything little thing and don't tell you until it's time to pay. The amount of times I've asked for square nails I still end up with coffin which is so annoying cause I have to constantly repeat myself over and over to make sure they're doing square! They sway the customers with a $5 discount to leave a 5 star review, I would caution anyone coming here to do more than a normal mani/pedi. And it just looks ghetto. I went here twice to get my nails done. After that I was done. Getting a set of nails took almost two hours for one. Two they used pink acrylic powder, which I didn't ask for and I was charged more. Then of course the second time, for my fill, it was more money as well. My skin was cut a few times from the man talking and not paying attention. I never saw them open any new or clean equipment, just everything from a drawer and then thrown back in. The husband and wife were both very friendly, but I just felt they didn't really pay attention much. I would not recommend going to this nail salon. read more

They're under new leadership now and the talent for Christine the manager is amazing. But she fills up fast and doesn't work as often as everyone else. There's also a lack of professionalism. You shouldn't talk about clients with other clients and especially by name, even if frustrated. They do better when you have an appointment but they still will put people they deem fit ahead of you. I always get my nails done here. It's about 4 miles away from me in Lexington. I have acrylic nails so I go once every 2 or 3 weeks to get a fill. Nothing fancy, just a color change and sometimes a chaps change, it costs me around $25 with tip included. I have had all different nail techs and none of them disappoint. They have an awesome selection of colors. Their english is great too! I have yet to complain about anything! read more

I feel the salon needs to be cleaner. Technicians don't wash hands or change equipment in between customers. Same equipment being used with each customer. Same files. They were grabbing out of a drawer so you can't tell if it's been clean or Dirty. Very Dirty tables, not cleaned in between customers with bits of left over nails that weren't mine. Did not clean my nails before applying set, so set went on dirty hands. Cut my skin a few times. Wait time was long. The employees were extremely nice and friendly. They need more employees, and have to make time to clean up. That should be number one on your list. Won't return because of the cleanliness. read more

The owner was very impatient with my 3 year old granddaughter. When I asked her to just speak kindly, she raised her voice and said this was just how her generation talks. A nice day out turned into a nightmare. The other technicians were very friendly. The owner said she was from Atlanta and that is how people talk there. That was the most ridiculous statement I've heard. I happily tipped my tech and my daughters tech. The owner didn't get one cent for being so short tempered with my granddaughter. Went here A day before my birthday which was Nov 8th. Nails were ok. After a day or two, I noticed my cuticles were all jacked up. I never have problems with my cuticles. That's not the issue here. The issue is that my nails started to lift about 2 days ago. It's only been a little less than two weeks. Do acrylics usually do this? I'm used to getting acrylics and this never happens until the 3rd week(when a fill in is needed) I'm sure I won't be going back. read more

I just moved here from NJ where I had the same nail tech for 5 years and she did an amazing job. I was happy initially with my fill and gel polish until the next day when the polish came off 2 nails. Got it fixed then 3 days later it happened to 3 more nails. That never happened to me before. I can't be running back there every couple days. It should stay on for 2 weeks especially for what they charge. I also got a pedicure that I am happy with. I would definitely go back but just for pedicures. read more
