    my car was keyed while in the supervision of the "secure parking"

    BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE I stayed at the Milo Hotel in Santa Barbara on 10/31/17. My car was vandalized/keyed on all four doors while at the hotel's "secure parking". I was forwarded to Signature Parking as they are the company that does the valet for the hotel. The manager at the hotel, Rebecca, said the hotel would not be responsible and forwarded the claim to Signature. Of course Signature sent back a "boiler plate response that they were not responsible in any way." I will never ever use Signature Parking in any way shape or form. My stay at the Milo Hotel in Santa Barbara and indirect situation with Signature Parking will never happen again. This experience cost me an extra $1000 to get all four doors repainted.     We stayed at the Kimpton Canary in Santa Barbara over Labor Day weekend and were surprised to incur thousands of dollars in damage done to our brand new, 3-month-old leased car by the valet (Signature Parking). The valet attendant offered to store our luggage in the car for us upon checkout (we wanted to grab lunch nearby and were actually trying to leave our luggage at the front desk - I wish we had gone with our gut) and when we returned, he pulled our car around to a dark area off to the side of the garage, opened the trunk to show us that everything was there (while standing in front of the bumper) and made every effort to distract us from the large, deep scratch he made when loading (and presumably dropping) the luggage. We didn't see it until we arrived at our next destination in Paso Robles. The company refuses to take any responsibility despite our immediate, same-day follow up with photos and despite filing a "claim" with them...what a joke... If you stay at the Kimpton Canary, please consider alternatives to the $38 overnight valet parking fee and please, please load your own luggage into your vehicle. Signature Parking is not to be trusted.

Yesterday I was parked in a disabled parking space. It was not at this lot, but there a lot on the corner of Canon, Perdido and Anacapa. I had paid hours ago and was taking my lunch in my car. I had a quick appointment to go to and was coming back as I had paid for the whole day. as I was getting ready to leave one of the staff members came to my car window and started yelling at me about being parked in a disabled spot and "just because I have disabled plates doesn't mean I can just park wherever I want for free". He clearly insinuated that he felt I was lying about being disabled due to my age as he mentioned that he was 71 and also disabled. The conversation that he started was extremely aggressive and quite frankly scary for me. He stated from the beginning that the app he uses to check to see if people have paid is unreliable, and he hadn't completely finished checking to see if I had paid, but he still decided to stop and yell at me before finishing his job. So, this man decided to ignore his professional responsibilities and start an extremely intense verbal argument with a woman whom he almost accused of lying about being disabled and I had to ask him on more than one occasion to check my license plate like he said he could or two at least look at my receipt and bank statement to see that I had paid. He ignored and yell at me. Finally my license plate and saw that I had paid. His demeanor completely changed and all sunshine and rainbows after that. It was extremely distressing for me. I called and left a message saying that I had an extremely upsetting and disturbing interaction with one of their staff members and needed to speak to somebody about it and have not heard back. Based on what I've heard from other people, I don't think I will be getting a call back. I understand that we all have jobs to do. But there is never any reason to walk up to a customer and start screaming at them. it is also completely inappropriate of accusing a customer of doing something wrong before you have done your due diligence and made sure that they actually didn't do what you're saying they didn't do. And I don't think that it is unfair to ask that men acknowledge that there's a lot of guys out there who can get aggressive with women. It is even more distressing to have a strange man yelling at you as a woman. Additionally, anybody can become disabled at any age. And he's strongly insinuated that I was not disabled because I am on the younger side. I have never had an interaction with anybody like this before that did not end in violence. Thankfully, that did not happen this time. But my inability to get on the phone afterwards contributed to me feeling unsafe. I work incredibly high stress job and this interaction severely impacted me and I have been unable to reach anybody at the company to at least let them know what happened. I would strongly suggest finding somewhere else to park. I don't think what happened yesterday, at least I hope this isn't a regular occurrence. But he did tell me and I have heard from other people as well that the app you pay for parking is not very reliable and they don't always get the information saying that you had paid. Parking feels like a gamble. Even though it's more expensive, I would use the city lots or if you are able drive a few blocks away and find somewhere you can park for free. The convenience of their locations is not worth it. I don't even want to give them one star, but that's the lowest I can go.

They have a team of call center staff who pretend to direct your call to the appropriate department, but out of the 15 times I called, every single one went straight to voicemail. That should have been red flag #1. There were no questions or follow-ups from the company until I reached out the day before the event to confirm their arrival time. That was red flag #2 -- it felt like the company was more focused on getting paid than actually putting in the work or communicating professionally beforehand. Prior to the event, I clearly informed the valet company that this was a private residence in Beverly Hills and that the parking lot would be located on the property. I specifically urged them to bring an additional vehicle for their own transportation because the driveway is long and walking back and forth would be difficult. I also made sure to confirm everything with the manager, Art, beforehand, and he gave me a thumbs up indicating we were all set. Despite this, my concerns were ignored until the day of the event, when I was suddenly charged an extra $325 for allegedly not informing them in advance. I have text receipts documenting these conversations and was honestly baffled by the level of miscommunication, lack of accountability, and poor service throughout the entire process. They also repeatedly spam-called and emailed me, and even threatened legal action over the additional charge. What makes this even more unreasonable is that it was Mother's Day weekend and I was out of office at the time. The entire experience felt incredibly unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. For a company that never answers your calls when you actually need them, they suddenly became very responsive when it came time to demand additional payment. To make matters even worse, they began sending repeated payment requests via Venmo, even though I was never the designated payer. They appeared to have simply looked up my phone number and sent the requests directly. This felt intrusive and unprofessional, and definitely harassment.
