I…read morehave been battling what I thought was an upper respiratory infection and a cough that I just can't shake (a lot of that going around right now). I wanted to get on some antibiotics to knock it out before my big event next week. I easily made an appointment online and checked in via text when I got into the waiting area. Diane was just finishing up with another patient and saw me right away. She was very kind and knowledgeable, especially in regards to allergies. After completing her assessment, she properly diagnosed me with seasonal allergic rhinitis. Basically meaning what I have is not viral and I likely have seasonal allergies that need to be addressed. Because I am still breastfeeding, the types of medications I can take that are considered safe are very limited. Diane took all the necessary precautions and prescribed me 2 medications and nasal spray. I really appreciated all her insight and taking the time to thoroughly explain things to me. I also learned that taking an antihistamine while breastfeeding will actually dry up your milk. Glad I know that now. What's nice about going to a CVS Minute Clinic is that they send all your scripts right over to their pharmacy and they were ready in less than 10 minutes. I was in and out in under an hour with meds in hand.

It is a convenient location just east of the downtown Orlando area and being on the main road, it is easy enough to get to. There is a decent amount of parking and the staff is friendly enough. I scanned all of the items and all of the coupons. When I tried to check out the system glitched and called for the manager. She reset it and walked away to help another customer. It glitched again and would not accept any form of payment. I put my stuff back in the basket and left. I didn't get charged anything but I lost my coupons. I doubt Walgreens would do this to me. We'll find out.

In my shopping experience today, I saw on the checkout that what I was buying was part of a buy one get one half off. I quickly asked if I could add another of the same product to get the savings because I had not paid yet. Her response to me, quite simply "nope". So to go a bit further, are you sure? I haven't paid yet? No, I would have to void the order. So, CVS, if your staff cannot accommodate add ons, why do you show it in the checkout screen to irritate your customers? If so, it worked. If not, your staff could use some customer service training.
