This is a long overdue review for my breast augmentation w/ lift: I came from California to have a Breast Augmentation w/ Lift with Dr.Shah and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself! I absolutely LOVE my new breasts! Why didn't I pick a doctor in California? Well I do A TON of research on surgery & doctors and although there are good doctors in Cali, I really felt pulled to come to Dr.Shah, my intuition told me to do so and I followed it, I'm so glad I did. There wasn't a single thing that missed the mark during this entire experience from the first inquiry to my last follow-up appointment. They feel very natural, they are perky and full and perfect for my body type and size. One thing I'm still so happy about it I still hav sensation on my nipples. Loosing sensation is a possible risk you take with surgery and luckily I didn't loose any feeling. His staff was friendly, they were really patient and worked with me when I had a flight hiccup. Dr.Shah communicated everything I needed to know and checked on me. He really cares about his patients. Even the anesthesiologist was kind! Oh, I can't forget Nurse Jamila, she is an amazing nurse and her bedside manor and personality is just great, her name is perfect for who she is! I felt nervous but I was reassured and met with kindness and patience by everyone on the team. Overall Dr.Shah greatly improved the look of my breast. I love looking at myself and it has given me such a boost of confidence and I feel really sexy! read more

I had been going here for a while and really liked them until I had a facial that went completely wrong. I went in and told the facialist (it was a Tuesday )- I have headshot on Thursday and a wedding Saturday I just want to glow. I'm not an expert so I always do what they recommend. As she started applying the product on my face I said "ow ow ow !" It really started to burn and she said just think about how beautiful your skin is going to be after so I just kind of sat there. The next morning I woke up and my face was bright red, swollen with open sores , and looked insane. I had to call out sick from work. I went in and they looked at me and did a few calming things and the new esthetician I saw said something along the lines of "people pay a lot of money for that ". Indicating clearly the first woman had given me the wrong treatment. Needless to say I couldn't do my headshots and lost $500 and looked like an absolute psycho at my close friends wedding for all the photos. I was later told the first person who did my facial had been fired and was assured I'd get my money back. I never have even after calling multiple times. I'm 33 and desperately trying to take care of my skin and this set me back and their lack of empathy and refunding me is sick. My chin is still a different color. I've spent thousands at a new place fixing it. My new girl told me they completely burnt my skin and gave me a chemical peel. I had 360/bbl done and I was super nervous because this was going be my first cosmetic surgery. I went to different clinics for consultation. But this one made me feel super comfortable. The girls there are nice. Becca was super sweet to me from explaining everything, consent pictures And preparing me for the surgery pre-op. Dr. Shah was realistic and explained to me what to expect. When it came to surgery day, the nurses were kind. I'm so glad I had a super nice and fast anesthesiologist also. Surgery is scary, but everybody did tell me I was in good hands. Dr. Booth performed 2 biopsies which led to 2 skin cancer removals, one on each arm. My biggest complaints are that (1) I wasn't aware the biopsy meant removing the entire mole, so I was shocked when I removed band-aids later that evening to find pencil eraser-sized holes in my arms. (2) I am extremely nervous for surgeries and requested I either be put under or prescribed just ONE anti-anxiety pill to take prior to the cancer removals. I was denied by Dr. Booth saying "we don't do that, we'll play relaxing music for you" ... she played Beethoven. I wasn't relaxed and instead had a panic attack like I explained I probably would. The scars from my surgeries are really gnarly considering the moles were so small. I think a more experienced Dr. would've made them less visible. I look like Frankenstein's monster and am often asked (even by strangers) what happened to me. Lastly, every appointment I had she would find something concerning on me, even though nothing new popped up on my skin... to me it seemed she either wanted a repeat customer by delaying diagnosis on my moles, or she wasn't thorough enough upon inspecting my skin. My surgeries were about 1 year ago, and I have a new mole that popped through one of my scars, which makes me think she didn't get all the cancer out. I decided to not go back to Dr. Booth after these experiences.I do not recommend. read more

Where do I begin. It all started with a conversation. I contacted Dr Shahs office after doing so much research online. I was happy to discover his expertise and of course his satisfied patients. (Mastopexy with augmentation) From the week before my surgery to the night before and the days following, he spoke with me personally to clarify if I had any questions or concerns. I found this plastic surgeon through my insurance in 2018, and I'm insured with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I met with Dr.Shah about having a breast reduction due to horrible back issues. After working with him (and being denied by my insurance twice), we finally got my surgery approved. He then called me PERSONALLY to tell me that I needed to pay the cost of the surgery up front (*cough, cough* $10,000...) and THEN he would run it through my insurance and pay me back the difference afterwards. Immediate red flags. I talked to my insurance company and they informed me that by doing that it could compromise their contract with BC/BS. I filed a complaint, and I got phone call after phone call from Dr.Shah's office denying they ever said anything about the $10,000. I ignored their calls, and it was silent for a while. Now I received a bill in 2020 for the office consultation for $900. Turns out, after speaking with my insurance again and reviewing my explanation of benefits, the insurance already covered my office visit back in 2018, and they were double billing me. DO NOT use him if you're an insured patient. He was nice on the consultation, but with all the shady things his office has tried to do to get my money, I will NEVER recommend him to anyone. Anna is the rudest most disrespectful physician. She violated hippa by stating in front of patrons the medicines I take along with mentioning what I come to her for. I scheduled to arrive at a certain time to later get a call back to come earlier than already agreed time. I was told "you can find a different service provider" after just requesting a prescription to be filled that not had already been filled on the last visit. Doctor Shah was nice and was very professional. The night before surgery he called to make sure I was ok and answered any questions I had. He had gone out of town when I was 2 weeks post surgery and I had some post surgery issues but he still got my meds sent right to my pharmacy within minutes. My problem is that ultimately I wanted my breast lifted after nursing and I was worried that just a lift may after settling look droopy so I was told a small implant would help give volume to the upper part of my breast. I was between a deflated c and D cup before surgery and I thought I made it very clear I didn't want anything bigger and would actually be ok with looking smaller.He took measurements and said I would be a full C and that was it. I believe the mistake may have come when I was fitted for the size of implants and the fitting was with a receptionist... the one I paid a bit over $10k to.she said anything smaller than a 400 ran the chance of just disappearing in breast tissue and not giving fullness to the upper half. Unfortunately I am 5 month post op and my breast are so heavy and big they are sagging causing new stretch marks. Now I have to spend more money to get them fixed. read more

I got a breast augmentation done at end of September 2020. I wanted to wait to give a review so I can give you a full detail review from the beginning at the consultation to the last 3 month check up after the procedure. When I got it done I took a chance because there was not many reviews like the one I am about to write so I hope this helps you with your decision. Firstly, the consultation with doctor shah was good. He was informative and answered every single question I have wrote down for him. When going to a consultation I recommend you writing every question you have down so you don't leave anything out and you have no excuse to why he didn't answer the question. He answered everything in deep detail just like I wanted and I am thankful for that. Doctor Shah was my 15th doctor I saw for a breast augmentation consultation. I wanted extremely natural breast and after my consultation I was certain he was the doctor for me. A lot of doctors tried to up size me bc I'm very petite. He was the ONLY doctor out of 14 that did not try to up size me. I went to doctors all over California and Nevada and I'm grateful I found doctor shah. So I paid for the surgery after that consultation because I knew he was the right fit for me. Second, it's surgery day. I am extremely nervous because I've never had surgery before. He came and talked to me and had the anesthesiologist come and talk to me as well. They were very informative that day. The nurses were also very sweet. So after my surgery, I thought I would see doctor shah but unfortunately he was not there. That is my only complaint for surgery day. I wish I would be able to see him after my procedure bc I was scared and in a lot of pain. The nurses took charge though and gave me pain medication. BUT this is a huge BUT my partner called doctor shah that night bc I totally forgot the order of the medications I was supposed to take and doctor shah answered after two rings. He was on it and he gave my partner the instructions of the medications and asked about how I was doing. So I am grateful for that. Third, I go and see him after three days. The nurses were helpful because I couldn't take my shirt off without any help. The doctor took a look and sent me on my way. Which I was fine with bc all I wanted to do was sleep. This surgery took a lot out of me. So be prepared for lots of rest and make sure you have someone there that will help you with everything bc it extremely hard and painful. Then throughout my recovery I had TONS of questions. He was super easy to get in contact with. He responds to his emails within the hour or two. After business hours expect a little bit of a wait (which is extremely normal) When I emailed him and everything I had concerns with, he was on it and called the pharmacy and got me prescriptions I needed. He made me feel like everything is fine! If this is your first surgery and you get very paranoid like me, he's the right doctor! I'm so happy he didn't make me feel bad for emailing him so frequently because I've had doctors in the past that made me feel bad for bothering them! Lastly, I just had my three month check up and my breast look AMAZING. They are everything I wanted. He checked them out and said they are healing perfectly, the scars are healing perfectly and just told me the type of bra I should be wearing for the next six months or so (underwire bra). Just an update it has been 3 1/2 months post BBL surgery. I couldn't possibly be happier with my new shape. Dr. Shaw is the most incredible doctor. I was referred to him by a plastic surgeon who doesn't do BBL's his professionalism and the entire staff are so kind, so genuine, so compassionate, so thoughtful and I'll have such an incredible energy that just going in there you feel uplifted I was highly recommended to do lymphatic drainage, which has been an incredible process of removing the inflammation and increasing the lymphatic function. Doc recommended Renu Evie on as part of my surgery, which has really shaped up and tightened the center of my body at 55 years old. I came here because I got a deal on Groupon to do laser hair removal. This isn't the first time that I've had laser hair removal, so I'm familiar of the process. Besides, my last experience I had with another laser hair removal place did not scare me to try this facility. My last one was a nightmare! This facility they have a doctor on site, not many other "spas" have that, but hopefully that gives you peace. The facility is very clean and professional looking (because other places are pretty scaaaaary looking), and they have staff that is very friendly. Compared to similar businesses, they are usually booked months out, but I called and was able to get an appointment rather quickly to fit my needs. I have only been here once, but I'm impressed already. I will update my journey with them. Side note: Just keep in mind about laser hair removal, it is different for everyone and it is not permanent, its more like semi-permanent. There are a lot of factors that give people different results. Like skin color/hair color, coarse of hair, location of hair, etc, new hair follicles will always find its way through, so what hair you see coming back, might be different hair. Don't be discouraged about the hair removal process. By the way, if it matters to you, their machine is the one that blasts the cool air as they laser. That actually helps ease the pain for me, other place I went did not have that, not even numbing cream. Any how, they have my support, try them out! read more

Ruined my neck for money. I first had a neck and chin lipo due to genetically prominent neck fat. Dr. Shah mentioned renuvion for skin tightening but said it wasn't necessary because of my age I shouldn't have loose skin. About a year later that turned out to not be true. We came back to do the renuvion with another liposuction, claiming renuvion has to come with another liposuction. Basically having the procedure I could've had the first time all over again doubling the overall cost. Seemed to work fine for the first few months and Dr. Shah was even hyping me up, claiming my neck will look so good for 5 years. After a few months the skin got loose again with virtually no change. We came in to talk about how it didn't work and ask what we could do. Immediately Dr. Shah goes on the defensive blaming my weight gain. He then proceeded to speak about my weight in the most insensitive and disrespectful way, saying I looked so good post op and that I don't anymore. I was never against the idea that weight gain would affect my results, if anything id prefer some fat come back so the skin fills up a little, but from my understanding when people gain weight they don't gain significantly loose skin with minimal fat. When asking how that works he was very vague about how bodies work in mysterious ways, used himself as an example for some reason, then when my partner used himself as an example and how he doesn't get loose skin from weight gain he argued that he shouldn't use himself as an example because everybody's different. The more we tried to ask questions for clarity the more defensive he got, interrupting, and repeatedly referring to my pictures and asking me "what happened" regarding my weight. He then recommended ANOTHER liposuction with a different tightening treatment, and I know that too much fat removal causes MORE loose skin and aging. He purposely recommends procedures that seem affordable, that bring new problems so you go back again and again. My feelings aren't hurt, I just hope this doesn't keep happening to people. I love love love. Dr Shah and all of his staff, from both location's. I had an Extended Tummy Tuck with lipo to my upper abdomen and anterior flanks. Then about 30 days later i had liposuction to my arms and posterior flanks area. My Surgery went beautifully and Dr Shah was wonderful before, during and after surger.
