This company really goes above and beyond. I am so thankful we found Signature Propane. We recently moved to Placerville and our propane tank was very low. There was a snow storm scheduled to come in the next 5 days. We called Signature Propane and told them how low we were on propane. They lady said no matter how much propane they had left, she would send a driver to us to make sure we got propane before the snow storm. Someone came to service our tank within 2 hours. They had 100 gallons and filled for us. They said they would come back to fill the rest in a few days. The snow storm came and when our driver returned, he hiked all the way up out hill just to tell us he couldn't service our tank because the snow was blocking. (He did not have to hike all the way up the mountain, he could have easily called us to let us know he couldn't service that day) He even took a look at our propane gauge and let us know we had enough propane to get us through the storm. What a saint! I cannot believe how amazing this company was. They serviced our tank quickly, we're very reliable in coming out a few days later to fill our tank, and bless that driver that hiked through 2 feet of snow and checked our tank even when he couldn't service us. We called Signature propane co to get an estimate on installing a new propane gas connection and were given an estimate of approximately $300. They sent Jordon out who had no parts on his truck on round 1. Then he came out and was at the house for about an hour. We notice a propane smell and put soapy water at the site of work performed and it was leaking. We called the company and asked for it to be checked and repaired. They sent Jordon back out and 2 parts were needed a sweep and connector. It claimed he checked his work and there were no leaks. He went to our neighbor and he also had a leak on his work. We called the company and spoke with Marissa who is extremely rude and condescending. Jordon came out with Mike to check our house and then Marks house. Our house was fine and fixed. Our neighbor was not so lucky they refused to fixed the job so we had another propane company out who did all the repairs correctly. Mark was given his money back from Signature Propane and they stuck it to us. Our quote was $300 our bill was $1101.18. We never got an itemized bill and our Invoice states it 30 days late but never received an invoice prior to this one. We called the company, Marissa was rude and stated our policy is not to give an itemized bill until paid. However, our neighbor got one. I said how could our bill be $1101.18 for 2 hours of work at our house plus 2 parts. She said they charge drive time to Swansburo area . I asked how much- we were told $75. So, I said how could this bill be $1101.18. I asked for a breakdown emailed to our email. She refused and rudely hung up on us. Do not use the company. Both Jordon and Marissa are willing to g to lie. Also- when they quote a propane gas price you bill will reflect a much higher amount. We switched to Campo and our neighbor Ferrell gas. This company is the best! I have checked around and they have the best prices and great service. I ran into and knocked over my 500 gallon propane tank and nearly had a panic attack. I called Signature the next morning and Randi sent out a truck right away and had the tank back up and working before noon. You can't ask for nicer people to work with or better service. read more

I am so unhappy with their service. They came a week late and only because I called them (I am on their routine route). The tank was empty. The driver told me if I ever notice I am low and see a Signature Propane truck, flag it down and ask the driver to come to my home and he will. Not very professional or organized! The driver came late in the day, just at dusk, and today I notice my hot water heater pilot is out. I called for help and found out they do not do house calls on weekends. The tech told me to "read the instructions" on the hot water tank. The pilot control is out of my reach in the back. So I guess I have to wait for Monday for hot water. Not to mention how expensive this service is!! read more

The BEST!!! We have lived in El Dorado Hills since 1997 and have used several local propane companies. Signature Propane, by far, has the best customer service and is very honest about their prices. They are not like other companies that give you a great rate initially to get you in contract then raise the prices substantially. They offer the best rates all year around. We purchased our propane tank from the previous company we had and Signature Propane did a great job with the conversion Every time we call they are very friendly over the phone. They deserve ten stars! Their price for propane is always significantly lower than all of the other companies. It's even lower than other companies first fill price. They don't hassle you over the phone like other companies who want to do leak checks even though my tank has been installed for many years. And Signature Propane doesn't hassle you to become a full time customer with monthly deliveries. I've never had a problem with any delivery. Signature Propane does business the right way. read more

The poor service I received from my existing propane company forced me to shop around and finally buy my own propane tank. Ami was extremely helpful and made it very easy to decide to own my own tank and allowing me to control the costs of propane as I was forced to pay exorbitant rates prior! The installation of the tank was done excellently by Mike and his team; they were done in no time and even pulled out the other companies' tank as they came late! Moving to the country means learning about a few things you take for granted in the City, such as keeping an eye on your propane levels . I've bounced around between haulers over the last two years, but today I awoke to a tank completely empty and started calling around to find out who could deliver a rush order. I called on Signature first because they had the best prices in my past experience, but Randi apologized and said all drivers were slammed so it may take a few days. While she researched, i got on the phone and called 5 other providers and was told we'd get propane in two to four weeks, and in general everyone had an attitude if indifference. But Signature called back and said Brian was on the way! We got delivery within 3 hours of my original call, and with a big smile. Made my day!!! Thank you Randi and Brian!! read more

This company is as good as it gets. First of all, they're very small, so every time you call you speak with the same person. After a terrible experience with Campora Propane, Signature has been amazing. I've had to be on temporary tanks for several weeks now and they have been so helpful throughout the process. They've been out here at least four times in the last month as I deal with an issue that they had nothing to do with, and they've never charged me a penny for their time, just the gas they deliver. They also have the best rates I can find on propane. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who isn't tied to a particular provider. And if you are leasing a tank from some crappy company like Campora, dump it, buy a tank from Signature, and you'll have made up the cost of the tank in a year or two because they'll sell you the propane so much cheaper. We have had Signature Propane for this past year and we were very unhappy with their company. First we had a leak this past November because one of their drivers did not tighten the hose correctly. A drive came out, tightened it and apologized, except we were out $200. We complained and they sent someone out to check the tank and he cut me off every chance we could, and accused us of burning through the propane ourselves and said there would be no refund. We had a bad winter up in Pollock and our driveway is very tough when there is a lot of snow, but the drivers wouldn't even go down our county plowed 2-lane main road to see if they could make it down our driveway. All of our neighbors whom go through other companies had propane w/in 3 weeks of the storm. We did not get propane for over 2 months. The last straw was when they broke out gate getting out of the driveway this spring and they never offered to repair it or would even admit that it happened. I never write bad reviews, but this is a terrible company. They were very shady about everything, their customer service was terrible if any issues came up, and sometimes they even flat out lied about services they gave us. I do not recommend. read more
