Which was no surprise at all, size 14s are hard to find on store shelves, but it was a surprise when they couldn't order Triumphs at all. I really wanted the same shoe again so Jesse the store manager went the extra mile and got in touch with the supplier only to find out that their was an issue in the manufacturing of that particular shoe for the time being. So, he found me two other pairs, a Brooks with similar off-set, and another pair of Sauconys with less off-set and more 'spring' to them. He ordered one pair and transferred (from the downtown location) the other, both in size 14. They arrived a few days later, I get the call and come in. Upon trying them on we quickly realize I need to be running in size 15's. So he orders the same two pairs for me this time one size up. The Brooks arrived first. I got a call, came in and met Jed (I think that's his name) I tried them on around the store, felt good. The Toebox felt a bit big though. Jed explained how that extra 'freedom' up front (my words) could lead to some horizontal movement and therefor friction on the bottom of my foot and the shoe. I was eager to run though. He said go, take 'em for a spin, you can bring 'em back muddy, whatever, just try 'em out. So I did. That night went for a quick 4 miler, they felt good, but he was right, too much play up front. The next day the other Sauconys came in in size 15. Try'd them on, felt awesome. They let me return the lightly used Brooks, and I'm super satisfied with these. Only 20 miles so far, but they are perfect. Big thank you the Jesse and Jed. Amazing Service.

This store is amazing. Located in Beaverton, OR, near Nike Global Headquarters. Top notch Nike…read moregear, great prices and good customer service. First, you need a pass to shop here, if you do not have one, you will be disappointed, no entry, no exceptions. Second, everything in the store is 40% off, with the exception of selected items which will be marked. Third, the store carries all products that Nike offers, clothing, shoes, sports equipment and more. Free parking, about 25 minutes from Portland. Definitely worth the visit of you like Nike looking for great deals.

Great for Shoes, Not Much Else…read more First off, this employee store is much harder to get into than the Columbia or Adidas employee stores. It's pretty rare that I get a pass -- usually it's through my 107ist membership -- so I end up going maybe once a year, if that. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking and the store itself is clean and well organized. The clothing selection is definitely trendy... maybe too trendy. It feels geared more toward teenagers and young adults. I've visited a few times now and honestly haven't found any apparel that interests me. A lot of it comes off as flashy. I was hoping to see more outfits tied to big events like the Winter Olympics or the World Cup, but while they did have a few jackets and pants, they were pretty boring overall. The real draw here is the shoes. About half the store is dedicated to footwear, and there are some really nice options. Most shoes are around 40% off, with the non-discounted pairs clearly marked. Prices on display shoes usually range from about $145-$220, so you can do the math to decide if it's worth it. Even with discounts, many pairs still start around $80 and go up from there. Clothing, on the other hand, still felt overpriced even after the employee store markdowns. I've been here three times now and still haven't bought a single thing. In comparison, I've purchased multiple items at other brand employee stores. That said, if you're already planning to buy Nike shoes, this can definitely be a solid deal. One standout positive: the employees have always been very friendly and helpful.

I was here for the Sketchers and they have a larger selection than most department stores. I have to try on shoes because I need arch support and a wide toe bed, so ordering online isn't an option unless I am ordering a repeat of an existing shoe. Spent a good 45 minutes going up and down the aisles, trying on shoes, putting them back. It was a bit exhausting since this is a do it yourself shopping experience and I felt badly leaving a dozen boxes of shoes on the bench. Wish I had left a popcorn trail cause I spent so much time trying to put them back or find them to try a different size! It's a bit overwhelming. Left with a pair of black slip on Sketcher sandals and AdidasCloud sneakers in baby blue, a total random purchase, after checking online to make sure the prices were the best. I highly recommend doing this as some of the models I could buy through Amazon or Zappos for less. Was very happy with my purchases and have since been to other Famous Footwear locations.

She already helped my wife with shoes that slipped in the recent past, so I decided to go back to the Shoe Mill when I had the same issue with a new pair of shoes, and guess who was there again. So, what makes Michelle great at her job and stand out above the rest, she is a creative problem solver. She didn't just point me in the direction of the insoles, which there is a small wall full. The insoles were not cushiony, I really thought it was going to be a bust before Michelle came to save the day. I didn't need hard supportive insoles, I needed as she put it, to take up space. This also added cushion, which is what I wanted. I should add she remembered both my wife and I, and my wife's very unique shoes.... That's impressive. My shoes felt great and no longer slipped in the back. I will come back for any issues with fit, only because of Michelle.
