Great for Shoes, Not Much Else First off, this employee store is much harder to get into than the Columbia or Adidas employee stores. It's pretty rare that I get a pass -- usually it's through my 107ist membership -- so I end up going maybe once a year, if that. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking and the store itself is clean and well organized. The clothing selection is definitely trendy... maybe too trendy. It feels geared more toward teenagers and young adults. I've visited a few times now and honestly haven't found any apparel that interests me. A lot of it comes off as flashy. I was hoping to see more outfits tied to big events like the Winter Olympics or the World Cup, but while they did have a few jackets and pants, they were pretty boring overall. The real draw here is the shoes. About half the store is dedicated to footwear, and there are some really nice options. Most shoes are around 40% off, with the non-discounted pairs clearly marked. Prices on display shoes usually range from about $145-$220, so you can do the math to decide if it's worth it. Even with discounts, many pairs still start around $80 and go up from there. Clothing, on the other hand, still felt overpriced even after the employee store markdowns. I've been here three times now and still haven't bought a single thing. In comparison, I've purchased multiple items at other brand employee stores. That said, if you're already planning to buy Nike shoes, this can definitely be a solid deal. My friend and I got a guest voucher to come up to the Nike Company Store that had specific dates only. So we decided to take the spontaneous short weekend get away from California to go. We just made it into a mini trip to Portland. It was both of our first times at the Nike Store. We loved it here! We spent 4 hours in the store. Idk how. We just had too much fun shopping. But I will say, I expected it to be bigger. It was decent size still though. There were not as many shoes for women compared to men. The staff are so friendly!! There are constantly walking around assisting people. One lady heard me say "dang, they don't have my size" to my friend and she quickly came over and offered her assistance to check the back for me. They are all patient as well. With the whole store at 40% off and no sales tax, it was a great value! Coming from bay area where our sales tax is 10.75%, its so nice to not pay for it in Portland. I hadn't returned since my last visit in 2021. Back then, I could never find anything worth buying here. However, I have been here 3 times recently and was surprised to find some recent releases in-store that were either already sold out online or had just dropped, like the Pegasus Premium and the Year of the Snake Air Force 1s. I mainly came in for shoes and was able to find exactly what I was looking for, though I wasn't looking for anything rare or limited. If an item is available in-store, they can order a different size or color and have it shipped to your home if it's in stock online. However, they can't place orders for items not currently in the store, even if they're available on the website. Their footwear selection is much stronger than their apparel. As a Nike stan, a trip to the employee store has always been a bucket list stop for me and luckily we were able to secure some passes to check it out. For those traveling, you 1000% need a pass to enter the store, so don't bother trying if you aren't able to get one. The pass is good for one person or married couples who have identification that shows the same address. For non-employees, the pass allows you to purchase anything in the store for 40% off MSRP. When we arrived on a weekend day, there was a pretty sizable line but it moved pretty quick. Once you are inside, it's actually quite overwhelming because of the crowds inside made it kind of hectic. Once I got my bearings down, I strolled with dozens of aisles of shoes and clothings. I was really hoping to find some golf clothes, but the selection this time wasn't heavy on the golf. They had a lot of essential clothing items like their new 24/7 line and for those that love the tech line, they had plenty of options. All the Jordans were next to each other, while the rest of the selection was split up by gender. I was able to pick up some new golf pants, and a bunch of shoes. I was looking for a new pair of Jordan 1 golf shoes and vomero 5s and got the colorways that I wanted. If you aren't able to get to this store, the Nike Outlets have some competitive pricing, although the selection can vary. I think the good thing about shopping here is the selection and they were stocked with some of their most popular Nike running shoes and pretty much all the golf shoes they offer. My biggest recommendation is to give yourself plenty of time to shop and check out. We were kind of in a rush because we had to catch a flight home, so we didn't spend as much time as we normally would because the lines took some time to get through. So time plan accordingly. For the Nike fans, if you are able to gain access, this is definitely a spot worth checking out! read more

Nike is the premier product for athletes these days. If you want the latest, this is your spot. You have to have an invitation to get in, which will give you a 40% or so discount. Depends on the invitation. I found it's not a value for me. The prices are extremely high, so the discount brings the price to normal retail. I do better at Nike's outlet and Clearance stores. The service level is off the charts. They have staff everywhere waiting to assist you. They will dismantle a displace to get a product if need be. WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS Beware never ever buy Nike shoes bc they're a scam company. They do not stand behind their product. I got my son a $300 pair of VaporFly Nikes about a year ago. When my son who's a Marine was running using them for the first time the whole bottom gave way ripping the sole in shreads. And he got hurt call in the fall. I called the company told them what happened. They gave me an address and a return label to send the shoes to which I did do. I wasn't hearing anything so I called them and they said "oh yeah sorry we didn't get a hold of you to tell you that we did receive the shoes back. You'll be hearing from somebody and you'll be getting instructions." We didn't hear back so I gave another call and they informed me that we would not get a refund to the payment credit card but instead a gift card because they don't give refunds. They'll just replace the shoes with the gift card. A month went fine. Didn't hear anything so I called them back. They gave me a gift card number & sent me an actual screenshot of it to use it online. Well when we went to go use the gift card online it said that it was not valid. I called them up. That was about 3 - 4 months ago and they told me that we must be doing something wrong because the gift card was valid. In the meantime, I ended up having a couple surgeries and my son was sent to South Korea so supposedly the card was good forever. My son tried it when he got back to the states not too long ago and again it said invalid card number. I called them 1 month ago and told them that the gift card code that they gave us would not work and that online it said that it was an invalid card number. They said that somebody would be contacting me but nobody did. I called there the other day and they told me " that gift card has already been redeemed!" I said "nope sorry we tried it. It said card was invalid right from the first day that we got the code." He said "well somehow the card was scammed or hacked into" and I said "well that would be on your end because I never had a card it was just a number through my email where people don't have my email address or my email password so I told them that's on Nike. You don't have a proper security system if a hacker can break into your company and get gift card numbers." Nike is nothing but a bunch of lying SOB's. So not only are we out the shoes...(my son could at least had one shoe), I'm out $300 as well. I'm a 74-year-old disabled widow living on a very small Social Security check. Do not buy Nike. They're a trash greedy company and don't give a rats behind about their customers. If you are not a Nike employee, then you need a pass in order to shop and get the 40% off discount. The entrance included checking IDs and going over a few things like the return policy. My husband got our pass through AAA, and we found out it was one time use only even if AAA offers it again. We could only return with a pass from a different company. I got a jacket, and my husband got a pair of shoes. There was a variety but limited with selection and color options. They also didn't have my size in some items I considered buying. Long overdue review for the 2 times I've been blessed to come here. The experience to me was just so cool to be here. You need a pass to get in. If you don't have one, you're not getting in. The item or dollar amount limit to purchase is listed on the pass. It's typically $3000 or 30 items, whichever comes first. You are only allowed 1 transaction per pass. So if you have 10 items, you can't pay for 8 items, then have someone else pay for 2 items. It has to be all 10 items in 1 transactions. Once you leave the store after paying you're not allowed back in. But you can leave the store and come back if you haven't made a transaction yet. Just ask an associate. Once you get in, the first thing you see is the clothing displays. From active wear, to casual, to sports jerseys, running gear, sunglasses and so much more. Now at the back of the store, is the huge selection of shoes. Men's on the left, women's and kids on the right. If you're a huge Nike fan like me, you're going to be there for a while. They have basketball shoes, golf shoes, tennis shoes, running, Jordan's, casual comfort shoes, sandals, trail, water. It's awesome to see the selection. On the back left wall, they had a returns section where they have shoes/colors that are discontinued or not in stock on the main shelves. You could find some really pairs there. Behind the registers they have a wall of backpacks. Last year I got a golf bag that i still use to this day. They have baseball gloves, basketballs, socks. Last year they have a nike free weight set. Now remember, you're in Oregon where it's tax free. The discount is 40% off retail. So if you're curious on how much you'll pay, just take the retail price and multiply it by (0.6). $100 x (0.6) = $60 If you have the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend it. Everything about this store is very hit or miss. I've been there on days when there was no line to get in and days where the line is out the door. Sometimes the merchandise available is great and sometimes there's absolutely nothing I would want to buy. Some of the employees are really friendly and helpful and other times you see half of them just standing around on the sales floor talking to each other. Visited the company store after taking a trip with the family. We were lucky enough to have friends that allowed us a pass and were excited to see what all the buzz was about (I've seen the social media posts with the giant receipts lol). I was honestly underwhelmed when I got there. The selection pretty large however it was still limited (especially on sizing etc.). I also think that the prices are overprice to be honest even with the large discount. In many cases I could get better deals at the Nike Outlet or from distributors (like at Costco for instance). I think the only benefit is the "latest" shoes are available at the company store so if you want to have the latest shoe/trend then it would be great to grab them here for a discount, otherwise it's pretty much a larger selection outlet in my opinion. read more

I used to love coming to this store but not really anymore. I used to score so many premiere fun and premium items! Like reflective shorts or utility jackets or cactus jack. The selection now is so disappointing. I once spent $600 here but recently I walked out empty handed. There used to be a wall of sports bras and I went looking for it and it no longer exists. There was such few selection!! The only thing you can really get is leggings and fleece. I don't need more fleece! I was so disappointed. Nike is my favorite and I wear it every day. The shoe selection has also been lacking. When I do find a style I like, it's rare that I find a size 5 women. The converse section is also gone. The service is usually good but nothing over the top. I really wish there would be better stock. There were also so few Smalls and Mediums in women's clothing. I'll keep coming when I have a pass but I sincerely wish for better. If candy stores and porn had a baby, it would be the Nike Company Store. I couldn't contain myself. In fact, I have a hematoma on my arm..... from all the pinching to see if I was dreaming. Ok... you get it. Unreal retail adrenaline! I went in on Monday at approximately noon. There was no line, I got checked in within 2 minutes of entering the vestibule, and had the best experience ever. Not only did I come equipped with the 40% discount pass, but there were also items on clearance, for an additional 30-40% off, and they weren't crappy items! I hadn't gone more than 10 feet within the sweats & hoodie section, and my cart was already 1/2 full, and before I even made it to the sneaker section, I decided to try on everything, just in case i didn't want any of the items, so I could make room for more. I ended up keeping 95% of everything I selected, so now I have a #dailydrip for the 'Gram at the gym through the rest of February. The sneaker section actually gave me a headache, because there was no way in Hell I could narrow it down to 2 sneakers on my limited budget. I tried on all kinds of collab, retro, and themed sneakers, before ultimately deciding on a mustard-colored Dunks, and a the waterproof AirForce 1's by Jun Takahashi. But it took a good hour of trying, prying, and crying, before I got lots of help from some of the friendliest staff I've ever met at a Nike store. If only all Nike retail stores could have staff like this. And if you need to return, you can return at any Nike store. Since I have a pass good for the entire month of November and a really nasty discount of around 40%, I come here every year in November. The cherry on top is that there is absolutely no sales tax. It moves quickly, but you should be prepared for incredibly long lines and a filled parking lot depending on your arrival time. Discounts and tax exemptions compensate for the unimpressive selections. Above all, I really like Nikes! I wanted to get matching track suit for myself and my wife and approached a few employees to get their help. Trinity showed me around the entire store, made sure I knew all of my option including different fit options, styles, and colors. The service provided by Trinity was absolutely next level. I felt like I had a new friend who also happened to be an expert of the inventory. When you get in on the left entrance, you can head right and there is check in. No need to line up in the front- those are for returns! PRO- Dog friendly! We got access by getting one of the limited bracelets for participating in Valley Invite softball tournament. We started out with excitement, getting to go shopping for Nike products at the Comoany store with a 40 percent discount. The downside is that the selection was very limited either by selection or popular sizes on popular items. If you can imagine that there were two different models of soccer cleats available in the men's section. My daughter liked a couple of items, but they did not have any of her size on any of the styles. I asked one of the staff members if it was always this busy and if the inventory was always limited. The response was usually on weekends. I guess that is okay, but we left in 30 minutes with only one item. The Nike Company Store is meant for employees and their family and close friends who have been honored with a guest pass. I am blessed enough that my friend's friend is a Nike employee and granted me a guest pass so I can go with my other friends. 40% off marked prices for guests and NO TAX IN OREGON!! That made the math super simple. Move the decimal place and multiple by 6 for the item's total. My friends who I came with splurged gloriously and spent $400-600 on their untaxed goods. I spent north of $100 and still got a decent amount of Nike items. I got 2 drawstring bags that are super durable, running shorts for when I lounge around the house, and a dry fit tanktop for my work outs... and also for when I'm lounging around the house. I live in California so I can justify an endless amount of shorts and tanktop. My favorite purchase is definitely my new purse and laptop bag. I saw it as I approached the checkout stand and tried to convince myself I didn't need it. However as I opened up and felt the material and saw the convenient compartments, I was able to justify that this can be a potential work bag for my work laptop and other things. It's so durable I can really throw it around and not have heartache like I would with my fancier delicate designer bags. The reason why I didn't buy too too much was because a lot of the items were still a bit pricey even with the 40% discount. I have found as competitive deals locally at the Nike outlets back towards home. My friends admit that loving the Nike brand was part of their splurge. I love Nike too. I'm one of those, "I don't wear Adidas" people... But I didn't feel like Nike's leggings were better than my beloved Beyond Yoga or Lululemon fitness legging. Nikes are spendy...flat out BUT Nikes can be totally worth it. I am not a huge fan of their clothing with a few exceptions since one of my favorite pairs of workout pants are these bad boys. They have lived through the roughhousing I give them on a regular basis and still look brand new after years and years, much like any shoes I have owned. Back in the day as a youth I ran and did all of the sports and I did all this in my Crosstrainers which they no longer make. Their regular shoes and my feet are not too friendly which is ok because their shoes are made for specifics. These days I do Pilates (no shoes) and Zumba which they just do not have shoes that go well. With that said...I love their flip flops! Yeah, no joke but they last and last and are actually pretty inexpensive, hard to find and you can get them right here at the employee store. The store is a pretty big thing to experience and you can score some crazy great deals here along the walls of shoes - especially parents. This place is made for families since you can be in fashion but for some great prices...AND CONVERSE! My feet don't find Converse comfy but shop here if you do because they have so may choices for waaaaay less money! If you can get a pass or go with a friend who works here, take your time - you are going to need it because on a normal day the line can go around and around and around - especially when approaching the holidays or the end of the month. THEY HAVE EVERYTHINGGGGGG As a Nike fanatic, this store is pretty much the epitome of awesomeness. So many clothes and shoes selection that makes me feel like a child again. The store itself is pretty much 3x the size of a typical Nike store in size and amount of merchandise. Each item is about 40% off from their retail price. Even though you probably won't get the latest Nike gear, you'll definitely get the most recently released item at a very great price. ALL IN ALL, great place to be for a Nike fan.
