This was my sons first visit to this office. I have stayed with his same pediatric dentist since he was 4 because I was afraid of him having a bad experience elsewhere, so I drove 50 miles to keep him there. He is 11 years old now and I heard that Signature Smiles was a really good dentistry office so I decided to try it out. I can't say ONE negative thing about this office. I absolutely love it. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the environment and atmosphere is so open and warm and welcoming. We just found our family dentist. I love it! I choose to give my business to Signature Smiles in Humble. I work down the street and was able to go to my appointments during my break. When I first started going there, I was told that the orthodontist would be there every day of the week. Big plus for me because I had options when it came to my appointments. Well it stayed like that for about two months. When I went to make my third appointment, the lady over the phone informed that she was sorry but the dentist would now only be there two days out of the week, he was trying something new. So now I'm down to Tuesday and Thursday. I was able to get in on those days so that was no big deal. Brittany was so professional, I knew to request her because she was quick and got the job done right. After about another two months, I got a call about the doctor now only being there one day a week. I quickly became frustrated. They did offer me to visit one of their other locations which were both 30 plus minutes away from me. I did call one of their other locations but they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't see my file because each location had their own patients (understandable). After moving my schedule around, I was able to make it to my appointments. Fast forward to the end of my treatment with braces, I get an email from Signature Smiles apologizing about their humble location closing. I was there the day before the email, you'd think they have the courtesy to let me know about it, instead when I tried to book for my next appointment, the lady said she couldn't see as far as January to be able to schedule me. Big lie! She knew then the place was closing down. Now I called the woodlands location and Princess (the lady who answers the phone) informed me that her location has nothing to do with the humble location. It has a different owner, manager etc. When I asked her why was I then referred there, she couldn't answer me. Why is it named the same? She said she didn't know why the humble location was closed but she knew that the location in the heights would be closing soon as well. I'm so frustrated with Signature Smiles. I've been lied to way too many times and I've already invested so much on my teeth with them. I advice anyone looking into this place, to stay away!!! read more

We moved to Conroe and I needed a new dentist for my kids so I chose Signature Smiles because it was very close to our house but It was the worst dentist experience for my daughter. The dentist made my daughter cry because he was not careful with the anesthetic shots if I did not say that my daughter is not fine, the doctor would continue with the procedure. They had to use the nitrous gas on her. She had never needed that gas before with any other dentist procedure. Beside that it look like that the ladies in the front desk are unhappy to work there. The only person that I give my approval was the dentist assistance, she was very kind to my daughter. My daughter does not want to come back again. read more

Great staff from the beginning! As soon as you walk in the door you get greeted with smiles from all the staff. I had my deep cleaning with Christina (hygienist) today and she did an amazing job!! Her helper Marisol was also very friendly and helpful! I have anxiety but they made sure to make me feel comfortable. At the end Paulina helped me with my financing questions and didn't rush me through anything. Both my little guys cried at their previous dentist visits all the time. I'm so unhappy with this place I took my daughter to get her teeth cleaned and they did it the doctor that checked my daughter was for adults he was really nice when it came to telling me she needed more work I said okay and how much would it be they gave me one price and the girl said we will talk to the person that would do the work on your daughter to do if he could lower it I said please tell me ahead of time and the girl calls me almost two weeks later saying sorry the person that will do the work hasn't been here hmm I thought to myself it's been two weeks and they tell me this I have been waiting on a call and no one can say anything I was so mad I'm taking my daughter somewhere else to get checked read more

The service on the the first day was very unorganized and took a long time. I paid $300 for the sedation service, but there was still a lot of pain involved in the procedure. Took one month to get my permanent cap in. No one called after the procedure and no one called to let me know the cap was in. Refund process was easy for work I decided not to get done after this experience. They did charge the full amount the first day even though not all work was completed that day. read more

I had to reschedule my appointment multiple times & every time they called to remind me they were super friendly at rescheduling it & getting me in on a timely manner. The front desk workers were all really helpful & I got in really quickly. My natural anxiety kicked in & they did such a great job of calming me down once I was brought back there. The ladies were hilarious & made me feel right at home. Dr. Brian did a phenomenal job & they were all educated on everything. My boyfriend switched over to them after my appointment was done. I took my 3 1/2 son in on Saturday, Feb 11th. From the minute I walked in, the girls were so sweet in the front, Paulina and I cannot remember the other girls name but they took care of us wonderfully. The dental hygienist, Valerie was so wonderful with Brody and made him feel so comfortable. The treasure chest was awesome and Brody was in heaven with the TVs. Then the best part, Dr. Lee came and talked with me about Brodys teeth and thumb sucking. He was so nice and so down to earth. We talked and made me feel so comfortable and has the best bedside manor. I will be back in 6 months and Brody had so much fun and asks to brush his teeth all the time now. I went to this signature smiles for the first time with a relatively BIG chip in my front tooth and they took good care of me. Dr Stanworth did an excellent job fixing my tooth and making it look exactly how it did before. The whole staff there was extremely helpful and very nice. It is to sad that you go to get your teeth fix and then you have a bigger problem. in the Rx shows that i didn't have any infection. I know you believe in what the dentist said. I took a picture to the Rx and I went to visit another dentist and they took another Rx and he told me that the Rx shows that everything was OK, i didn't know why I was so stupid and came back to see Dr Stansworth and he saw that my tooth was OK, he stopped like thinking and knowing that he was going to make a mistake, and I had anesthesia in my mouth and with the mask that make go to the moon, like drunk and he removed my tooth out. The problem I had was my gum was sensitive and irritated because the tooth paste was causing my problem. That was unnecessary the tooth extraction. This situation is so sad because now i need and implant, this is to expensive and now I have to wait to do it. I do recommend that go to get an a second opinion because you can make a mistake like i did. read more

No substitute for professionalism and experience! And this dental office has is neither professional or experienced. After one visit with the dentist, I knew I was in the wrong place for truly professional care! This place is a money mill and is part of a company - not a local dentist! I called my previous dentist and discovered their prices are way over the standard or contract pricing for my insurance. The dentist did a simple process that didn't address or fix the issue. I returned to my previous dentist and saved hundreds of dollars and got the professional care anyone would expect from a true professional. I agree with previous posts concerning the 'kids' at the front office. They are straight out of ITT front office school. I doubt they can correctly file patient documents. I know they cannot accurately forward dental records because they couldn't figure out HOW! These young ladies in the front office have literally no knowledge of dental care or patient care. Stay away from this place! Go to a REAL dental office - not this money mill staffed with brainless, ill-trained office staff and dentist who can't find work elsewhere. read more

This was my son's first dentist appointment. I was very nervous about what Dentist to pick because I don't want him to not like it or them not do well with children. I know it makes a lasting impression on the child as their first experience. When I called to make the appointment they were very nice and helpful on the phone I was able to get in later that week. When we went to the office they have a space for children in the waiting room which was very nice for a two-year-old. He was able to play games in the kid area and had plenty a room to run around and not bother other people. This is important for me as a parent with small children. The wait was not long and the front staff could not of been more friendly. When we got called to the back the doctor came in very soon after. My son was very nervous and did not really know what was going on but the doctor did great with him and was able to see all of his teeth and brush them with the toothbrush. I was very happy with the experience that I had I would recommend this office to anyone with small children. read more

I had a dental abscess a few weeks ago that led to the need for an extraction. I have an intense fear of dentists based on previous experiences, and all work done on my teeth over the past 20 years has been done using oral sedation. I had not selected a dentist since I moved to Texas, but this issue pushed me to make a decision. I made my decision based on Signature Smiles offering oral sedation. For the first visit, I immediately let the dentist know that I am horrified, yes that is the word I used, of dental work. He proceeded to poke a sharp instrument into a sensitive tooth and seemed surprised when I jumped a mile. He made the comment that "my you have sensitive teeth". Yep! My blood pressure went through the ceiling! It was an emergency, so I met with the business office, agreed to the price for an extraction, a permanent bridge and oral sedation. When I came back to the office to have the work done a week later, I was left sitting in the lobby more the 30 minutes past my appointment time. Finally taken back, I was given one sedation tablet and sat to wait. It had almost zero effect. The dental assistant then started nitrous oxide which didn't do the trick either. When the dentist came in a few minutes later, I point blank told him I didn't think I could sit through the work. He totally disregarded my fear and said he was just going to put numbing gel on. The gel didn't work, so when he started the Novocain injections, they were very painful and when I tried to let him know, he told me to quiet down. Then when he was going to start working on pulling the tooth, he said all you are feeling is pressure, and I told him "no, I can feel the cold of your finger" and I let him know it was still painful. He disregarded what I told him. By the time he was pulling the tooth I was crying and he was telling me that he would either do it this way or my only other choice was to go to a hospital for IV sedation. Said that line a couple of times, pretty much telling me what an irritating baby I was and telling me "most people only need one pill". Why did he not reevaluate the sedation need when I told him up front that I didn't think I could go through with the work? I was not adequately sedated, and he just didn't care nor take steps to ensure my comfort or address my fear! When the work was finally done, I was dismissed from his office with a friend without so much as a single written instruction as to how to care for my mouth after the extraction, nor any directions as to when I should return to have the remainder of the work completed. I never heard from the office after that visit. Needless to say, I will not be returning to have Signature Smiles complete the work. I was so proud to have been able to initially walk into their office and sit in the chair, something I haven't been able to do in more than a decade, but based on their callous and insensitive attitudes towards someone truly terrified of dental work and the extremely painful experience, I am right back to where I was -not willing sitting in that dental chair. read more
