Not happy with this dental office. They tried to scare my 18 year old saying she has periodontal disease, and tried to up charge her over $400 for a special toothpaste saying she has micro cavities. It took over 2 hours for a cleaning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She felt they were rude to her. Which I believe because I felt they were rude when I was speaking to the front desk staff regarding our insurance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They did not give her or my two other children toothbrushes. We switched here because our other dentist no longer takes our insurance and it was a highly disappointing experience. We will find a different place moving forward. read more

They refuse services of teeth cleaning covered by insurance unless you accept their up-charges and unwanted services. They forced my mom out when she denied to pay $10,000 for services, and forced her to sign a release form. Definitely avoid, make reports to Texas board and insurance board as well. BEWARE!!! We've been going here for the past couple of years for my daughter and had an appointment scheduled for today. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I received several calls and texts today (the morning of the appointment) demanding that I send them my social security number over the phone and even asked for me to text it to them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I called back when I could and said that we would be happy to provide it when we arrived for the appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Heather at the front desk said that was unacceptable and they would have to reschedule if I didn't give her the number over the phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I advised that we would find a new dentist that respected our privacy and didn't wait until the last minute to make demands. Not sure if this was nefarious or not, but I've never heard of anything like this from a dentist. Plenty of other options in our area that I'm sure will be much better to deal with. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was decent but their process was too drawn out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In a nutshell, after almost an hour in their office, I still hadn't had my teeth cleaned/scraped. The time spent in the chair was mostly diagnostic, in that they first checked my gum levels, then had the dentist talk with me about cleaning options, and my overall treatment options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dental hygienist also told me he needed to 'wait to hear what the dentist thinks, since it's up to the dentist what type of cleaning he does" (and to think, I had a choice in it!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That wasn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things...the whole routine teeth cleaning was just really inefficient and seemed more geared towards upselling me on treatment options instead of a routine cleaning. read more

My husband called with an abscessed tooth two days before Christmas (Wednesday) . The person who answers the phones said they were out of appointments and to just swish with hot salty water until he could be seen the following Monday. Proper protocol in an emergency situation is to have the dentist on call speak to the patient directly by phone and likely call in antibiotics, not to have a receptionist dispensing medical advice. My husband ended up needing emergency surgery on Christmas Day, which we found with another provider on the other side of town out of network due to the holiday. Dental abscesses can become dangerous medical events very quickly, so I don't appreciate his concern being blown off. He went back in today (Monday) and no one expressed concern or apologized. Got me in for a crown, now can't see me for 2 weeks to fix it even though I'm in pain. Also they misled me about fixing issues for no charge. first I had a crown put in and the dentist was friendly. He told me if I had any pain issues with my crown to let them know and he would take care of it, no charge since I already spent well over a grand on it. Then a couple weeks later I started getting pretty severe pain anytime I drink anything, so I called them. They told me they didn't know what I was talking about with the no charge and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks!! They got me in super quickly for an expensive procedure, but now that I'm in pain from that procedure, I have to wait because they can't squeeze me in between cleanings? The time they gave me is super inconvenient too, but I had to take it because again, I am in serious pain and just want them to fix it ASAP read more

What. Can. I. Say?! The staff here is over the top. I was in to have my root canal done and crown placed. They were going to send me home with a temporary crown but I reminded the doctor that I was told it could all be done during the same visit. Little did I know how much more time was involved! Dr. Arsiwala, Cynthia, and Hiedi all stayed after closing just so I would not need an additional appointment. And I don't mean an extra 30 minutes. They stayed an extra three hours! (My case was rather difficult.) Three hours after closing and Cynthia was still singing away. How does she do it?! I doubt I would have felt like singing. The crown feels like a perfect fit. As for the endodontic specialist, Dr. Cam, I immediately warmed up to his level of energy. He told me upfront that my case would be difficult and why and explained the risks involved. I really appreciated the transparency. I must admit to becoming a bit apprehensive however, Dr. Cam's professionalism and self-confidence quickly put me at ease. And ladies, if you're going to be on your back with a man hovering over you for a couple hours... Dr. Cam is hecka good-looking too! ;) read more

I had a really great experience here (first time). Dr. Arsiwala was personable, gentle and knowledgable. She informed me of everything she was doing along the way and made sure I knew what was involved in my care plan. After being examined, the receptionist contacted my insurance and brought me a print-out of what my upfront costs would be in accordance with what the doctor recommended. I ended up getting 4 composites/fillings. Two are in front, in visible areas where I had chipped my teeth. Dr. Arsiwala did a perfect job and they only ended up charging me for 3 of the fillings because the 4th one was very small. The dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth was great as well. I've moved around a lot in the past 5 years and have been to different dentists each year. This was the best visit I've had in a long time. read more

I set up an appointment with the pediatric dentist, Dr. Siegel. Wasn't sure what to expect (he looks so young online!) but everything was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door. This was my first time taking my children to the dentist (3 kids all under the age of 4; and I'm 7 months pregnant) so I was a little nervous as to what to expect and how I was going to keep everyone in line and calm by myself. My son has a tendency to overreact to things and was telling me he didn't want to go to the dentist from the moment he woke up that morning. The office is small and they are able to block off an entire hour for a family-style appointment and it was such a huge stress reliever because I didn't have to worry about where child #1 had run off to while holding a baby and corralling child #2, etc. (You mommas probably know exactly what I mean). Since we were the only ones in the building it was completely doable as they took child #1 back to do x-rays and I could stay with child #2&3 in the play room, then stay with child #2 for his x-rays as they started cleaning child #1's teeth. They have TV's with Disney Jr. playing so my kids were so excited to just watch TV while the Dental Assistants cleaned away. Everything was so clean and immaculate. Dr. Siegel was wonderful; so down to earth and easy to talk to. It was an amazingly positive experience that was unexpected. My kids left with all kinds of goodies that they couldn't wait to show their daddy and they are excited to go back. What more could you ask for? read more

TL:DR: Great Staff, Great Doctor, Great Equipment, and Great follow up since appointment. The Staff: Tracy the receptionist met me with a warm and friendly greeting. We carried a light hearted and fun conversation making the wait smooth and easy. Dr. Vakil informed me what was going to be done before, she met with me, while she met with me, and after. Also that if at any time anything was uncomforable, because I was in pain, they would make sure I was comfortable. Norma The Hygienist was very friendly, had a great young energy, was conversational, explained what was going to happen and why they were doing it. The equipment: It seemed light years more advanced that my previous dentist. Their The Office: It looked & smelled clean, each room had a pleasant aroma that carried through but didn't overpower. My husband and I moved from Round Rock/Austin area and we had the same Dentist for over 6 years. I was very nervous about going to a new Dentist as I am usually very nervous. My first exam was easy brezzy and then came back for my cleaning. I recently moved here from Plano in North Texas and was very nervous about replacing the outstanding dentist I had there. Well I have to say that during my time of need this office has more than exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and professional and will go out of there way to help you any way that they can. They office is very nice and clean with the latest technology in place. Also my dentist is outstanding Dr. Arsiwala has a great personality and manner with her patients. I was pleased and surprised to receive a follow up call from her personally after the first visit about my wisdom tooth. We go to Woods Dental and our kids go to their kiddie side - My Kids Dentist next door. We are happy, so are kids. Staff - Everyone seems happy, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere there is great. You don't feel worried or stressed at all. Dentist - My dentist is Dr. A. She is just like a neighbor down the street - very friendly and nice. I have a page-long "watch list"... She is not pushy at all. In fact, she tells me which one is the most urgent to do and just let the others parts wait until I am ready, mentally and financially. Environment - The clinic is bright and clean. Very nice. However, when doctor and staff are friendly, they tend to come to you several times during the visit, which drags the visit time longer than I expected. I expect to go in, check up, talk about the finding, teeth cleaning and leave. But then I have to wait for each personal to come in and out, wait between each one, and chat (this part I can't help). In the end it takes easily 1.5 to 2 hours for some reason. Probably just me. :D read more

I recently had my 2nd visit to this office and will be changing dentist. It's really too bad because I like the front office staff and the x-ray technician but was less then impressed with my "cleaning" if you could call it that. 6 months ago when they couldn't talk me into the "deep root cleaning" I needed they spent 15 minutes rinsing my mouth with high powered water and billed my insurance for a "cleaning". This time when I again refused to give them the needed $616.00 for a "deep root cleaning" they refused to clean my teeth at all. It was explained to me that any cleaning would not be beneficial! What dentist actually uses those words?! I would not recommend this place to someone I didn't like! read more
