It is a nice-looking magazine with a modern design and glossy pages. About half of the magazine is "society pages" of some kind--pictures of "It" people at parties, that kind of thing. Which is fine, but not that interesting unless you are in that circle of people. The rest of the magazine is based on style, fashion, weddings and what is current. The cover is usually a "celebrity" that is from St. Louis or is somehow prominent in the St. Louis area. They have had some decent covers, like Jim Edmonds. I have to be honest and say I don't recognize most of the people featured, but it's nice that they keep the focus on St. Louis.

ALIVE is a free St. Louis publication which is fun to read. It promotes St. Louis well and tries to…read moregive a complete picture on what is hip and happening in St. Louis. It won't shatter your world, but on some level, it's just fun to page through just to see what's going on.

I have "unsubscribed" from every individual email I've received. I've emailed them. I've communicated through their web form. I'M STILL GETTING EMAILS LITERALLY EVERY DAY. I would not suggest giving this company your email address. This is clear harassment, and they just don't care.

Today I stayed with it, woman took my order. I asked why online didn't work I was told my current subscription had not expired I was calling too early. She mentioned that were updating their web site. So I paid full price, there may be a promo going on, and the technology is out of step with their subscription efforts.
