These company is incredible! They have a live person answering the phone. Who has that kind of service anymore? I have never seen a sign company move so fast on a project. They got a rendering, permit, fabrication and installation of my sign done really FAST. I received weekly updates and my salesman keep me up to date the whole time my sign was being worked on. I looked at a lot of sign companies out there. None of them could do everything in house. What really sold me was their amazing showroom. It has every imaginable sign in the world that can be done. I actually got to see what my sign would look like before Signs Manufacturing started fabrication. All the other sign companies offered me a piece of paper to look at. What a pleasant experience working with Signs Manufacturing, and most of all my consultant Nancy McCord. I had called many places, some with no response so when I called SM and I was transferred to Nancy whom exudes care for customers and really believes in her company. She has been so helpful in expediting the process and getting back to me in record timing (which pleases my bosses). The quote was fairly priced and they were able to get it to me in less than a week including weekend days. Our process is not complete yet but I certainly look forward to the next steps in finishing the process. I am a AGM of a growing restaurant group in Fort Worth. Our 6 figure sign project has been nothing more than a complete shady headache to say the least. Had them replace our existing 16ft X 10ft sigh, paint box. And also install a new 16 X 8 double sided LED. All installed weeks ago now, still have no way to program it. Messages appearing are not what we asked. Feb accounts for 65-70 of our yearly business. So begged and pleaded to finish install. Was completely ignored by Tim. Half of one side has some tech issue they told us when they installed. Which at the time said would be fixed the next day/ never happened. So one side you can't even make out what it says. Cover gone on side of our box. Asked for a paint sample so painter we had hired could paint light poles to match. Never happened. That was weeks ago. And now painter says it will be 60 days before he can come back. Along the process MANY shady, purposely not mentioning VERY expensive details/ all I can say is be VERY careful when it comes to the numbers!!! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE we have had with ANY manufacturer. The sales person, NANCY IS HORRIBLE, highly aggressive and untruthful. She never contacted us between the proofs and installation. They just showed up unannounced before our store construction was complete, didn't call any one to say they were coming, and started hanging the sign. I just happened to go by to check on the construction and there he was. I told him it was wrong and we were not ready for installation.The sign was made much smaller than their proofs showed. It was hung improperly with very little spacing, the channel letters are hung crooked, and the lights don't work. It's a very bad job. I called Nancy who never came to the phone and after 20 minutes I was disconnected. We paid a 50% deposit but I refused to give them the the balance until it is built like the proofs, hung properly, and WORKS. Nancy has sent a man with a huge truck to my store to harass me wanting the money or he is going to take the sign . She has sent me hateful intimidating texts, and has called demanding payment for this sub standard quality sign. She has threatened me with a lien against my business, and NOW they have FILED A LIEN Against a piece of property I don't even own with a letter of extortion for money from the property owner When the sign is correctly built, hung properly, WORKS and the lien is released against the property owner I will pay the balance that we owe. Until then it's a waste of your time, energy, and resources for you to continue this harassment. read more

Horrible experience Zero stars! Customer service is horrible and I spoke with the so called owner JWatson. Sales person said 1 thing owner says another. $490 dispute and they could care less that I am not satisfied!! Bulbs out on sign! Salesman knew that. But the owner keeps saying he didn't contract for that. However he contracted for electrical and a city permit which he says he didn't need. So when i asked about that he said "well we didn't contract for that. Read the fine print people are dishonest! Of course the fine print was attached to what i signed!!! Gonna call consumer justice! Oh and there are several Signs Manufacturing some actually stopped by my place of business, I didn't go soliciting a new sign. The guys stoped and said "I CAN FIX THAT" beware. And I never got an apology from Management but Im sure I will get one on here. To make it appear that they are taking care of things. Beware! Wish I had read the others before I purchased! Some have the same shifty business dealings. Lesson learned and it says A+ rating. How. They are unwilling to do anything for anyone according to the reviews. Read all of them. read more

Laura Stafford did an incredible job, she went beyond what expectation to make sure your'e 200% satisfy in prices, quality, time manner. Signs manufacturing is happy to take your money and never actually produce anything. If you are a small business limited on resources I would not use this company. James Watson is the owner, most other positive reviews are from his friends. This page has very few legitimate reviews from customers. His company promised one thing and never delivered. 30 days to wait for a quote when the website says 24-hour quotes, then they billed $1000 for the "Time and effort it took to get the quote" The invoice states "Site survey, permit filing, and artwork" The site survey was a google image from google maps, The permit was filed with the wrong address and wrong business, as well as the artwork was not what we had discussed" read more

I hope people read reviews on this company before they even consider doing business with them. I ordered couple of signs and few other decals. This is the worst ever company to deal with and if you hear a name Tim Durkin,STAY AWAY. He promises something and does something. I was unfortunate to end up giving our company's sign to him which was a delayed delivery to start with. The designer guy was nice though, worked patiently with me. But once the deal is signed, you are at their mercy. He promised a timeline and other things like a free banner and everytime you call, he is about invoicing everything and will try to sell stuff. I was stupid enough not to read through the document properly. They installed two signs on my property and gave just one banner and said that he promised just one banner. He was ready to install another one but with a cost :). He didn't want to come and install the decals and if they have to come install a decal, guess what another invoice that would cost as much as sign installation..lol. My place was running without a sign for couple of weeks as we decided the open date based on his false promises. I had to call his manager to sort out things and signs were fast tracked. They did my work over two days after waiting for an extended time. He never return your calls once the deal is signed and you can wait for your signs, kicking up yourself how you ended up with these unprofessionals I recommend to STAY AWAY from these guys. Even if I have to give a little more, I'd go with people who really know how to do business in a honest way and work professionally I wanted to give half star rating for this company and that too for the designer I worked with but Yelp won't let me :( read more

If there was a zero, I would give it. They charged a significant amount of money for an office sign. We were not happy with it and asked them to remedy the sign. They refused unless we agreed to pay an additional $1195. We had already paid over $3,000 for this interior lettering. We tried to resolve it with them amicably, but they refused. They even charged the balance without our approval! I would CAUTION anyone before doing business with this company. read more

One star is too much. Every step of the process, Juan Carlos Martin lied to me. About the price (pretty sure it was WAY over-priced, and I got fleeced), the process, and especially the time frame. They had almost two months to get my sign put up before I opened, and they could not get it done before my opening date, costing me customers and money. They waited until the last minute to manufacture the sign and, literally the last possible day to install the sign. Of course, on the day of the installation (the day that I opened), the crane wasn't working and the inspector wasn't there...excuse, after excuse, after excuse. Terrible experience all the way around. Juan Carlos finally responded to an email (instead of ducking my calls and emails as per usual), and gave me an incorrect phone number for his boss. I found the correct number and called the owner/boss, James Watson. He basically act as if he'd never heard of me or my situation, and then he blamed the City of Dallas for them not getting my sign done in two months. When you spend over $13,000 for signage, you would expect a little better service. Typical result, though...just more excuses. Worst customer service and product delivery I've ever experienced. Juan Carlos Martin and James Watson absolutely do not care about your business, and they especially do not care about YOUR time frame. Signs Manufacturing is a joke...get your sign somewhere else from someone who will actually care about your needs. read more
