I asked our vet if she knew of anyone who was good with animal behavior and that's how I found out about Kassidy. Not only has our dog improved but she has also trained us. We started with a few weekly sessions but because of her background we realized she needed more training as did we. She spent the week with Kassidy playing, learning and having fun. After a week we really noticed a difference and so thankful for that. We still have a long way to go but I know Kassidy will be there to help us all.

On Oct. 1, 2020, Erin DeMars made FALSE allegations of abuse against La Tour and Elk River Kennels. She stated that her bulldog Olive had blood all over it and was bleeding when she picked it up. In Nov. 2020, a district court Judge determined that DeMars' statements were fabricated and grossly exaggerated. The judge issued a restraining order against Erin DeMars to stop her defamation against the La Tours and their business, Elk River Kennels. Be sure that this is a very reputable dog trainer and your dog will be well cared for while staying at Elk River Kennels. We board our dogs here too when we go on vacation and they've never had any issues.

Was referred last summer to Kimball. They couldn't see my 2.5 lb Yorkie for an eye issue. This yr I was told we have 3 emergency spaces daily. But you must call right at 8. Missed spaces 2 days in a row. 3rd day I was told we close at noon so no appointments. I said I would try again on Friday and was told only one appointment available and I should call around to other clinics. So the message that 'we see new clients " same day emergency is as far from the truth as it gets. When you travel to another state and stay for 5 months and you have a dog or even a cat your vet options are limited and frightening.
