The MCC thrift store in mission is located just off the main road, and has a moderately sized parking lot. When there is sales they will sometimes be advertised on the outside of the building on signs. There is a large variety of kitchen and house decor items. Along with a big selection of books that are filled with new and old books. There is a moderate selection of clothing available, from women's to men's and children's. There is plus size and maternity as well. It is a smaller store so there is not the largest selection but I would consider browsing the racks. This thrift store unlike so many is still in my opinion lower in price that many. This low price point makes the products available to a wide range of household incomes which I believe is an important feature of this store. It is also a two story store, upstairs you will find furniture, house trinkets, toys, garden and house diy products. It is worth the browse.

While the staff is always friendly this location as well as the Abbotsford one still subscribe to the nasty old habit of turning rude at closing time. Nothing worse than being engrossed in looking at neat old items and suddenly the lights turn out. I actually did not shop here at all for over two years as my wife and I were about to leave one evening before Christmas and spied a small box of vintage ornaments in the showcase near the cash. We did not want to look, we wanted to buy them right then as in pay and leave. The staff said they were closed and to comeback the next day. All they had to do was slide the door open at lift them out but they refused. There were still other people in line to pay and we would have had to wait anyhow. We left all of our purchases and went home. Checked early the next day and the ornaments were gone. The irony was when I checked the time outside it was still minutes until their closing time. I wrote to their head office later that day but received no reply. Decent store, terrible customer service.

While I wouldn't classify Lolly's as a shop for the frugally minded, the quality of the clothes, and timelessness of the pieces that I have purchased there makes it worth the higher pricetag. I have gone there to be accessorized for an evening out (in my evening wear, hair done) and found the staff to be positively delightful - they had fun with me, chose the perfect accessories, and even steamed my dress for me.
