    Lamb Tenderloin Kebab
    Qinyue H.

Really solid restaurant -- it made me realize how easy it is to feel totally satisfied here! I'd give the food a solid 8.5+/10. The lamb and veal liver were especially great -- super fresh and tender. Just a bit of seasoning and grilling was enough to bring out the full flavor. Loved that pure, meaty taste. The crispy manta also hit the spot -- that comforting, carb-filled bite is just what you need sometimes. I'm not usually a big fan of shurpa soup, but it paired surprisingly well with the richness of the meat. The flavors really balanced out. As for the vibe, it depends on personal preference. It was a bit quiet when I visited, but I've heard Silk Road gets packed during Uzbek holidays. I'd say this place wins hearts mainly with its flavors, not the service or decor. Bottom line: if I'm ever craving lamb, this is 100% my go-to spot.

So fresh and so clean, clean.... Midday on a Monday, we had many seating choices. The server was attentive and responsive. He was familiar with the food and showed my husband how they prepare the coffee. He also brought both sauces to go with our entrees. We agreed that the food was healthy and filling. The dessert was perfect. My husband enjoyed the vegetarian selections.

Love trying food from places all over the world. So I was delighted to find this Uzbekistan restaurant. The interior is really nice, you as if you walk into a different world, so to speak. It is spacious, and after us it filled up quick. The service is good, but a bit slow, due to the many guests and the shortage of personnel. Eating Uzbekistan food is a new experience for me, and overall I liked it, I expected it to be more flavorful though in regards of seasoning. The Turkish coffee was great and a good way to end the night. Would love to come back and try some other dishes. The portions are big, so I recommend to order different items and share. I had the Plov an totally forgot to make a picture of it.

The food here is absolutely delicious! It seems very authentic too. It is great to do family style here and it is easy to try a bunch of different dishes. The salads were some of my favorite dishes. The service was great and it is a great spot for lunch or dinner. I brought all my kids here and they liked it so they are pretty kid friendly too.

Delicious authentic food. Very pleasant experience and convenient location. It is a couple blocks from East-West Cultural and Educational Center. I will recommend the restaurant to students and parents there.

This was $3.49 - to get vision of the size it's about 6" x 3"

It was ok, everything I got was of a much smaller size than I expected, and I'm not a big eater or anything. This picture is the Kutabi w/ fresh herbs. It was the size of half a pita - a small pita. For $3.49 I'm expecting at least the size of a whole pita. It looked like someone ate half of my food

The soup was delicious. I would come here every single day if I could just to have the soup. The paulow was good and I really like the tenderness of the meat. The Samsa was delicious crispy and flaky and the sauce that came with it was really really really yummy. I loved the decor and the presentation of the Turkish coffee was so adorable. Service was also really nice!! They also have a space for people to pray.

Ordered plov and lamb tenderloin kebab. Tasty meal I usually combine the two for more lamb in the plov.

i have been to silk road many times and go back because they consistently provide good food with food flavor and large portions i have previously enjoyed the naan, pulav and dumplings - all of which were good this time ordered the pulav, naan, eggplant salad, greek salad and khachapurri the pulav, naan, eggplant salad, and greek salad were really good. the khachapurri was alright

I looooove this place, I wish we had discovered it sooner. The juiciest chicken kabob in the world, so flavorful. I'm so excited that they deliver. Yummy manti dumplings (beef, pumpkin, and potato), fried and not fried. Didn't love the plov, but everything else, and the super fun atmosphere (complete with color changing lights!) was great and homey. I'm not Uzbeki, but the food still felt similarly as comfy as Pakistani food to me.

Very interesting hole in the wall. Place was dead when we went earlier this week. I really did not like our server. The experience and this review would have been better had I had someone else. As someone with a life threatening food allergy, I asked if anything had nuts? The server responded by saying no but we use oil and I said okay what kind? And she said I don't know it's in a big box no one knows, implying she would not find out for me. Okay. Fine. I wasn't going to ruin the night for the people I was with so I just took my chances assuming no Uzbek place would cook with peanut oil Thankfully I was right. When the food finally came out it was surprisingly delicious. I got plov and we had a bunch of apps. I would consider going back if I had a different server next time.

    Do they deliver?

Yes they do through Uber Eats, Postmates, Doordash, and Grubhub.

    Can I byob?

Yes, yes you can. That said, they now offer beer and wine. The wine is very affordable. When we saw the list, we thought the prices were a bit high for a glass of wine--around $14 if I recall. Then the waitress explained that was for the entire…

Extremely Disappointed -- Loyal Customer Treated Poorly:…read more I've been a loyal customer at Yesh for years, even held my Sheva Brachos here and used to come weekly. But after today's experience, I won't be returning unless the situation is made right. The person preparing my shawarma was clearly new and overfilled the salad, leaving no room for the full portion of meat I paid for. I politely asked her to remove some salad so she could add the rest of the meat, and before she could even respond, the mashgiach abruptly stepped in and refused in a rude, dismissive way. His tone was completely uncalled for, especially when I was calmly trying to explain that I just wanted what I paid for. Not only was I shorted on the meat, but I was treated with total disrespect. That kind of behavior drives away loyal customers. The mashgiach was out of line and should not be interacting with paying customers, frankly, he should be replaced if Yesh wants to keep its good name and stay in business. At the very least, I expect Yesh to make this right with a proper shawarma meal, meat-filled as it should have been, along with the fries and drink I ordered, on the house. That's the bare minimum for how this situation should be handled. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it.
