When I arrived, I asked the older lady with blonde hair behind the counter if they had a specific item (which they did). She mumbled something under her breath, and I couldn't hear her. The employee working behind the counter questioned my 26-year-old boyfriend's ID, immediately concluded it was fake, and called the police without involving a manager or taking any reasonable steps to verify the identification first. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the employee escalated it unnecessarily. When the responding officers confirmed that his ID was completely valid, the employee's response was, "So you're not going to do anything?" Even after being proven wrong, she still appeared determined to have a paying customer arrested. That was honestly the most shocking part of the entire experience. Mistakes can happen, especially with different forms of identification such as enhanced driver's licenses. However, there is a significant difference between asking questions or involving a manager and immediately calling law enforcement while falsely accusing a customer of using a fake ID. He was treated like a criminal over a legitimate ID, and it was embarrassing, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. This experience reflects a serious lack of training, professionalism, and customer service. There are too many dispensaries with knowledgeable, respectful staff to tolerate being treated this way. We will be taking our business elsewhere, and I will no longer be recommending The Flowery to friends or family.

I knew exactly what I wanted - Rove 510 battery. Instead, Moe kept pushing me toward a Fernway battery. I told him what I wanted, but he insisted the Fernway was better. It was more expensive, but I figured maybe he knew what he was talking about. It had a cap, seemed more hygienic, so I trusted his recommendation and bought it. I also picked up a Jaunty Green Crack cartridge. A few days later, something happened that could have been seriously dangerous. The battery was OFF and sitting in my husband's pocket. Suddenly we started smelling something burning. We looked all over trying to figure out where it was coming from until my husband realized his chest was getting hot. We pulled the vape out of his pocket, and the entire glass cartridge had shattered. Oil was everywhere - inside his pocket, all over the battery - and the device was literally sizzling and smoking. We ended up throwing it into a bottle filled with liquid just to stop it from smoking. It was honestly terrifying to think about what could have happened if we hadn't noticed it when we did. That night I went back to the dispensary and spoke to Moe again, and somehow that experience was even worse than the first. He could not have cared less. No concern. No apology. No "I'm so sorry that happened." Nothing. He basically shrugged his shoulders and acted like it wasn't his problem. When I asked to speak with a manager, he told me nobody was available and that it wouldn't matter anyway because they'd just tell me the same thing. Look, I understand products can fail. That's not even what upset me the most. It's the complete lack of human decency. You convince me to buy something I didn't even come in for, charge me more for it, it fails in a way that could have seriously injured someone, and your response is essentially, "Not my problem." You can't even stand behind your own words. At the very least, replace the destroyed products, offer to contact the manufacturer, or show even an ounce of empathy. Instead, I walked out feeling like once they had my money, I no longer mattered. There are so many dispensaries in Queens that actually value their customers. I chose this one on a whim, and it was a huge mistake. Between the pushy sales tactics, the lack of product knowledge, and some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time, I will never be back. This experience just left me with such an icky feeling. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere that actually cares about the people walking through the door.
