    The prison Mac n cheese

The music is amazing, nice seating arrangement. Server was stretched thin, you can tell she hated it there. She was not friendly at all but she was on the bar and waiting tables by herself so I get it. The salmon was FANTASTIC . The sides were disgusting. The instant mashed potato soup was not it and made my stomach turn from just looking at it . Then the Mac and cheese was worse than Kraft and I didn't think it was possible. They must've used the cheapest grade of cheese they could find smh. Wings, quesadillas and asparagus were great as well. Do NOT waste your time on the mashed potatoes and Mac bc you will be disappointed. STICK TO THE FINGER/BAR FOODS. You'll have a great time but know what to order

I thoroughly enjoy stopping by Silks when I'm in town. The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! They're also pretty so that makes the experience even better lol! The food is ok...but I mainly go for the drinks and fellowship.

Not really a sports bar in the traditional sense. More of a chic lounge. Drinks were good.

Pappas in Cockeysville came up in a couple of influencers' lists, so we made the 1 1/2 hour drive north to experience it for ourselves. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday morning and chose to sit on the restaurant side (versus the sports bar side). Our meal started with soft rolls right out of the oven and vinegar-y cucumbers. My wife had some them while I passed on them for I don't like cucumbers. Obviously, we later ordered the single crab cake entree with two sides ($33.99). I chose the fries and the up-charge for a Caesar salad while my wife picked the coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes did not disappoint! Even though it was a hot day outside, they kept the restaurant very cold. After we ate, I didn't notice it as much because I was so full. A final note is the lunch crowd started coming in around 12:15pm.

Locales and visitors enjoying a Monday dinner - crab cakes or pasta seemed to be popular. The latter may be attributed to the $2 pasta discount on Mondays. The quintessential basket on the table of stale cracker packets and tiny plastic containers of butter probably sitting out 24/7. Meh- why "Oprah" would order her crab cakes from here when the crab is not from Maryland, right? Once I heard that news from the waiter ( I asked, it was not volunteered) I opted for the local soft shell crab special. ( despite it not being season, I should have known better. It was a puny crab with hardly any meat and it was not properly cleaned either. Sides of overcooked brocolli and asparagus. Baked potatoes looked liked yesterday's overcooked option. My colleagues enjoyed the crab cakes which were large portions- should be for $40+ each. Service was friendly, food took too long- it was a long wait for mediocre overpriced food.

This was a nice and spacious event space with high top tables and chairs in addition to a long bar area. There were flat screen TVs mounted on the walls, so checking out the latest sporting events was not an issue. We got our bingo cards and dabblers and looked over the menu to order. There were two menus; the brunch menu and the traditional CVP menu. We got something from both: the CVP wings (mild), with tater tots from the traditional menu and paired it with the bottomless brunch drink package, which included your choice of house Bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver or Natural Light draft beer (you have to stick with one choice). The servers were pleasant and we placed our orders at the bar. The food arrived in about 30 minutes, but was warm, not as hot as I wanted. The wings were cooked well with a mild buffalo sauce and the tater tots came in a small metal bucket; enough for up to 4 people. They were fresh and not greasy, just wished they were hotter. For the bottomless brunch drink package, I chose the screwdriver and a pleasant server came over to our table and put a wristband on me so that I could walk up to the bar for refills. The vodka was well vodka, but I didn't have a headache the next day, so that was good! The upstairs area seems to be an event space. The downstairs area was the main bar with tables as well. All in all, CVP was ok for the event I attended and may visit again in the future.

It honestly feels like you've been transported to a pub in Ireland (minus the handful of loud college kids). I'm a big fan of the decor and the fireplace that they frequently light throughout the colder months. Noelle is my favorite bartender here (Hey, Noelle!) and she could make you anything your heart desires. I'll admit, I've never once had the food here but the drinks are always on point and the service is fast and friendly. They have a free parking lot in the back for customers which is super convenient in this area. They also have some outdoor seating in the back too which is a new addition since Covid times. I'm not a huge fan of Towson or Towson bars in general (at least not anymore) but if I'm around, Kent House is the only place to be in my opinion. Cheers!

Service was great and our waitress did a great job keeping the drinks flowing! I opted for the chicken and waffles to which I wasn't super pleased. I chose this dish because they mentioned they bread and season their chicken in house so I thought oh this must be amazing, however it was bland in my opinion. The waffle was great and so were the mimosas and sangria! I was a little caught off guard that they served the mimosas in a pint glass (that beer is served in) and with ice. Very interesting combo as I've never seen that before. They were accommodating however with providing us with a wine glass after asking. I also had the chowder which was good. It could've used more seasoning. Overall great environment and vibe - I just would go for more basic meals here if I visited again.

When he finally did, the cocktails were easily the worst we've ever had -- completely undrinkable. This isn't a one-off; it's the third time he's served us, and every time the service and drinks have been awful. He seemed out of it -- distracted, unprofessional, maybe even under the influence. To top it off, he served my drink in a dirty glass. When I asked for a replacement, he just poured the same disgusting drink into another cup instead of remaking it. I had to insist he start over. It's such a shame because the bartenders on the other side of The Point are excellent -- friendly, attentive, and professional. This one bartender, however, drags down the entire experience and the bar's reputation. I won't be coming back.

We sat at the end of the bar and had to wait a few minutes to order. They don't have a beer menu, so you will have to eyeball the drafts as you come into the bar. The music was loud old-skool hip hop, which I love. There was also some great R&B. They have two pool tables constantly occupied by players who had brought their own queues. It was fun to watch. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, the husband ordered wings and french fries. The chicken quesadilla was delicious, served with salsa and sour cream. The wings were a little dry but the fries were great. I was going to give Freddie's 4 stars until I woke up the next morning and saw the 18% gratuity charged to my bill. I had not seen it and had tipped 20% so my server got a large unintended tip. I will not be coming back to Freddie's but at least now I know how they roll.
