It's time for an update!…read more I want to start by saying if you have yet to come what are you waiting for?! But in all seriousness we have done a lot up here since I put the farm on the map. Lets start with our new kitchen! We have built a beautiful kitchen which has helped serve some delicious burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, fries & grilled cheese for you to munch on. While waiting for your order you can walk to the other side of the building to grab a craft beer from Fieldcrest Brewing Company. We do not yet sell ice cream but the plan is to have it in 2023! We do sell cider donuts and s'mores in our country store to help with that sugar craving. We have a stage for our live music! Starting mid July we start our summer concert series which has been a huge hit with the community. I personally love seeing our field covered with lawn chairs and smiles every weekend. We provide lots of games for the kids such as sport balls, tumbling towers, and disc golf while you are enjoying the tunes of your favorite musicians! And when you need a break you can take a tractor ride around the farm! During the week we have provide sunset yoga as well as farmers markets! What better way to enjoy the views than supporting your local community vendors and or taking in some relaxing yoga with friends and family. We still have all your favorite apples for picking AND we planted 250 more trees with plans this fall to plant even more! This will help us prolong our season to Columbus Day Weekend a few years from now. Please do not climb on the trees. We do provide apple pickers for those hard to reach apples. Any broken branches could increase the risk of disease and or kill the tree. The farm has now also turned into a venue for events! We have had a few weddings now this year, including Dan and his new wife Brooke! So if you are looking for a wedding venue why not here! Please scroll through the many pictures to see some of their pictures for a visual. Some things you may notice when coming up, we no longer have the pumpkin patch and the cows have been sold. We have butchered two of the cows so if you are looking for some grass fed beef just find Dan or myself and we'll let you know what we have. A couple reminders: Please drive slow. This helps keep the dust at a minimal, our neighbors will appreciate it, and with all the children running around we want to keep everyone safe. We do not allow outside food and alcohol beverages. Please leave your coolers at home. We are a pet friendly farm! Please pick up after your furry friends after they do their business. This is a farm so you will come across bees also enjoying the apple. Look before you step when picking apples. Could easily step on a fallen apple and roll an ankle. We do encourage exploration! The view from the upper hill is amazing and we recommend taking a walk to enjoy the scenery. And without saying please pick up after yourself, a clean farm is a happy farm. However, we went at the end of September, and the place was horribly overrun with wasps. They're literally everywhere. It made it hard to sit and want to enjoy your drink. My drink was absolutely delicious I will say. The pumpkins were slim pickings which was a little disappointing and there were next to no flowers to pick either. It wasn't a bad visit, but I would probably try other places prior to suggesting coming back here.

And I stumbled upon this place. It couldn't have been more perfect! The day started at Castle Hill Farm (Hayride/Corn Maze and Pumpkin Picking), then we came home had lunch and carved 2 glorious pumpkins! Entry to the festival was 1 carved pumpkin/kid +1 dollar for the candle. Entry included 10 Trick or Treat Stations, games, balloon animals,bouncy house obstacle course (what?), dj, hula hoop contest and of course there was food for an additional fee, a very reasonable fee. All the kids were dressed up, it was fantastic. But when night hit is when it raised the festivities another notch... all the hundreds of pumpkins were lit up for viewing and it was pretty freakin cool if I do say so myself. What was even better we were able to retrieve our pumpkins at the end of the night. FYI: THIS MAY BE THE LAST YEAR AS THEIR FUNDING "IS DRYING UP". THAT WOULD BE SUCH A SHAME.

The entrance fee is well worth the time spent here and the excitement you'll see on your toddler's face the entire time. Though my toddler wasn't old enough for some of the activities she managed to run around the entire farm, through corn mazes, see all the animals, and pumpkin patch nonstop. There are food trucks as well if you want to really spend the day here which is a cool perk. The grounds are very clean and safe and there are workers monitoring the area nonstop and even parking attendants! I cannot wait to take my daughter back we both had so much fun.

The entrance to the farm kind of sneaks up on you fast; the whole place appears much smaller on the outside, but once you pull in and get to the gravel parking lot, you realize how much bigger it is inside. There was live outdoor music playing and kids laughing and cheering while playing with the nearby caged animals. This place was a great vibe. We weren't particularly hungry so I can't comment on the food, but we did take a walk around and paid for a quart box for blueberry picking. This was our first time and we had no idea what we were doing, but soon enough we filled up our little box very nicely. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

If you're going to go on a hike in 29 degree weather, might as well do it up and hang with Alpacas!…read moreBarb led our group of 10 (6 kids, 4 adults). We each had an alpaca (two llamas) and hiked to to the top of a beautiful mountain with a great view! She led us down and we were completed in 2 hours. She is a kind soul who led the children around the farm and allowed them to hold chickens, pet goats, and observe a 40 pound turkey. She answered every question they had and it was overall, a great experience! She takes a donation for her time and it is well worth it. We plan to come back again in the spring when it is warmer and the view changes with the season.
