They've had a problem with invasive woody suckers, which they've cut down and just left on the ground making walking even more treacherous. We actually found some good ones among the pre-cut which, judging by the size of the trunks, were way overgrown trees cut down to 7-8 ft. (very heavy). They were trimmed, too. Don't waste your time with "cut your own" or just go somewhere where the farmers take care of their crop.
