It's time for an update!…read more I want to start by saying if you have yet to come what are you waiting for?! But in all seriousness we have done a lot up here since I put the farm on the map. Lets start with our new kitchen! We have built a beautiful kitchen which has helped serve some delicious burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, fries & grilled cheese for you to munch on. While waiting for your order you can walk to the other side of the building to grab a craft beer from Fieldcrest Brewing Company. We do not yet sell ice cream but the plan is to have it in 2023! We do sell cider donuts and s'mores in our country store to help with that sugar craving. We have a stage for our live music! Starting mid July we start our summer concert series which has been a huge hit with the community. I personally love seeing our field covered with lawn chairs and smiles every weekend. We provide lots of games for the kids such as sport balls, tumbling towers, and disc golf while you are enjoying the tunes of your favorite musicians! And when you need a break you can take a tractor ride around the farm! During the week we have provide sunset yoga as well as farmers markets! What better way to enjoy the views than supporting your local community vendors and or taking in some relaxing yoga with friends and family. We still have all your favorite apples for picking AND we planted 250 more trees with plans this fall to plant even more! This will help us prolong our season to Columbus Day Weekend a few years from now. Please do not climb on the trees. We do provide apple pickers for those hard to reach apples. Any broken branches could increase the risk of disease and or kill the tree. The farm has now also turned into a venue for events! We have had a few weddings now this year, including Dan and his new wife Brooke! So if you are looking for a wedding venue why not here! Please scroll through the many pictures to see some of their pictures for a visual. Some things you may notice when coming up, we no longer have the pumpkin patch and the cows have been sold. We have butchered two of the cows so if you are looking for some grass fed beef just find Dan or myself and we'll let you know what we have. A couple reminders: Please drive slow. This helps keep the dust at a minimal, our neighbors will appreciate it, and with all the children running around we want to keep everyone safe. We do not allow outside food and alcohol beverages. Please leave your coolers at home. We are a pet friendly farm! Please pick up after your furry friends after they do their business. This is a farm so you will come across bees also enjoying the apple. Look before you step when picking apples. Could easily step on a fallen apple and roll an ankle. We do encourage exploration! The view from the upper hill is amazing and we recommend taking a walk to enjoy the scenery. And without saying please pick up after yourself, a clean farm is a happy farm. We learned a ton about the owls and got to interact with them up close- as well as getting some epic pictures! The outdoor play area was really great for kids and I can't wait to come back with my grandkids. I was totally overwhelmed by the variety of animals they had- totally unexpected for a fairly small operation. We interacted with other employees as well including Captain Brian and Ron(?) who gave us a wonderful tour of several areas and animals. I have read some bad reviews here about enclosure sizes- of course we would all love to see these creatures running free in the wild, but many (most?) of these animals are injured and cannot survive in the wild. Others (Diego) have had their enclosure size limited (prescribed) by veterinarians to minimize additional strains on their injuries. I was especially moved by the way every employee I saw interacted with each animal. They respected them, spoke to each animal by name, and showed genuine love and affection for every creature there. I think if I could recommend an improvement, it would be more signage. There were several cages that weren't labeled, or didn't have a backstory listed. I definitely would like more information! Overall, I would definitely support this business and I will be back! I highly recommend you check this gem out too.

We weren't there when the monkey was out but seeing the tiny shed looking environment for it was saddening. they had gators piled in a pond with another sign claiming it was okay. they had giant snakes that couldn't even stretch or move. they had exotic pets with terrible enclosures. I feel bad for the workers that can't fix it because of this stubborn and quite clearly rude owner. So before the owner drops a hate comment on my insanely honest review, how about you put that net worth to use . Very sad to see this wasn't an animal rescue I was really hoping to see, with the 15 guinea pigs crammed in a tiny cage with no enrichment or anywhere to hide :( better luck bringing your family to any other rescue facility. stop ignoring the reviews and go change these animal lives for the better!! who would lie about bad conditions?? They had a stand with a money box and you took your apples and put your money in the box. Unfortunately, I only stopped once because the apples were very soft and we ended up throwing them away. The new owners have done a lovely job with the orchard and have classes there as well as summer concerts. They have a cute gift shop with seasonal fruit, meat and handmade gifts from local artisans. When we arrived though, we found out that the farm is usually closed during the summer (unless you email the owner in advance) and that their website is the only reliable site to see the hours! Luckily, the owner was around and super nice and gave us a tour anyway! There were goats, a mini horse, a mini donkey, and an alpaca herd worthy of the trek we took! All the animals were really friendly, and the owner was incredibly informative. The highlight was probably an extra cuddly mini donkey that ran to my boyfriend and insisted on being pet! Overall - it was a fun adventure and I highly recommend it! I'm sure it's even better once the weather is cooler!
