The silver bullet was OK. I like that they had the smoking side with karaoke, and the non-smoking side with a live band. The drinks were weak/not good but also not expensive. I enjoyed people watching and listening to the music. I was by myself and didn't talk to anyone but the crowd was a nice mix of older and younger people. Some dressed up and others very casual. This Dive Bar gets a 4 stars for ambiance, authenticity, great service, the continuous presence of locals, location, more than ample parking, prices and their standard dive bar selection. I had this place on my list to check out for Karaoke. Although I have not visited them on a Karaoke night (yet), I plan to soon. 5 stars is not enough for this place. This was my first time here. We came for the karaoke on Sunday night. Not knowing what to expect, we were blown away. There was one bartender/waitress and she was so freaking amazing. It was such a great atmosphere. And holy crap you have to order the pretzels, off the charts. Watch your credit card here, the card you have to give to open a tab is not safe. Our tab when signing the check with the tip was not $91. Two drinks no way. When the bartender got our signed receipt was $31. The receipt shown to us when we saw the $91 charge was not the same. Pay cash and hope for the best. read more

Lots of new updates since Covid shut down and new owner! The original smoking side has been expanded, not too smoky, has 2 golf tee games, darts and 3 pool tables, and karaoke every night at 9pm. They opened a new side, the silver bullet saloon and it's 3 times as large a different feel, more upscale and non smoking with live music wed-Saturday. It's my new hang out! My wife and I had a business trip to Lubbock and while there decided to check the night life out and let me tell you the Silver Bullet delivered! On our first entry into the establishment we were a bit concerned but man we could have not been more wrong!! The immediate warm welcome we received to sit and hang out with the locals was amazing. Heard about the place on the radio-Monday night bingo so thought I'd go check the place out. Walking in the door, place was hazy with smoke ( and being a former smoker, that should say something). Margaritas were heavy on sweet n' sour & tasted like a mix. Jalapeno poppers were tiny, shriveled up & wrapped in bacon that was burnt on the bottom-charcoal burnt. My waitress was old school-wonderful & professional. I wished I could have just given her the $25 I spent on drinks & appetizer. 1) Having a "smoking establishment", get better ventilation system or make a "smoking patio". You'll be able to bring in more clientele. 2) Charging $9 for lackluster appetizers that a gradeschooler could make? Train the kitchen help to present the same quality of food they would like to eat. 3) Paying for radio advertising that is outdated (or incorrect) wastes a business' hard earned $$$, and since no one was playing bingo... read more

Used to be one of my favorite places. Came back after the expansion. Ordered some drinks on the left side of the bar and went to sit down. Was told by bartender that we couldn't sit on her side of the bar??? We had to sit on the side of the bar where we ordered the drinks... WTF!?! Used to play pool all the time here but won't be back if I have to worry about where I sit based on where I order a beer. read more

Nice little dive bar. Could use bigger TV's but they have several and pool tables. Wait staff is friendly & prices are reasonable. It is smoking so if you're bothered by that it might not be for you, but it wasn't so bad my lungs hurt. Lots of locals & no frills. Nice divey style bar. read more

You wanna karaoke? This is an option. This is your typical old school bar. Pool tables. Weird tiny dance floor right in front of the stage. I will say they had a huge selections of songs. The drinks were cheap and this is the kinda place that has those condiment cup jello shots. Hole-in -the-Wall is a great description for how you feel here. Pretty good local dive bar type of place-they do allow smoking so if that's not your cup of tea, this isn't the place for you. They do have good specials and everything is over all pretty cheap It's pretty small and seating is limited. There's a couple of pool tables in the back as well! It's pretty much a no frills type of place. The staff is very friendly and it's the type of place where everybody gets to know each other. It is also a well known karaoke spot!
