They take the time to explain the exercises and make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the therapy process. I especially liked how friendly they were and that they gave me helpful exercises tailored to my recovery, along with printed exercise instructions to take home and continue on my own. They also gave me good guidance on safe limits for exercises, which helped me build strength and confidence without overdoing it. Their positive attitude and encouragement made a huge difference in my recovery and kept me motivated every visit. I look forward to continuing to work with people who made me feel better and helped me improve so much. The office staff is also friendly and welcoming, and the clinic is always clean and well organized. I highly recommend California Rehab Milpitas to anyone looking for excellent physical therapy care! - Dylis Young

I was skeptical of this place because of so many bad reviews, but I decided to give it a chance…read moresince my doctor referred me. My first impression was that it was clean, spacious, and quite busy. I was then assigned to Nadia for my evaluation. She was nice, listened carefully, and came up with a treatment plan for my neck. I have cervical radiculopathy and was not able to sleep at night. I also have some facial pain that I believe is caused by my neck. Nadia gave me fairly standard exercises to do at home on the first day. I came back worse the following week, so I shared all my concerns with her. She adjusted my exercises and provided manual therapy on my neck and shoulders. It felt so much better, and I have been improving weekly. Make sure you let them know what is and isn't working so they can adjust your exercises as needed. I am happy that Nadia is my PT, and I am still seeing her.

What impressed me most was how she focused on finding the root cause of my neck and back pain rather than just treating the symptoms. Her treatment plan was highly personalized and tailored to my specific condition. She explained everything clearly, and the exercises and treatments she recommended were both practical and effective. I felt that she genuinely cared about my recovery and adjusted the plan based on how I was progressing. If you're looking for a physical therapist who is knowledgeable, thorough, and truly listens to her patients, I highly recommend Dr. Shaine. While making the appointment, I was already appreciative of how friendly and helpful Regina was. (Regina also helped walk me through the process of billing my health insurance.) During the consultation, I was impressed by how thorough the initial assessment was. I've worked with all three physical therapists on staff -- Doctors Jordan, Julia, and Des. They are all so supportive and caring! The exercises are tough at times, as they should be, but I've never felt pushed too hard (More than a year later, and I jog regularly while keeping up with the strengthening exercises that I learned at R3. No injuries!) Mikey and the rest of the front desk staff are also very friendly and supportive, always ready to greet you (and say goodbye) with a big smile!

My insurance card gives this address, but apparently the office is right next door. So maybe the…read moredoctor was part or now branched to next door.... Dr. J Nguyen is friendly, but when it comes to standard of care, she needs improvement. I have had multiple physicals by various physicians (PCPs or from my past work's in-house Physician, or change of providers). With my new insurance, I was assigned Dr. Nguyen. During my physical, she barely assessed me. She placed the stethoscope ontop of my clothing (the MAs did not offer a gown), she did not wash her hands on front of me (or even use the hand sanitizer) she did not properly exam me. I was not asked any of the traditional or standard questions I've been asked by other Physicians. Given that I'm a new patient, I would expect a more through health history assessment or more questions to be asked- they are lacking OR they simply don't care. There is an abundance of plants in the lobby area, some are dying- not well taken care of. The magazines in the waiting area are old and outdated. The fish tank in the lobby area needs to be cleaned. First impression yells out "sloppy and unattended". There are stacks of PAPER chart in the back as they have not gone electronic. By 2018, I believe there is a law to be electronic for medical records, at least that is what is expected in a SNF, acute, and assisted living. Maybe clinics are an exception? Either way, they are clearly behind in their charting and the clinic is in dire need of TLC. The chairs are torn, the floor needs sweeping and so much more. As for the exam room- it feels like a dirty closet. The area to draw your blood is dark, cold, and cluttered. I wish I was assigned another provider so I will be looking to change providers to someone who actually takes the time to get a better health background. Also, the doctor went on vacation so the one in her replacement would not take new patients. Therefore, you would not only have to wait until she returns, but she would be completely booked when she did return. Overall, I've had multiple providers, as my insurance changes, therefore so does my provider. This place would be at last place.

My husband doesn't like doctors but he's willing to see Dr. Nguyen. I dig adventure sports so I've…read morebeen here on an Urgent basis and for routine illnesses. I think there are pros and cons to everywhere so here's what I've found... PROS: Dr. Nguyen will listen, ask questions and gather information to make the best diagnosis (huge pro) and she seems to really care. She also doesn't get upset if you ask a million questions. Some doctors seem to resent questions but she just goes on to explain more. She also will promptly answer questions I've phoned over to ask. Blood draw/Urine Samples can be done on-site instead of having to go to another lab. They have an EKG machine onsite so you don't have to go to another facility. They are very reasonable if you're late. My husband doesn't ever want to go, so we're always late and they've never turned us away Most of the staff is pretty experienced and they all have a good attitude. I have experienced other places where the staff's attitude makes everything more difficult. Also, they can't always answer every question but they don't try to bluff you and they will follow up with the Dr. to get an answer. I've also seen her staff help find a pediatrician for a couple who'd stopped by with a sick baby. CONS: No onsite Xray services (there are some nearby but it's a hassle to go from place to place) You used to have to wait a few days for strep test results but now she has the ones you know the answer in the office. So I guess this is an old con... Sometimes there's a long wait but I've seen Dr. Nguyen see patients not scheduled because the person was displaying some disturbing symptoms while waiting for their parent/sibling in the waiting room but then again, if it were my parent/sibling looking really sick or limping, I would want a Dr. to be concerned if they saw it. Re: other reviews.... Someone mentioned that they didn't have their insurance card and had a problem. The first time I went in, I brought my info on a post it because I had just started a new job and had fallen off a horse and I didn't have any problems, the staff got on it and there wasn't a delay. Also, at Dr. Nguyen's I got no resistance about my phlebotomy/blood draw requests and everything went super smooth on the first try, unlike other places where they wouldn't listen and I ended up with multiple pokes, bruises and wasted vials. I've received results by phone (by the dr. herself and also her assistants) so maybe you have to ask if you can get your test results by phone? My husband needed a follow up for his results but that was probably because he needed follow up care and a re-test of his blood pressure. All in all- I have been to places where I was seen a little more promptly but I really think that Dr. Nguyen's personality makes up for any inconvenience. I think I could bring anyone to her, even if they're normally afraid of doctors. She and at least one of the medical assistants are also fluent in Vietnamese, if you need that.

Front desk people should be trained on how to address patient's concern and how to communicate better. The flawed check-in policy needs to be reviewed by the management with the front desk people and the therapy staff so that future patients are not subjected to this loophole. I'm also deeply concerned about the hygiene practices. During my appointment, i observed that tables and pillows are being reused for consecutive patients without proper sanitization or a change of protective covers. Specifically, I noted that the massage table did not have its cover changed after the previous patient, and the pillows provided for patient comfort appeared to be shared directly between individuals without any fresh, disposable barriers or laundered pillowcases being replaced in between. As a healthcare/wellness facility, maintaining a sterile and sanitary environment is a fundamental duty of care. Failing to replace table covers and pillowcases between patients poses a significant risk of cross-contamination, including the spread of skin infections, viruses, and bacteria. This practice falls well below standard healthcare regulations and acceptable sanitary guidelines. This is in violation of CDC guidelines, State Licensing and Public Contamination. Dermatological Infections: Transmission of fungal infections (like ringworm), bacterial infections (like Staph or MRSA), and parasitic infestations (like lice or scabies). Respiratory Illnesses: Pillows are directly in the "breathing zone." Unchanged pillow coverings hold respiratory droplets, leaving subsequent patients vulnerable to viruses (like influenza, colds, or COVID-19).

They made every visit seamless, predictable, and comforting during a time when everything else felt overwhelming. From my very first appointment, Dr. Hwang walked me through a clear and thoughtful treatment plan designed specifically for my neck and back injuries. Each visit was consistent, purposeful, and explained in a way that helped me understand how my body was healing. Having worked with many physicians in this field, I can confidently say that these two are truly exceptional. They are patient, thorough, and genuinely take the time to listen to their patients concerns. My parents had been seeing their previous primary care physicians for over three decades, but recently, the service became unacceptable. Dealing with outdated office systems--like being forced to physically pick up a paper referral in 2026, was incredibly frustrating. I had been encouraging my parents to give Dr. Le and Dr. Do a shot because I knew how impressive their practices were. They are modern, tech-savvy, younger physicians who leverage the latest technology to enhance patient care, which I find incredibly important. My parents finally made the switch, and they had their first visit today (June 4th, 2026). I was blown away by the amount of time Dr. Le spent with them; he was diligent in getting to know their health history and provided thoughtful, actionable recommendations.
