Both were excellent medical service. Recently I sent Dr. Samuel Balin a photo of a growth on my lower arm and asked that a previously scheduled appointment for a check-up be moved forward. He got me in to see him in two work days and immediately did a biopsy on the growth. Lab report the next day diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma and I am scheduled for MOHS surgery two weeks later. I called because the bill was $700 more then what I was told it would be. The office staff informed me that the $474 charge was for the "closing of the wound." This unethical jerk wanted to charge my insurance almost a THOUSAND dollars for 8 staples to close a wound HE put in my freaken head!! I have animals and am not a stranger to staple guns. ($25 on Amazon BTW). WHERE THE F DOES THIS A-HOLE GET OFF CHARGING ALMOST $1K TO PUT 8 FLIPPING STAPLES IN NY HEAD TO CLOSE A WOUND HE CREATED!! It's not worth that much nor is it hard to do.
