Please stay away from these swindlers as much as possible. I can't believe they have taken so much from so many HOAs. They broke contact with our HOA in mid-January after we requested up-to-date financial records. Previously, we had mutually decided that we'd be better off as a self-run HOA or finding another Property Management group. Presto! They disappeared, never to be heard from again. After hours on the phone, I found out that they haven't paid the electric, water, or insurance for months, and they haven't paid the pool permit for three years either. This means they were pocketing the monthly dues. They never submitted paperwork to the county regarding the new HOA Leadership to the county. It disturbs me that I didn't research these fools right away. Silver is currently operating as "All Services Pro LLC". They created a new LLC with the help of someone else, but it's them. They kept the same appfolio account, list the same address (the empty office), and have multiple active rental listings. Including one that says "call Jeff". They didn't pay the owner of the house I rent anything for multiple months, didn't do repairs that now have the homeowners association trying to fine him, and who knows what else. They never answer the phone, still waiting on my deposit after 2 .5 months of moving out, I message them weekly for any update on the deposit and the last response was " we will message you when we zelle you the payment". I do not recommend Jeff Polley and SHRE. I feel that Jeff and SHRE have not met our expectations and honored their commitments. We've had a 2 year contract that ended January 2025. He hasn't turned over money, keys, and documents. He hasn't responded to our texts and emails. The AZ Department of Real Estate has an open investigation, and I've filed another. read more

Being a business owner myself, and working with over a 1000 customers a year and dealing with the modern way of people to ecpress their anger for all see. Wish I could put 0 stars. There is something weird going on with Silver Homes. I am a tenant and Margaret Polley from Silver Homes has not responded to me in three months. The owner of the property hasn't been able to get ahold of them either. They have always been terrible about getting things done (it took 1.5 months for them to get us our contract, with us contacting them every few days; and it took 4 months for them to get the tree trimmers out to deal with a fire hazard and then they told the tree trimmers the wrong thing and didn't pay them). They are incompetent and frequently misunderstand my communications. They don't send the right people out to deal with maintenance issues. They have new tenants send security deposits to old tenants rather than going through Silver Homes, which puts all tenants in a weird situation. STAY AWAY read more

Stay far away from Silver Home Real Estate. The are completely unethical and dishonest. This company contracted my business for tree service on one of their properties. Their agent Margaret Polley told us that a check would be ready the day of service. However, when the work was completed we were told that Margaret forgot to leave a check. For over a month after that we tried to contact Margaret via phone and email to resolve payment. We also called the main office multiple times. No one returned our calls or email. It wasn't until we started making threats of legal action that we got any response from them. They didn't even call, just sent us a link to some portal to upload documents that they should have asked for from the very beginning! We completed our service on December 3rd, 2024...and here we are at the end of January and still no payment. Bottom line is, they signed a contract with us that says payment is due at the time of service, not 2 months later. We have been in business for over 20 years and I have never encountered a management company as unprofessional as Silver Home. UPDATE*** IT IS NOW MID FEBRUARY AND WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED PAYMENT OR ANY CONTACT FROM THIS COMPANY. CHECK THEM OUT ON THE BBB AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN ACCREDITED. I DO NOT recommend working with this agency ever. If I could give negative stars I would because they don't even deserve one. They contracted our company in December for Tree Service and told us there would be a check available on the date of service upon completion of the job. This was not the case, we were told Margaret "forgot" to leave it for us. We have been trying to get ahold of them ever since. It is now February, and we have still not heard from them. They are criminals and thieves. If you look them up on the BBB website it says they are out of business and not accredited. Be careful if you choose to work with these people, you will get screwed. read more

She always answered every call with any issue we had with any property we rented from her, she is totally always helpful and patient with any residents needs or comments. ZERO STARS. Dishonest and horrible communication. We terminated them in November of 2023. In December 2023 they sent out an email to collected dues from some residents. It's almost April of 2024 and they have not given us that money back along with any funds that we still had in our account. They failed to perform their most basic duties. It got so bad that we received a shut off notice from the City and from TEP. They didn't respond to audits from the Az Dept of Real Estate and had their licenses revoked. They have not replied to our attorney and left our community scrambling to keep the lights on. If you contract with them, ask for financial information and get detailed reports from utility companies because what they gave us did not match TEP. Yours might not either. We have been renting from Silver Home Rentals for almost 6 years. Margaret treats us like family. She is definitely very busy, but has always replied to our concerns quickly. The office staff sometimes drops the ball on giving messages or returning our calls, but that's our only complaint (dropped a star for that). They are not a "hovering" type management company. They let you lead your lives without much interference (which is what we like). We own a large dog, paid our extra deposit, and have had no problems. Our rent has never gone up, and during a time of financial difficulty they worked with us. I realize that many of the issues you can have renting really depend on the owner's preferences, not the manager. This management company is one of the best we have dealt with. read more

I have been trying to contact someone with this organization for 2 days regarding a rental. I have left many messages asking for someone to call me back and have had no response. If they are not available on the weekends they should state as such on their voice mail. I have been trying to set up an appointment to view a home. I have even gone so far as to try and contact someone through their emergency phone number listed on their recording and got another voicemail message. If this is any indication of the level of service I can expect from this company, I think I'm going to take a hard pass. read more

Dealing with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. The whole move out process was the most unprofessional process I have ever dealt with. I was never told what day to give my keys back even after I asked, and then when I asked for a walk through with someone to give them my keys, I was told to drop them in a DROP BOX. Couldn't even do a walk through with anyone to go over things to replace or fix before I get charged! They look for every single little detail that they can possibly find to charge you for and the charges don't even make any kind of sense. I broke my lease and was told that I was responsible for the payments of the lease up until the next person moved in. Which I totally get and understand. However, I was told that the next person was moving in on the 10th and given less than a weeks notice to get all of my stuff out of the house which I hadn't even had begun to pack because I was not expecting the next person to move in so quickly. Rushed out of the house, and then told that I would be charged cleaning and landscaping fees AFTER I had given my keys back. I fought the cleaning charges as I am perfectly capable of cleaning myself so I got the lockbox code and was able to go back in and clean it myself. Then as I am trying to contact the girl at the office to find out about my deposit that I was told I would get back I kept getting responses as "I will let you know tomorrow". Well SHOCKER, never heard a peep. I look on the portal at my charges and I am being charged until the 15th of the month AFTER I was told that the person was moving in on the 10th! Have it all documented! So they are collecting rent from 2 different sources on the SAME house for 5 days! Totally illegal! Next, I go back into the portal after I hadn't heard from the office girl the whole week when I was told I would hear something the next day and see that she never fixed the extra 5 days that I was charged, and on top of that charged me $79 to change out light bulbs and replace a filter, mind you there was already a BRAND NEW filter sitting right under the vent just didn't change it because I didn't have a ladder. There is NO WAY in hell you can tell me that light bulbs costed you $79!!!! On top of that, the most expensive bulbs in the house, there were extra ones left in a package in the laundry room! Oh, and then to top it off if you try to call the main office number it gets forwarded to the company manager who will then TEXT you back after she ignored your phone call. Some things are needed to be TALKED about, NOT TEXTED. Needless to say, they found every possible way to add enough charges onto my account so that they could keep my ENTIRE deposit that I was supposed to and told I would get back. And then still charged me more even after taking my whole deposit. Which they will NEVER get another penny from me so it's actually almost comical at this point. I would NEVER consider renting from this company again all based on how terrible this move out experience has been. If you are considering renting a house from silver homes, I would rethink your decision unless you are wanting do deal with hell freezing over when you move out. read more

I am in my fourth year renting from Silver Home Rentals and can say I'm very happy with this company. The A/C went out on the house I was in during one of our hottest summers on record. Margaret was quick to get the A/C replaced so I didn't have to worry about my kids and the heat. She is great about working with me when I've had situations come up, and is reassuring and responsive to my panic calls. Prior to renting with Silver Home I tried contacting other companies and would get no response from inquiry calls. She has gone above and beyond attending to my condo's needs while I am in California and has always responded to my calls immediately. If you are looking for a property manager that will be responsive to your needs, protect your financial interest in your property, and treat you in a professional manager...I have to advise you to keep looking. Margaret Polley has NEVER in more than two years answered my call the first time. It usually took 2+ calls before she would call back. Her advertising was limited to a sign in our front yard. She became friends with our tenants and chose to protect their interests over ours. For example, after their initial contact ended, she advised us NOT to charge a premium for having them stay indefinately on a month-to-month contact. At the same time she charged us $25/month to be on the same kind of contract. To add to it, she chose not to put it on our monthly bills. Instead, 14 months later, she charged it all on our final payment. Margaret failed to inform us that our tenants were moving out until 2 weeks after they initially called her. This left us with only 2 weeks notice. The final straw came when Margaret repeatedly made disparaging comments about our house both directly to my husband, as well as to our new property management company. Bottom line...I think any company would do a better job than Silver Home Rentals. read more

RENTERS BEWARE!! This is the worst experience I have had on a business and personal level! My exit and final inspection was a nightmare, I was deducted over $200.00 dollars from my deposit due to floor cleaning that was not stated on the contract--I was charged for garage flooring clean up (what is that?) never heard of that in my life! I lived in a 1100sqft home and it was about $200.00 for the service who by the way was an out of town company from northern AZ?! I tried contacting the broker, he would not return my phone calls and writes me a letter instead of having the proper etiquette to speak directly to me. Margaret attacked me personally after she saw that I made a comment that she is a pain to work with...I was going to be sued by her apparently. I have experience in the Real Estate field and I have never in all my career experienced a company so unprofessional. I dealt with Margaret Polley with our lease and all needs that arose with the house. I have nothing but great things to say about Silver Home rentals and Margaret. She was very professional and friendly the entire time. I only wish Margaret had another house that met our needs so that I could stay with Silver Home Rentals. I'm only writing this review because I saw the one and only other review for Silver Home Rentals on Yelp was bad.
