Long overdue review. I've used Silver Lake 3x now. The first was when someone hit my parked car and I had never been in an accident before and had to deal with insurance and they made the process a breeze. They've also helped me out with a windshield and a sensor issue. The latest I was actually trying to have someone help me with my camera sensors at the Audi dealership me same day with little luck and Avo happened to be there and recognized me (even remembered what car I drove) and so I followed him back to to his shop and he literally fixed it on the spot for me. There's a few things that stand out with the dealership. Clean cozy waiting area with very friendly employees- water, etc. (even had cookies today!) Constant communication whether in person while you're waiting or via text/phone. Always find you the best deals on parts. Very honest and sincere. Efficient. Ok first of all, no one wants to be in a position to have to look for a repair shop. It's super stressful, your car's damaged, you have to take time off, cough up a ton of money, etc. It sucks. The only thing that made the whole ordeal bearable was finding Steve at this place. He made the process of fixing my car SO easy. He was quite patient, walking me through all the insurance stuff and explaining clearly to me the proper steps. Normally, I am wary of car shops scamming you with marked up prices or taking advantage of people who might not know better, but I had the distinct feeling that Steve would absolutely not do that to you. They charged a fair price for what I needed done and were upfront about costs and time needed to work. About the work: my car looked brand freaking new. They gave a complimentary carwash afterwards and the attention to detail was amazing. I really felt like they took pride in their work and cared about doing an impeccable job. I had to go back to them recently for something small and I was taken care of promptly and my car was returned an hour later looking sparkly clean again. Is it weird to love an autobody shop? While I usually don't write reviews until work/service is completed. Unfortunately, we've already used Silver Lake Collision about 4 years ago when we used to live near their Silverlake location. The Pasadena location has been great. Communication has been amazing even prior to drop off, but it wasn't pushy either. At drop off I was greeted by Avo who then walked me through the whole process. Since I don't have car rental included in my policy, he assured me that he would do his best for a quick turn time. He even offered to a more reasonable rental option through them if I needed it. It's clear that Avo and the Silver Lake location is willing to go above and beyond to help their customers out. That alone is review worthy! A couple of years ago, my husband got in a one man accident in Pasadena and Progressive sent us to Silver Lake Collision. His 2014 Passat is a dark metallic grey that would be hard to match so many years after manufacture. Silver Lake repaired everything to new condition, matched the paint and it has not faded in the least. Fast forward to October 1st, 2024, a driver broadsided my car. Since Silver Lake did such a sterling job on my husband's car, I wanted to use them again, even though they are 25 miles from our house and my insurance would have preferred I use someone else. No way. My 2014 Jetta Sportwagen went to Silver Lake. They turned it around in 2 weeks. The paint and body work is flawless. My low mileage gem is back on the road again and looks new. I am a week overdue in writing this review, the team here is amazing. We've unfortunately had our car in need of their services 3 times now over the last two years and this last time was the most pressing and they once again delivered. We had only a week left on our lease and we're rear ended hard on the freeway by an RV. If we didn't get the car back in time we'd have to pay for another full year of registration. Did a great job repainting my bumper after getting a gouge in it, can't even tell it's not original. The work was done promptly at a reasonable price and communication was good. I'm picky about quality when it comes to car repairs and highly recommend this place. As an aside another place told me my sensors would all be off on my vehicle after they completed the work and I would need to take it to a dealer. I cannot say enough positive things about Tony and Silver Lake Collision Center! I was very nervous about finding a repair shop after I was majorly burned by Star Body Shop in Glendale in the past. I was referred to SLCC by my insurance (Progressive) after a minor accident. I dropped my car off at SLCC on Tuesday morning. Tony said he would call by Wednesday morning with a breakdown of the repair costs and when the repairs to my vehicle would be completed (roughly 10 days later). I was paying through my insurance so I can't speak to the cost aspect. I needed my front bumper, hood, and some other parts repaired (roughly $4000. I called once the following week to confirm the repair was on schedule. Tony was always accessible and easy to reach. This really scored major points with me. Tony also told me he would contact me if the car was ready before that time (because I had mentioned I might not be able to come pick up the car on that Friday). I was shocked to hear from Tony on Thursday to let me know my car was ready early! He left me a voicemail and also emailed me, which I appreciated. When I picked up my car, I was delighted to see that it looked brand new!
