The coffee/tea was good, they do have a nice variety of options. What was terrible was the wait. We waited nearly 30 minutes, two cars in front of us, and we ordered two simple drinks. We assumed there was one person working, but when we finally got up to the window we saw there were three people working. The drinks were good, but for the wait, I would pass. No sense or urgency. They were nice and the drinks are cheap, but again, I shouldn't have to wait this long at a drive thru coffee stand. The whole point is to be quick. read more

Local here and have been going to the Coffee Cottage for years. Just a heads up that they need to clean out their ice machine. Got two spritzers today and there were multiple fruit flies in the ice cubes in both drinks. I know fruit flies are hard to manage this time of year, but it seemed excessive. read more

Stopped by on our way into Port Angeles. As for ambience, it was a convenient and cute little coffee shack on the side of the road (not a local from WA, so these are so charming to me). The drive thru line was a little long, but I'm pretty patient. The poor woman working was all by herself and there were a pretty good amount of cars. She should've had help, but she was working so hard and she was soooo friendly. I ordered a 12oz iced mocha with oat milk and it was worth the wait! Loved this place, but I would at least have two employees on, even if it's late in the afternoon. The guy in front of me ordered multiple drinks, and the poor woman had to make all of them, take orders, cash out, and do everything alone. read more

We don't live in town but have family that live in Joyce. We stopped every time we were in town all spring & summer (6-7x) and the coffee was always great, we didn't even try other stands because there was no need! This past weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) we've been by 2x and it was awful both times. The coffee itself is alright, but the flavoring is just off. I had a pumpkin spice latte that tasted just a little tiny bit like pumpkin pie, no spice at all. Today I had a white chocolate peppermint americano & I realized they must not use powder or chocolate sauce for the white chocolate because my drink was bitter & way too sweet, the white chocolate syrup taste far outweighed the peppermint. I'm pretty disappointed, we don't plan to stop again. Also- we ordered two 24 Oz coffee's thinking that with a coffee that large we'd get 4 shots, not 2, but you still only get 2. :/ read more

The coffee cottage is the only place in Port Angeles I get my coffee or Redbull spritzer. I have stopped and shopped at a lot of coffee stands across multiple states and the coffee cottage is hands-down my favorite. They are the only stand I have come across that has an ever-growing list of flavors. Weather it's a hot sunny day and you need a drink to cool off or snowy winter day and you need to heat up they have something for everyone. read more
