He receiving great attention and support from the staff. The director Jennifer is very "hands on" even helping her staff with dinning duties. I have been in many similar situations as a worker, and also had my father in a place in San Diego. This place is very clean, and no smell. A lot of these facilities have a bad smell. The whole staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The food is very good. Plenty of activities per Destiny!!! Good job overall

Arcadia Pl., has friendly and helpful staff to assist the residents . They always have a smile on their face and positive attitudes. Transportation locally is provided four days a week, which includes shopping, medical appointments, and special organized outings. A beautiful grass courtyard is the center of the complex which includes a dog park. Plenty of walking space and benches to enjoy the beautiful North County weather are provided. Overall, Arcadia Pl., has good vibes and friendly clean atmosphere.

Tim (manager) was very good. He was present and available throughout the time my mother stayed until she passed away. He was accommodating during the difficult periods. He was pleasant and would help trouble shoot problems with clients. It's common knowledge that if you are respectful you will be respected. Tim was very polite patient and kind. I have worked with elderly patients. And I know it is hard work. Let's face it not all of our parents are perfect angels all the time. I also loved the social events, Holiday parties, live music. And dancing! Mom received a lot of attention and enjoyed feeling like a young gal again. Melisa and the girls in the office admin were compassionate and lent an ear every time I needed support. The food was really good at times and great other times ,the dinning room and room service superb. This place is a big bang for the buck. It was affordable and not the $6-8K per month you will pay for in other facilities. My mom like most was on a fixed income. The room sizes are great. We enjoyed visiting EVERYONE! When Mom got to the point where she required full-time help, finding a place that met our goals for keeping a livelihood where she could be ambulatory, where she could sit outdoors near a garden, where the rooms, kitchen and bathroom facilities were all clean and smelled fresh was very important. After a long search, we got a reference to Restful Homes from someone who's mother had been happy there. We were delighted to find Restful Homes quite literally everything we had hoped to find. The transition was tough for everyone, but Dr. LaCombe went out of his way to keep us informed by texting updates, instant messaging photos, and phone calls. It's been over a year, and we continue to be surprised by how well Mom has adjusted and how she continues to retain her sense of humor, and she enjoys the company of the staff and other residents. Dr. LaCombe and his staff are tremendous people - it's clear in my Mother's ease, her sense of safety and her relaxed state of mind. Great work, Restful Homes staff!

Esmeralda as director of caregivers is the right person for the job. She is kind, thorough and thoughtful. Patty, director of dining services is a real asset and goes above and beyond for 'her' residents. She tries to work with those with special dietary needs with what she has available making herself accessible to all. We love Patty and the food she provides. The first thing family mentioned when visiting was the atmosphere, how clean and friendly Rancho Vista is for seniors.

The dining room and bar are bright and cheery and decorated for every holiday. The facility is very clean, modern, easy to navigate, and is relatively small so it feels more intimate. Her room and laundry are cleaned weekly. The reception staff is welcoming and maintenance responds promptly to any concerns. The med team is great, very proactive in reaching out with any concerns. I am happy knowing my mom is in a warm, caring, clean, and safe place.
