I believe Longboard might be the only tiki bar on the beach that is located on the premises. The best part is that you are steps away from the beach. There is a laundry room on site but the dryer was broken when my fiancé and I needed it. There are also amenities, snacks, and alcohol for purchase in the mini store.

The folks in the adjoined room were there to party, we were there to relax. You can hear almost every word people say, because the doors to the adjoining rooms are not very well insulated. The night staff was extremely responsive and made phone calls to the room which seemed to quiet things down a little bit. The next morning, the situation was tense and management reacted and promptly moved us to a different room. Thank you Becky!! They saved the day. This hotel is a great beach location with a fun tiki bar with a great happy hour. Rooms are clean and well appointed. If you value your peace and quiet, make sure you do not get a room with an adjoining door. Breakfast was a standard Hampton breakfast, but it was included which we enjoyed. 2 stars were deducted because the pool is an absolute free-for-all. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool, and for two days watched random people show up, enjoy the pool for hours and steal towels and leave. Not once but several times!!There's no one that monitors to make sure that the pool is hotel guest only. We felt like this might be a safety issue.

This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

The water also does not go away at the sinks quickly. Really a cleanliness issue. The bath tub is broken too. Also the hotel can get some upgrade: it's really run down. Swimming pool can get an upgrade too. There is a mini fridge for you to put drinks. The beds are ok but can be better maintained. Carpet can be cleaned better. Will probably not come back to this location. Parking is $55 for valet. Opposite outdoor parking is $35 with in and out privilege and $25 per day for no in/out.

What a beautiful and unique hotel!…read more LOCATION I was impressed with my recent 2-week stay at The Daytona, Autograph Collection. This hotel is located across the street from the Daytona Beach International Speedway, less than 5 minutes from the Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), walking distance to restaurants and shops at One Daytona, and minutes from the beach! PARKING There are plenty of parking spaces around the hotel property. There is no valet but I don't even think it's necessary here. They have plenty of handicap parking spaces for those who need it. And drop-off or pick-up points for ride share apps like Uber and Lyft are easily accessible, as there is only one area to do that. BELLHOP SERVICE There is no bellhop service here but they do provide plenty of bellhop carts for you to use. Just be sure to take it back down where you found it. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT When you enter the building, you will need to take the elevators up to the 2nd floor - that's where you'll find the Registration desk and concierge. Checking in (and checking out) was a breeze with my reservation. I just provided my driver's license and credit card. They provided me with "room keys" (cards) that had a die cut of a key. With my Marriott Bonvoy app, I also had the benefit of unlocking my hotel room door from the app. I used both during my stay. ROOM & AMENITIES My room was very spacious and had 2 queen beds. It was comfortable to sleep in. What I liked most about my room was the movable marble table. It was heavy-duty and I used it as my vanity table - I simply brought the vanity mirror from the bathroom to the table where I did my makeup every morning. There's plenty of storage, and I utilized every drawer and closet without looking cluttered. I liked that the cabinet had a separate door for the ironing board and iron. The shower had glass doors but the shower head was a little soft-medium pressure. It only gained more pressure when you turned on the other removable handheld shower head. It came with shampoo and conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The shampoo and conditioner were not my favorite - not for my hair, at least. The body wash smelled good but it leaned more toward a manly scent. Still a good scent nonetheless. I liked the frosted door that separated the toilet from the rest of the bathroom because it swings in or out. ROOM SERVICE I enjoyed the comfort of dining in my hotel room so I called for room service on two nights. Both nights I ordered their 6-piece chicken wings with an addition of fries for the latter stay. CUSTOMER SERVICE On the occasion I needed help locating the blowdryer, the front desk was kind to walk me through where it was located in the room. I had also asked to extend my stay by 1 more night and they were very friendly. I didn't have to move my belongings so I just stayed in my room the extra night. When I did extend my night, I did not have access to my room. A very kind lady from front desk walked a set of keys up to my floor so that I can have access to my room again. I was very grateful for her. NEARBY SHOPS & RESTAURANTS ON the property, I ate at Blue Flame Grill for breakfast and dinner. The menus come in a car manual, which matched the unique theme of this hotel. If you prefer to dine elsewhere, they have several options just outside of the hotel at One Daytona. LAUNDRY They have a small laundry room next to the gym on the first floor. They have 2 washers and 1 dryer available for all guests to use free of charge - just need to provide your own detergent, which can be purchased on the 2nd floor. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and enjoyed the service from everyone interacted with at The Daytona. I love the location and I really enjoyed the scent of the hotel. It smells like men's cologne. It's refreshing to see a hotel that leans toward a masculine design for a change. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Daytona Beach.

However, I was really impressed with both this hotel and the area. The hotel is directly across the street from the Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500. The Fairfield is located in a great little commercial area filled with shops and restaurants. There is also a bank within walking distance, if you need some more cash. As for the hotel, the staff were very kind and helpful. They gave me a warm greeting each morning, and they were always available with any assistance we might have needed. They were kind and generous. The hotel was clean and offered an exercise room and an outdoor pool. And while the breakfast was similar to other hotels, the coffee was hot and tasty and those waffles smelled delicious. I am probably returning for another training in July, and I am planning on staying at the Fairfield Inn.

Clean, quiet, they have free parking and you are steps away from the Daytona One shopping center…read moreand Daytona International Speedway. By no means flashy, but if you are just looking for a clean place to stay with comfortable beds, the Fairfield is a great choice. It's Daytona Beach and you are not anywhere near the beach, but you are within walking distance to Daytona International Speedway and just a couple of miles from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants nearby that are good for groups of friends or families with young kids. It is very convenient, especially if you're here to go to a race or car show. I had a single king bed on the third floor that a view of the corner of Daytona Speedway and a corner of the NASCAR Headquarters. The natural light was great, the room came with one sitting chair, but at night the lighting made the room feel kind of yellowish and dim. It had easily adjustable air conditioning that was powerful and a large flat screen TV. There were plenty of clothing drawers but the closet space was kind of a weird set up. Instead of a traditional tall closet, they decided to make a slim, super tall closet and slice it in half with a top and bottom, except there was no hanger rack for the top half. The top half of the closet felt like inefficient use of space. There's a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board which are always helpful. I loved the firmness of the bed and never woke up in the middle of the night on any nights. Slept like a big ol' baby! They don't service your room unless you schedule it in advance, but you must schedule it at least 24 hours ahead of time. If you are staying for a number of nights and you think you'll want the room cleaned, you may as well tell them at check-in what days you'd like your room cleaned and they can put it on the schedule right then. Quirky things about the hotel... The ice room on the third floor was like a sauna. It's 10-15 degrees hotter when you are getting your ice in the little room than anywhere else in the hotel. There must not be any ventilation in the room. The hotel has a bar but there is no bartender and it's never open. So you'll have to settle for the bottled wine and beer selections at the fridge near the front desk. There is free breakfast at the hotel, but it is the exact same food every day. When I went to pick up some coffee each morning I looked and it was the same turkey sausage every day for five straight days. Never saw bacon, never saw ham. The same soft boiled eggs and the same fruit. Variety is not their strong suit, but the breakfast is complimentary. There is no onsite restaurant at the hotel. The bar of soap they provide for bathing is tiny. I enjoyed my stay here. If you're looking for clean, comfortable and practical, it is definitely all of that. A couple of my co-workers did not love their rooms on the 4th floor. They said for some reason it smelled like pee up there, so maybe ask for one of the other floors if you get a choice. I had no issues with my room or the service at the hotel. They don't charge for parking and there is plenty of parking in the lot or parking structure. If you want comfort and convenience, this hotel is great for that. If you're looking for something where you can hear the water, then you should pick a hotel closer to the beach.
