I really really liked this Marriott. There were no snobs on staff. Very friendly and if you are a race fan, you get the amazing detail. I felt lucky to be able to stay here because I bet it is sold out most of the year. Great value with my points. Did not try the food. Great location and fantastic bar.

A motorcycle right in the center of the restaurant.

The hotel is located in a good place, where shops and restaurants are all with walking distance. The hotel says "Daytona" with its decor. There is room service; you can get breakfast (not buffet on the day I was there) and the food is wonderful!!

Very impressed with this hotel so far. Very welcoming vibe. Nice, racer decor throughout. Clean and quiet. Friendly door greeter. Room is very nice and spacious. Bathroom is a nice size. Pool area is beautiful. They have a full bar next to the receptionist area. Very impressed with the area around the hotel.

WOW This hotel was a win in our book! From start to finish we had the best time staying at The Daytona Autograph Collection. The theme setting is NASCAR With a modern twist! This is the perfect location to get a feel for the Daytona area The second floor lobby is most of the fun even with an outdoor patio. The staff is wonderful and can help with most of your needs. Overall the hotel was clean and the room itself was just beautiful. Comfy beds, Nespresso machine, Gorgeous bathroom with shampoo & conditioner provided in case you forget your own. And even offer some Al a carte items in room if you feel like splurging a little. The view was great right towards the Speedway and shopping areas so we could see everything around us. This Hotel is a great spot to be in! The pool area was very clean and the pool itself was nicely heated. Definitely will be staying here again

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a fan of the Daytona Beach area, but The Daytona hotel and it's location is quite the nice little stretch! If you are at all a NASCAR fan, you'd have a hay day staying at the Daytona. The racetrack is literally right across the street. You can see it loud and clear from the entrance of the hotel. Not to mention the whole hotel is race car themed (I mean, duh). What I really enjoyed about staying here, though, are all the things to do nearby. Not only does the hotel itself have a large and nice pool, a decent-sized workout room as well as a bar and rooftop spot, but there's basically a whole shopping center in its backyard. They have an assortment of restaurants, coffee shops and dessert stops like Ben & Jerry's, shopping, along with a few other things. And you can easily walk to all of it straight from the hotel without hardly going anywhere. It's so convenient. Even the workers were super nice here- they give you a free mock tail at the front desk if you so desire! I was impressed by just how nice and clean everything was here. The shower was incredible and even the soaps and little things they provide you with are the highest quality. This is a fantastic stay if you can get a decent price!

While visiting Daytona Beach I decided to book my stay at The Daytona Autograph Hotel and let me tell you, this place did NOT disappoint. The Autograph is situated directly across the street from the world famous Daytona 500 and located in what I would say is thee nicest part of Daytona - One Daytona. Parking is plentiful and well lit. When you walk into the hotel you're greeted with that wonderful "Hotel Aroma" that smells amazing, cool air conditioning blowing at full speed, AND lovely hotel music. Guests can head to the 2nd floor for check-in along and/or to eat at the restaurant or bar. I requested for early check-in via the Marriott Bon Voy app (which I highly recommend you download). By the time I got to the hotel my room was ready. The room was very beautiful, over looking One Daytona and The Speedway. Everyday, I ate breakfast inside of the restaurant and it was awesome! I highly recommend eating at the hotel. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal was great! Super fresh and very friendly staff. Everyone from the waitstaff, front desk, all the way to the security guards - very hospitable. I highly recommend The Autograph Hotel to anyone who is looking to take a trip to Daytona. Great stay!

We stayed at The Daytona Hotel during Jeep Beach and it's the perfect location across from the speedway. The staff is friendly, room was spotless, and the proximity to food can't be beat. I think the best part of the hotel was the bathroom. Someone really put some thought into the design and it's one of the nicest hotel bathrooms that I've seen. The shower and sink areas are huge and the toilet is separated from both by a door. Usually hotel restrooms are tiny and there isn't enough space to get ready comfortably. Not the case with this hotel. There is also a restaurant in the lobby and small shop for snacks, etc. as well as multiple restaurants in the plaza that you can walk to and grab a bite to eat. Be mindful that the bottom floor of the hotel connects to the shopping plaza so check in is on the second floor and you'll need your room key to access the other floors in the hotel.

The look when you walk into a standard room.

You can stop your search now. This is the best hotel in Daytona Beach! Okay, the Daytona Autograph Collection (by Marriott) is not on the water, so that is the only negative (or positive, depending on how you see things), but it swaps out the oceanfront view for a view of the Daytona Speedway, NASCAR Headquarters and you can walk to a bunch of good restaurants in the the attached plaza. And we are 8 minutes from the airport. How cool is that? The Daytona has an outdoor pool (it's a pool, not water slide park or floating river), a workout center, a washing machine downstairs, a bar, a restaurant, a gift shop that sells ice cream with alcohol in it, old Daytona racing memorabilia lining it's halls and some very awesome vintage Daytona 500 race cars on display. Take out the race car geekery and you still have an ultra modern hotel that will still service your room every day. King Bedroom - The room is done up in white tile with grey streaks, blue/grey carpet and wood accents. There's a flat screen TV, refrigerator, pod coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, luggage rack, desk and mini sofa. The bathroom is bright and the shower has an adjustable pressure shower head along with a hand shower. They provide Molton Brown and Jose Eber products in the bathroom. The coffee is complimentary, but the bottled water and other snacks in the room are not. The very firm but embracing bed had me in a deep, restful sleep each night. The windows and walls here are solidly built. I had to survive Hurricane Nicole here and I didn't hear any of the wind or rain battering the windows in the middle of the night. They were supposed to service the room every day but they cut back on that due to being short staffed during the hurricane. Lights and everything placed in the room is intuitive and where they should be. Ice Machine - My machine on the 5th floor was not working so I had to go to the 6th floor to get my ice. Parking - Is free! This is hotel is a part of One Daytona Plaza and parking in the outdoor mall lot is free. Blue Flame Bar and Restaurant serves craft drinks and consistently good food. I had three meals here due to being stuck for Hurricane Nicole and I enjoyed each meal. The dining area is called Sir Malcolm during breakfast and Blue Flame the rest of the day. The bar has a good whiskey and moonshine selection. Hotel Staff - Always cheery and helpful, whether it be the front desk, bartender or the staff that stocked our conference room. The Fairfield Inn and Suites (also owned by Marriott) is on the other side of the parking lot in One Daytona is also nice if you really want to watch your budget, but during the off season, it's very possible to get a room here at the Daytona Autograph Collection for only $60 more a night and it's definitely worth the splurge. This is the 5th or 6th hotel that I've stayed at in Daytona Beach and it is my favorite. Even if you live in Daytona, you should stop by this hotel to have dinner or a drink on the patio. Treat yourself for a few hours, this place is gorgeous.

Smokin a special tequila old fashioned...

WHAT!!! Whhhaaaat!!! This place is Da'Bizomb!! Folks....E V E R Y T H I N G about this hotel is amazing - Especially the bar...well - specifically Steve the bartender...he's an artist... Had the chance to stay at The Daytona. It's only a few months old. The location is ideal. The hotel is fantabulous. Lobby is laced with actual (retired) racing cars. The rooms...well you know, it's an Autograph collection. However, lemme tell you 'bout this Mexican Smoky Old Fashioned drink Steve the 'mad mixologist' concocted. So here's the back story - checked in on a Friday early afternoon and had to 'finish up' the work week. "Jose, why not work bar-side"...You ARE a wise person..did just that and THAT'S when I met Steve...wait, no Esteban, and my life experience with tequila changed. First - Steve (Esteban) is a master craftsman in his mixology art. Started with a Mexican Mule, graduated to a Peach Moonshine Marg, then to the Piece De Resistance - a 32 ingredient (I'm sure I'm exaggerating, but it's close) Tequila Smoky Old Fashioned, which Steve proceeds to really smoke in a bowl - A M A Z I N G.....watch the clip and I'll bet you a dollar you'll order one and LOVE it. And when you do - hit me up and tell me all about it.... That's it folks. Tequila and an awesome bartender = a great hotel stay...I'm more than certain you'll agree... Later peeps!j

Excellent Experience and could not be closer to the action than this place. Walk to all restaurants and attractions and across the bridge to speedway.

Extremely Poor Customer Service at the Front Desk and Lack of Response from the Management This is our Letter of Complaints to the Marriot Corporate Office: After some research on Marriot Hotel Rating in Florida, my Husband and I decided to check out the Highest Rated Hotel in Florida ( By Marriot BonVoy Web site rating) during our Florida Staycations. We normally travelled internationally during our vacations, but due to COVID-19, we only been driving From our home in Tampa FL to various Florida locations. We are Lifelong Titanium Members, and achieved our status by being exclusively Loyal to Marriot Brand. And we are generally treated very well by most Marriot Families of Hotels , but our experience with the Daytona Autograph Collection Hotel was Extremely Disappointing. We have arrived at 3:30 pm on 10/22/20 for check in, and was service by a young white woman in her 20-30, she was very tall and Heavy set (around 200 lb). My husband and I ask her if the hotel can provide us with upgrades, and she responded in a very Negative way. She said : "No, there are no upgrades available, you will have your standard room that you've booked " During our conversation, I was able to get online and see that there were many Suites Available for booking on BonVoy website at this hotel and this staff was reusing to upgrade us! The Hotel is less than 80% occupied on this particular day, and still many larger rooms and Suites available. After I've explained to her that I can still book Suites on the Website as we speak, she replied : "That would be fine, I can cancel the other reservation and charge you for the Suite." My husband discouraged me to pay extra money and book the Suite online, due to the fact that we are only there for one short night before leaving early next day to check into another Marriot Hotel on the Beach in Jacksonville Beach Florida. And My husband says he can do without the suite for one night. We find this Front Desk Staff's Poor Customer Service Attitude to be unacceptable and would suggest some additional training. And we would like to revisit this hotel again in the future after this problem has been remedied. And this is the Marriot Corporate Response to us. They Thank us for Contacting them and welcomed the opportunity to assist the loyal guests such as us. They are very sorry to hear of my experience while checking into The Daytona, Autograph Collection.  And offered their understanding of our Frustrations. They documented our comments and forwarded them to their colleagues in the Daytona Autographed Collection hotels management team.  They assured us that the Management Team of the Hotel will respond to us soon. The FINAL Outcome: After several Weeks of waiting We NEVER received any responses from the Daytona Autographed Collection Management Team! They Just DON'T CARE! Very Poor Customer Service to a Lifetime Titanium Member!

The next morning, the situation was tense and management reacted and promptly moved us to a different room. Thank you Becky!! They saved the day. This hotel is a great beach location with a fun tiki bar with a great happy hour. Rooms are clean and well appointed. If you value your peace and quiet, make sure you do not get a room with an adjoining door. Breakfast was a standard Hampton breakfast, but it was included which we enjoyed. 2 stars were deducted because the pool is an absolute free-for-all. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool, and for two days watched random people show up, enjoy the pool for hours and steal towels and leave. This hotel was right across the street from Ocean Center where we would be headed the next morning. The hotel was massive having a south and north tower with 16 floors on each side. My roommate and I were ocean front on the 12th floor, nearly in the middle of the south tower. WOW, what a view! I didn't realize until arriving to the room there was no balcony. However, you could open a regular size sliding door to see and hear the ocean. There were bars like a balcony in front of the sliding door but you could only step out one foot on the tiny platform. I left the door open while I was reading and it was so peaceful to hear the ocean;) Parking was nearly two blocks away on the opposite side of the street and across the street from the entrance of Ocean Center behind a barbecue restaurant. This was a bit of a pain pulling the luggage that far. Plus you had to go up a steep incline to get into the lobby. I could have paid an extra $20 for parking overnight if I had used the hotels valet service. No thanks lol! We did get a discount for the parking lot because we were attending the conference. Instead of $35 it was $20 (with taxes $23). The hotel was a little dated. The light over the sink flickered. But did stop after the light was on for a little bit. The beds however were up to the Hilton standard as well as the pillows, nice and comfortable. I shared the room with a friend from church. I liked the feature of having an extra sink and mirror outside the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The desk chair needed replaced as the seat was very worn in. Service at the front desk was friendly and they helped answer all my questions about parking. It was a little confusing because you didn't have a ticket and I couldn't figure out how I would get out of the lot when the conference was over the next day. But the front desk attendant advised they would have someone at the exit gate to open it when the conference let out. And they did;) Thanks for a comfortable night's sleep Hilton! I would stay here again if attending a conference that included a discount code as this hotel was pretty pricey.

When we arrived, I went in and spoke with Nastassia, who informed me they did have availability, so I went ahead and book a room from the 9th through the 13th. The first thing I noticed is the total price she indicated was more than the website with taxes and fees. I was given a Veteran Discount and entered my rewards number, which may or may not assist in free stays in the future, but the overall amount still was above the quote on the website. She gave us a free upgrade to a kitchenette room, which was cool and my wife and I went to the room. While there, we requested plates and silverware and was informed they would be putting it together for us stating they would ensure it was sanitized and ready for use. When it arrived, it was not very clean. Not to say it hadn't been cleaned at one point in time, but instead had sat somewhere unused for a while and was just thrown in a large Tupperware bin and not rinsed off again. Everything seemed fine; however, early veterans day morning, we were awoken by construction on the floor above us, before 9 am. Ann, the desk clerk seemed disinterested in our complaint, so we just went about our day. On that same morning after getting ready to head out antiquing, we both noticed tiny little bugs in the bathroom sink, kitchen and table. I couldn't really say if they were bed bugs, because we have never seen them before, but they looked to be very tiny ants. Later that evening, while watching tv in bed, I realize I was being bitten and notified the front desk who moved us to another room, where we stayed for the remainder of our time there. Nastassia was at the front desk at that time and decided to provide us with two free breakfasts for our last two mornings, which was good; however, even when in their dining area, we noticed the little bugs there on the tables. Before heading out on our final day, I decided despite the breakfasts provided to speak with the manager regarding the issues we've had. At first, he asked if we had left our sliding balcony door open, which we did not, because of the very loud surf sound and then asked if we went to the beach, which I again replied no, because the hotel literally sits right on the beach and twice a day, the surf crashes against the walls and in some places comes up onto the pool area, where they have cones indicating the water hazard. This to me seemed as if he was trying to blame us for their lack of cleanliness and pest control at their "resort". Either way, he removed the resort fees from our bill, which saved us the price of a full day, but again, still did not equate to the amount quoted for staying on their website. That evening, our tv internet went out for over an hour. They did send a maintenance person, who fiddled around with the tv, as if we touched something and caused the issue ourselves. Finally, as if the roar of the surf in the back wasn't enough, the hotel sits right off the main road and you can hear every loud car, motorcycle and emergency vehicle for miles. When we were moved from room 609 to 509, the front door started a high pitch howl early in the morning, because the wind picked up, which we attributed to the water proof seal on the door needing to be replaced. When mentioning it upon exit, the male desk clerk stated he would let someone know, but again seemed disinterested in the complaint. When went took them up on the free breakfasts, bar tender/server in the dining area was very cordial and efficient; however, the toast they served arrived soggy, both times. All and all, I can say this was the absolute worst stay I have ever had and recommend you choose another newer hotel in the area.

Its 15 min to the beach as well so it's not as fun if you're with kids to pack all the beach stuff every time and ride home with sandy kids. It's across the street from the speedway and a Gold's Gym. They have free breakfast, a kitchenette and Monday- thurs free evening appetizers and snacks. The front desk always seems a little flustered and their system is frequently down so they can't help much in terms of requesting for late checkouts, room key duplicates etc. I knocked off a star because the housekeeping staff were super slow in giving us the towels we called in for. It took almost all day for towels even after they cleaned our rooms, the towels were missing without any explanation. That was the main frustration with our stay otherwise we had a good stay.

First, no soap of any kind at the bathroom sink. Only a pump-bottle in the shower. I asked the front desk for soap, figuring it was just a mistake, but they verified this is standard. So you finish using the toilet, you got to go over to the shower and pump out a shot of "shower gel" then go to the sink to wash hands! Also, the commode did not flush with adequate power, requiring often two flushes and sometimes, your own efforts with TP or towel to reach down and wipe away 'crap' that did not go down with the weak flush! TV has a very weak system-- difficult to find channels, no ability to use apps like Netflix or to even find decent listing of channels. Just several CHEAP things like that that I suppose the management is using to save pennies, but they all add up to an inadequate hosting.
