So, Lily pierced my septum. If I hadn't already had 5 other piercings her Schpeel would have calmed me and helped me be certain - because I've been around the block she just became an instant friend. The tunes over the speakers were perfect for my mood and for that certain ambiance and the processing was professional. I asked for a nose ring but one has to be specific apparently so Lily was very kind and switched her tools up when I indicated I wanted 'that' kind of nose ring. I took a before and after! took my daughter for a nose piercing and a friend, typically when you get your nose pierced, you get to pick out your piece of jewelry you get your piercing done and you pay or pick out your jewelry you pay get the piercing go about your business. was not the case here the girl working had us pay the papers which OK fine we did we go in the back she does the placement of the piercing we thought that she was going to allow us to pick the piercing. She did not. She pierced with a 16 gauge for a lip piercing, or some other body part then proceeded to rub up against my when I called the next day and told her about that she proceeded to tell me that's how she was so it and get caught up on things while it does snag, and in it actually pulls harder I would rather have a piece of jewelry that will pull out of my nose and not actually tug at her never experienced anything like this before I've had many piercings before piercing shops. She definitely defended herself. I asked to speak to the owner and she wouldn't let me speak to the owner asked about the jewelry she told us she wouldn't have the smaller jewelry for several weeks. I suggest not using this piercer go elsewhere. The jewelry she uses is for dermals not noses and she charges $90 and does not tell you ahead of time. She does not have the correct jewelry. She also dropped the jewelry when attempting to put it in and had to get a new set. At minimum she should've offered to refund the cost of the jewelry when I told her we removed the crap she put in my kids nose causing sores. read more

Silver Screen has seriously gone downhill. stopped by a few months ago and was hit with a weird vibe the place reeked of weed and alcohol, and two staff members were making out in the front room. The piercer was super rude and seemed eager to get rid of me. This experience starkly contrasts with my previous positive interactions. Unfortunately, family and friends have since reported ongoing issues. I hope this review prompts much-needed changes in Silver Screen's operations. read more

I don't get the bad reviews. Maybe they're for different artists who don't work there anymore. The shop is clean, well lit, and very welcoming. I got two tattoos, two days apart, both as walk-ins. The artist (Floyd) was nice, funny, and answered honestly about what he could and couldn't do. They definitely draw, I don't think the person who said "they just print things off the computer" realized that they're drawing it directly on the computer lmao). I said I wanted a rose, and he actually drew up a couple for me and let me pick the one I liked. The tattoos are beautiful, and I'm definitely going back for more in the near future. Also the prices are great, very reasonable. I plan to get some piercings from here in the future too (including dermals) so I'll update after I get them! read more

I liked the relaxed no pressure environment they offer. I met with Nikki, told her my vision, and what I hoped to accomplish; covering up an old tattoo without it looking like an obvious cover up. Nikki took my idea and turned it into an amazing piece of art! I only told her how I wanted the trees with a castle outline. She saw something better and knew exactly what to do. Horrible . They will sell you USED and clearly Unsanitized jewelry ! It was in a little bag she held on to it until I paid and then she's like "make sure you clean it good before you wear it , here is a wipe " and hands me a hand wipe . so I went home and opened it up and it has brown nasty stuff on it and you can tell it was used . I paid over $10 for this . Very unhappy and disgusted ! Never will go back. read more

Every time I've gone there, I've been talked down to and treated very rudely. I went in today for a jewelry change and was informed that the person that does it was doing tattoos and would only be able to do the change after 5PM. While we were talking to the piercer, who had just finished with a tattoo, two other people came in and the person at the front desk informed the piercer that because her next appointment hadn't shown up, she had a piercing - completely ignoring the fact that mine was fast and easy and I had come in first!
