This was one of the most memorable dining experiences ever! Fantastic food, great company, and an amazing host! Just go - you won't be disappointed! TLDR: They must have been short staffed the Monday before Christmas but that kinda worked to our favor. We were dining with old friends and wanted a slow meal without feeling rushed anyway. So we had the owner, Rito, as our server most the night. He was a blast! We shared stories, many drinks, and special desert with Rito! Everything was absolutely delicious. We started with the burrata & prosciutto and the side artichokes as our appetizers. Both were insanely flavorful. Main dishes were the special squid ink tortellacci, Gnocchi Alla Bava, & Petto Di Pollo Principessa. Again, all delicious and we ate every last nite, but the gnocchi was the star! I've been craving it ever since that night. Now, in case you haven't picked up on the trend, dessert was delicious! We ordered tiramisu and another dessert (the name escapes me) that was like gelato with zabaione in the center. Absolutely delicious! We mentioned to Rito that they should consider adding a zabaione dessert to the menu, and next thing we knew a special dessert was delivered to our table! The chef & staff were all amazing!

Service at best medicore. Waited over an hour to put in our entree order-and even then it was necessary for us to flag down our server who seemed to disappear for long periods of time. At one point I observed him behind the bar taking a quick drink with another server. Cocktails took very long to arrive. Food also just mediocre. The table appeared to have been put in the center of the floor to accommodate our group of seven. My leg kept hitting the bar under the table. Noise level very high. Disappointed in quality and service particularly in light of the prices.

Always an amazing experience here! The food and atmosphere are top notch. We had great drinks, dinner, and dessert. The trio pasta (not on the menu) was outstanding, and both the filet and branzino were incredibly fresh and flavorful. All the pastas were delicious and clearly made fresh. Desserts were the perfect ending to the meal, and the drinks were excellent. Amazing waitstaff. Highly recommend!

Sitting on the deck by the creek was the perfect compliment for our meal. Service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Dairy free options are available and they are happy to accommodate. For parking, we parked in the lot behind near the police station that is shared with the rear parking of recipes. It was easy accessible and plenty of spots available.

This place was fantastic--from the homemade pasta to the warm, inviting atmosphere. It was my first time here, and I would definitely recommend it. Not only is the interior beautiful, but our waiter was also extremely professional and knowledgeable. Since the pasta is made fresh, it does take a bit of time to arrive, but it's absolutely worth the wait. I've also never seen mouthwash provided in the restroom before, which was a unique and thoughtful touch.

Silver Spoon is by far my favorite fine dining Italian restaurant in the Metro Detroit area. My favorite entree is the pasta trio. I usually get a half order and it is delicious. There are nightly specials and I have never had a dish I didn't enjoy. There is an extensive wine list or you can bring your own wine for a $35 corkage charge. We've always had excellent service. The ambiance in the restaurant is great as well as the outdoor elevated patio. The patio has a view of a wooded area and relaxing stream. The real treat on this visit was the live music. It was the B Side with lead singer Cat Wiley. She has an excellent voice and the band plays a great variety of music. They started at 7 p.m. and played three sets. They perform once a month, usually on a Thursday. We are going again next month with a group of eight for a wonderful dining experience and fun entertainment.

If it wasn't for the dessert and coffee drink it would be - stars. We had empty bread plates, others got bread baskets, we did not. The appetizer "scampi" came with tasteless red sauce and the calamari textured like rubber bands. The salad "gorgonzola" was yellow and soft, yuck. The tableside pasta carbonara had hard noodles and was cold. The table was not bussed unless we asked. The dirty table picture attached here I counted the server walk by 14 times, and others servers/bussers 5 before we had to ask again to clear the table. I also heard a server yelling at the, who I think was, owner about the poor quality of food. The only saving grace was the dessert and coffee drinks. Yikes, I would rather have spent several hundred at Olive Garden. A definite off night or this place has just plain garbage food. PS it was not busy at all, so no excuse for lack of labor.

Good vibe, good food, good drinks. The service was great, our waiter was so attentive and recited all of our meals with the perfect Italian touch! Can't complain about anything here!

Was invited to a Bday dinner here party of 10. Onto the good our waitress was great attentive, friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu, we ordered Carpaccio Di Polpo-marinated octopus with lemon, olive oil and herbs. It was very good small portions for sure. Spinach salad with grilled shrimp and a chefs special that night pasta with lobster. On the first try pasta was uneatable due to too much salt, no problem they redid it right away and it was great. Also they do have a prosciutto stand where they can slice it up for you portion style as an app it was very fresh and flavorful. They thing that I didn't like was the decor it felt rundown, definitely not a posh hip place to be or to be seen. This is where you would take your grandma for dinner.

Visited Bologna for our anniversary and it did not disappoint!…read more I saw online you could make reservations but you had to put down a $20 deposit, yikes. We took our chances and came on a Saturday night at 5p. Thankfully the place wasn't busy yet. We got a table in the back entrance and it was perfect. Very romantic with the lighting and intimate dining experience. By the time 530p-6p rolled around it was pretty packed. Our waitress was great - attentive and welcoming. Large menu with lots of options both food and drink. The bread and oil were divine. We went with the happy hour menu which was impressive to see on a weekend. The happy hour menu was amazing - a ton of drink and food options. We were able to order two cocktails and 4 food items all for about $60! The limoncello spritz and limoncello martini were both so delicious and balanced. Ordered the tomato and cucumber salad, carciofi fritti artichoke, mussels, and the meatball trio. I am still dreaming of this meal and would eat it again in a heartbeat! Everything was a good portion size even for happy hour and so delicious. Meatballs were tender, the artichoke had an amazing breading on it, the mussels were fresh, and the salad was refreshing. We were so full afterwards and had to decline dessert. Downstairs has the restrooms but there was a single stall restroom on the main dining floor too. In the front is more of a bar type seating, middle houses the kitchen and the back is the more moody dining room. Metered parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Such a great spot in downtown Rochester!

The only nice thing I can say about it is that the bread (pizza dough?) was great and so was the staff. I tried to stay positive, but once I tried the Calamari Captain I knew this whole night was likely heading sideways. It did not taste fresh. Then I had the meat ravioli. The sauce tasted like a sickly sweet tomato concentrate (pizza sauce?) - I can't figure this place out. This is one and done.

We made reservations and arrived and got seated. At first, everything was great. The server came and got our drinks and bread right away and asked what we wanted for the app. We put two apps in and when he came back with the drinks we put the pasta in. We asked for more bread and he said he will bring it. This is where it went wrong. About 10 minutes later he passed us to go to his table behind us and said oh yeah the bread Im getting that and your refilled drinks. After that we did not see this guy for almost the remainder of the service. We ate the apps and then still no drinks. We waited for him to come back in this cornered area and did not see him. The manager brought the pasta and they forgot the chicken for my husband. He got us refills and my husband told Him and he said "well I can put in an order and then you can just add it to the pasta". He brought the chicken out 14 minutes later and his pasta was cold. He had waited to eat it. Still no server or bread. Finally the waitress that was in that area asked us if we needed anything. I told her we were waiting for the read for a long time and that we havent seen the waiter since he took our order. He never came when the food came. Just as we said that he walked over and said oh Im getting the bread. They said the bread was taking a while. As he said that, the manager brought the table next to us some bread. Then the waitress brought some for her new table. We waited again. She ended up giving us her bread and then got new bred. He finally came with the bill and said oh did you want dessert? We obviously didn't as we didn't even see him the whole time. He took forever to bring us the change. This is the second time that the service has not been great. The food is great and tastes great. The restaurant is nice and clean and I like the atmosphere. I just feel like paying $72 for this service wasn't great.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with patrons engaged in conversation and enjoying their meals. Our waitress, a young and accommodating individual, introduced herself and made us feel at ease. She informed us of the menu's offerings and their respective preparations. We opted for a Michigan salad, accompanied by succulent strips of lightly coated chicken, and a cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. The crust was exceptionally delectable, exhibiting a firm texture reminiscent of New York-style pizza. Carole remarked on the exquisite flavor of the tomato sauce. I enhanced my pizza with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, resulting in a delightful combination. Carole maintained a cheerful demeanor throughout our dining experience. The restaurant boasts ample parking facilities in the vicinity. Carole and I intend to return in the future to explore additional menu items.
