Nonna's recently has had some updates and the inside is beautiful- think simply modern with Italian comfort. Our server was kind and look great care of us. The eggplant parmesan was absolutely delicious and the perfect level of crisp. We couldn't decide on just one dessert and both were a wonderful finish. The tiramisu was a huge piece and delightful. First time back in 4 years and Nonna's has grown as word got around. Place was packed at 5PM with customers waiting. Started with the warm bread and seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. Had the calamari appetizer which was the size of an entree and delicious. read more

In the mood for Italian so we tried this resturant. The inside dining area is nice, menu selection good, prices decent and food is very good. The White Clam Linguini we had was excellent and the Orecchiette Pasta was also good but nothing like the linguini. The salads and bread were also great. Overall, the staff is friendly but not as attentive as we would have liked (e.g. we asked for ice tea refills and never got them and check backs with us were not frequent). We still did have a good experience and I probably would put this resturant at a 4-5 star if our service was a little better. read more

Nice bright interior and friendly service. It's a little pricy for a strip mall Italian place but the food was very good. We were given a bread basket with butter but what stood out was the herbed olive oil at the table. That was very good. I ordered the steak siciliano which was cooked perfectly medium as I requested however you could taste the gas from the broiler or whatever cooktop they were using. A little off putting on some bites but still overall a pretty good meal. You get a choice of soup or salad with the entree and I really enjoyed the minestrone soup. My son had the kids spaghetti and meatball which I thought was a generous portion for $10. I would return to try their pizza and maybe some other menu items. read more

I was quite disappointed the last time I ordered from here. We got the lasagna, straciatella soup, artichoke appetizer, antipasto salad and tiramisu. The lasagna noodles were overcooked, it was swimming in sauce and the sauce was not as good as it was formerly. The house dressing for the salad was heavy on the oil and light on the vinegar and flavor. Last, the herb and olive oil for dipping bread was bland, possibly the herbs had not had enough time to infuse the oil. All in all, we were underwhelmed. The renovations inside are lovely, but I'm sad that the prices of the food have gone up while quality has gone down. read more

Food and service are not good. Ordered linguine in white clam sauce. It is a shame what you get five clams and the rest is canned clams. It smell so fish and also my wife ordered oricete pasta a quarter of sausage and two specs of rapini in it I will not say the places is expensive but seriously they charge enough to do the right thing all you taste. Stopped on a Wednesday for lunch and arrived just after noon. We were greeted by a sweet, young girl who seemed eager to please. She told us to sit wherever we'd like. Our attentive sever, Sergio, then came over with some menus and took our drink orders. What struck me was the really great deals for their lunch specials, served Monday - Friday 11am - 3pm. As they came out, one by one, they looked amazing and like you couldn't go wrong. Our reason for the visit was to try their Shrimp fra Diavolo so that's exactly what we did. It was excellent, although, not for the faint of heart! By the end, it was quite kicky and had caught up to us both but oh so flavorful and worthy of continuous bites. I could not put my fork down! The bread and salad was good too but this dish definitely stood out on its own. Bravo, Nonna's! We will surely be back. read more

The food is great . I feel like they are being cheap with the can pop . You have the beautiful remodel restaurant and go cheap on the pop . This is such a turn off . We will not be back for this reason . We can go to any other Italian restaurant for the same price and get all you can drink pop . The sad thing is they gave my kids fountain pop so you know they have the option to do it . The waitress didn't even tell us it was can pop when we ordered she just brought it . We made reservations for 5:30 for my 70th birthday. They sat us quickly. We ordered pre drinks. All started out great. Our waitress Ava or Eva was the best. The apps came they were delicious, then it was time to order dinner. I ordered the meat ravioli, my sister ordered the gnocchi, the rest of my family ordered their meal. Still all good! Then Ava came to the table and said that they were out of gnocchi and the meat ravioli. AT AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT !!Ok so we ordered a veal dish, both of us.... She came to the table and said we are out of the veal!!!!! WHAT!!!!!! So my sister and I ordered for the 3rd time. I ordered a chicken dish that was cold and not good and my sister ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. She took a bite and said it was awful. I ate a few pieces of my chicken and hated it. By then we were so upset we didn't eat anything else. So at this point the dinner was very disappointing. Ava came with the dessert menu. With all that went on for my dinner, I was thinking maybe a reprieve by offering something sweet.... nothing. So I ordered some ice cream that we paid for. So it's pretty bad when they told me that they would be closed for the rest of the week !! So that's the answer why they were out of a lot of their dishes. That should not be an excuse! So have wanted to eat here for a while due to the good reviews. Let's just say this Italian, wished he stayed home. First off the service was not up to par. Our waitress took about 10 minutes just to get drink and app orders. Wanted to order the mini arincini and was told in a tone of voice like we should have known they were out of stock, so we got the standard arincini. After about another 10 minutes, she comes back to get our dinner order, mind you we haven't even received our drinks yet. My wife and I both ordered the Nonna's Trio so we could try different things. She brought over our salads and soup, which at this point I asked if we could get our drinks, which she acted like we never even ordered them. The Caesar salad was good, the Italian Egg Drop Soup was very weird. The Arincini came out shortly thereafter, which was ok. It wasn't bad, it just didn't knock my socks off. Once dinner came, oh dear. First the chicken parm, the breading was soaked in sauce and no longer crispy. The chicken itself was tough. The Manicotti was ok, again it didn't knock my socks off. The lasagna, was on par with what you get at Olive Garden. The sauce on it tasted like Chef Boyardee. The waitress after dropping our food off, was unseen until she came to drop off the check, at which point we had to ask for pop refills. She didn't get a full tip as her service was quite lacking, and this restaurant will not be revised by us again. So sad because I really wanted to like this place! read more

This establishment is one of the finest Italian/Sicilian restaurants in the area. The food is fantastic as it is all homemade. They have a plethora of delicacies from authentic recipes from Sicily which give the customers more choices than one would get at a regular Italian restaurant. For starters - it was my birthday so this was the place I wanted to have dinner at. That being said, when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised by the many changes with the inside appearance. But - it seemed very loud! We were seated at a table for two that was positioned completely opposite of other tables so it was awkward walking in between them. All during our meal there was extremely annoying, pounding music playing and if we didn't know any better we would have thought we were at a nightclub instead of a fine dining restaurant. Gone was the beautiful Italian music that made us want to come here in the first place. You felt like you were in Italy for a moment... Then the changes with the food - there were 5, yes 5 shrimp that were in my Shrimp fra Diavolo and it looked like the linguine had been downsized. The price did not reflect any differently though. We were both just so disappointed after being here so many other times before and enjoying it. Sad to say we will probably not return. I want a relaxing dinner out so any establishment that doesn't have that type of vibe is a no-go for me. read more
