She informed us of the menu's offerings and their respective preparations. We opted for a Michigan salad, accompanied by succulent strips of lightly coated chicken, and a cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza. The crust was exceptionally delectable, exhibiting a firm texture reminiscent of New York-style pizza. Carole remarked on the exquisite flavor of the tomato sauce. I enhanced my pizza with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, resulting in a delightful combination. Carole maintained a cheerful demeanor throughout our dining experience. The restaurant boasts ample parking facilities in the vicinity. Carole and I intend to return in the future to explore additional menu items. We ordered 2 XL pepperoni pizzas to go. The pizza was extremely thin, which is fine if you're expecting that, but it also had hardly any pepperonis on it. We had some hungry people here so I didn't get a photo of the whole pizza, but this piece is a fairly accurate representation - some pieces would have had even less pepperoni on them. Stopped by Gergino's Pizza recently and was helped by Cooper, who was awesome from start to finish. Super friendly, quick with the order, and genuinely great at customer service. He kept things moving even when the line got long. One thing that actually made the visit even funnier was our quick convo -- turns out Cooper is definitely not a fan of Sean "Diddy" Combs. Fresh pizza, delicate flavors, without the mounds of salt and sugar. Someone believes in the process of making pizza more than just duplicating the ingredients from other competitors. I didn't dine in but I wished I had the time too. Hopefully you trust me when I say the experience of eating this food brings a wholesome mood to those dining with you. The flavors and ingredients hits differently in a light and satisfying way. I didn't feel like I stuffed myself but I felt full and my family and I enjoyed complimenting the pizza as it exceeded our expectations. I have to also tell you that Jackie (not sure I spelled it correctly?) was customer service incarnated! What a pleasure to speak to. Have been going to Georgios for a number of years. We usually look forward to it. The pizza, salad and gnocchi pasta are great. Service has always been "good". However, in most recent visit service was "awful" which resulted in poor food (food not delivered, burned/stale rolls, no refills, etc.). Reached out to Georgios to let them know and never heard back. Hence, "may" return/recommend but probably not as my impression is that Gerorgio's simply doesn't care. read more

This is a mom and pop pizza joint. I went here with a friend and his kids a while back. They have the cozy and familiar red and white checkered paper. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and cheesy bread, because pizza alone isn't enough carbs for one meal. The kids and my friend love this place and think the pizza is fantastic. The pizza wasn't bad. The knots and cheese bread are also decent. Wasn't really blown away and didn't feel inclined to eat more than a side, then again there was a ton of It feels like a warm and cozy spot to have a pie or get some true authentic Italian pizza or pasta from for sure. It will put you in a carb coma, no doubt. If I lived closer, I would possibly get another pie. I guess it could be the best pizza in Rochester. I will say that their pepperoni is legit, it curls up after it's baked, you know that's a good sign. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday night after my kids baseball game 40 minutes before closing time(9:50pm). Website and door state 10:30pm is closing time. Worker said they were not taking any more orders. I would understand 15-20 minutes before closing but 40 minutes! Horrible customer service!! read more

I ordered delivery from the Georgia website, and the pizza arrived cold and was horrible. For two 14" pizzas and microwaved chicken tenders for $90, to arrive cold I just threw in the trash and re ordered. If you want delivery, go with anywhere else as I really hope no one else gets cold and disappointing pizza. read more

Hot pizza! We have a very picky little girl. She loved the knots and the pizza. We have gone many places where she had 2 or 3 bites and didn't want anymore. The waitress was very nice and even talked with my daughter about random stuff that my daughter brought up. The store was like any other pizza place, red and green walls, trying to set the Italian them. I am usually more concerned about the food. Hot and has flavor is what I like. read more

Well...im not sure it's the "best" pie in Rochester but I'd say it's pretty solid. One thing is for sure...the service was top shelf. We ordered some wings ahead of time however they o my came in 5's 10's and 20 or something like that. We asked jokingly for 6 and guess what...she brought us out 6! That's going the extra mile for sure. My salad was fresh and despite my burying it In ranch dressing...it was delicious and full of fresh veggies. I moved from Chicago recently and was so sad that I wouldn't be able to get good pizza anywhere ever again (dramatic, I know BUT CHANGE IS HARD OKAY) :) Well, this is without a doubt my new go to place! I was so incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I thought it would be nice to come to this pizza restaurant because I have not had it before, and it had a giant sign on the front window saying it was voted Rochester's favorite pizza. The menu was different from the traditional pizza restaurant. It offered things that I like but are not common at other pizza restaurants. Because of that, I figured why not order things that I never order to make this a complete and new experience. That resulted in an order of the Breaded Fried Ravioli and the Philly Cheesesteak Calzone. The ravioli was stuffed with all things that I like including ricotta, Monterey Jack, jalapeño, red pepper, and onion. It came with a side of tomato basil sauce for dipping. The ravioli was really tough around the edges. It seemed like it was over fried. If the ravioli was cooked better and it had more sauce, I would have enjoyed it more. The calzone was a disaster. It looked amazing when the waitress brought it out. But as soon as I cut into it, it was a nightmare. A pool of all the juices came flowing out onto the tray. This was really disturbing to me because of the amount of juices that came out. I honestly could have filled up a 12 ounce cup up to the top. It makes me wonder when Rochester voted this pizza place as number one, werethe calzones considered. read more

Been a long time coming to Georgios... BUT that ended yesterday. Walked in with a party of 5 on a wed for 1/2 off pasta night that had been offered for years. No longer offered. And could not or let's call it what it is... would NOT separate a bill for us. The place was literally empty... no surprise... Absolutely stoked that I tried this place today. We moved here about 6 months ago and stopped by on a whim last week for some pizza and salad. I walked in to order and was super excited they had hot slices available for lunch. We had the cheese slice, pepperoni and a white pizza with ricotta cheese. All were incredible and exactly what I was looking for! Soooo good! This will be a regular go to for me. Dined in this evening and had a great experience. The dining room was full but the staff was super helpful and complimentary in every way. Ava was our server and she was fantastic. The food from start to finish was perfect. Fresh high quality ingredients and you can tell the kitchen staff paid attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious, and my family enjoyed the time and pleasure with being there. The staff is very friendly.

Pizza: I have worked in restaurants where they used premade frozen dough discs for their pizza that they just add stuff to, basically a frozen pizza minus the toppings. I am pretty sure this is the case here, regardless the crust was horrible and the toppings where typical cheap ingredients. Alfredo: Just passable, judging by the rest of the food I wouldn't be surprised if the sauce wasn't from a jar Wings: Soft and mushy with unoriginal generic sauce, honestly, trying to think of how they could have been cooked makes me think they were microwaved. Garlic knots: This excited me, I miss garlic knots from my time in New York. These tasted nothing like any garlic knot I have ever had, in fact the dough reminded my of Pillsbury dough. read more

If you're looking for traditional, thin crust pizza, look no further! Each signature pizza they have is full of flavor and you will not want to stop eating it. Salads are fresh and nice compliment to the authentic flavors. My favorite is the meatball pizza and the Bianca pizza. Garlic knots are great, just feels like a lot of bread when ordered with the pizza. I gave Georgios 4 stars for the price and the wait time (for delivery and pick-up.) Their prices are higher than most and delivery has taken an hour before. Pick-up time is over 25 minutes. I believe this is because they are very popular in the area. read more

Passing by this place so we figured why not try it. Although we read the reviews and they weren't great we thought let's give them the benefit of the doubt and try it. We ordered a stuffed pizza and as you can see in the picture it was burnt at the bottom the flavor was mediocre. Also the waiter was extremely nice as we sat down and once the food was brought he disappeared and no one else checked on us at all. As we're leaving we left the pizza and didn't even ask for a carry out box as I also flipped over one of the slices so that they can see how burnt it was. Should have gotten the hint from other peoples bad experiences and shouldn't have gone there but we will never go back again. read more

My friend reminded me of this pizza parlor just recently after a drunken stupor on Christmas Eve eve. We were making a list of the best of the best around Rochester and also dropping some historical tidbits about the area. Georgios had been a long time favorite, especially for my friend who grew up around Rochester. My personal favorites are the NY style hand-tossed brick oven pizza slices, specifically Cheese, Bianca and Veggie ($2.25, $2.75 and $3.75 a slice respectively). Georgios also features slice of the day for $3.75 a piece. The homemade pizza dough are made fresh daily and really delicious. The pizza slice portions are so huge (yes, HUGE, like your typical NY pizza slice) that one slice alone hits the spot every time. Dine-In specials are also one of my favorites: Mondays: Half-Off Large 2-topping Pizza Tuesdays: Cheese Slice (99 cents) Thursdays: Wings (40 cents) When in Downtown Rochester, visit this pizza parlor for a slice or two. read more
