Great atmosphere, wonderful entertainment and very helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful venue to spend a couple of hours with family and friends. Don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The entertainment was wonderful and complimented by an excellent and helpful staff. From the moment you walk thru the door, to your seat and thru the food service. Top notch staff. Will return again, no question about it.

My lady and I enjoyed our return to the Silver Star after 3 years. We chose the Ultimate Hits show featuring rock hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's. When we arrived this past Friday (August 4th) evening, we noticed the bar was no longer there. We were informed that our servers (they were wonderful, not to mention efficient) would be available to take cocktail orders at our table and this worked out fine. The buffet was still there and the fare was good overall except for the pasta which was fairly salty. Their famous layered chocolate cream cake was delicious as always and our iced water tumblers were never empty. The show was absolutely fantastic as always with the exception of the underwhelming jokes. The artists were enthusiastic and had no problem getting us audience members to engage with them. The various song selections were well sung and played and much appreciated by those of us in the audience. The band and vocalists were at the TOP of their game during this Ultimate Hits show! Note: The Elvis impersonator was damned good! A BIG thank you to the band, vocalists and the outstanding staff at The Silver Star! We're looking forward to attending additional shows in the near future!

Green salad, eggs, beets, red onion, croutons, and crackers. Ranch dressing, of course...fresh fruit. Actually a nice salad.

Look, it's not Branson. It's not in the same atmosphere as Vegas...it's Mesa. But it was fun and pretty OK food. Such awesome hostesses and servers. We had a fun date night and are planning to bring the whole family next time and enjoy ourselves again! So yes, I'd recommend the Silver Star Theater. 4 star because the food was average to middlin'. Food: I would say if you're a foodie, this is not the place for you. If you just want something to taste ok and fill you up, you're home Just think high school cafeteria food vibes. The food was nice and hot. The rolls were warm. The salad bar was your average salad bar dressings came in packets. The fruit on the salad bar, I would say, would be your average Costco tub or cut-up fruit. The drinks were served with a smile. The chocolate cake is served at your table before you get there, so if you want to eat dessert first, you're in luck! Service: Everyone was super friendly, and my husband and I were the only brown middle-aged couple there. Our server was nice, and so were the hostesses and other kitchen helpers. Ambiance: I would say the perfect temperature and the lighting was nice and soft. It wasn't a loud crowd, so that was nice. There is also a store, lols. They know their audience!

Hark, my man! Let it…read morebe known throughout the kingdom that Medieval Times knows how to put on a damn show. We went to the 6:45 tournament on a Saturday night for my nephews birthday, and from the second I walked into the castle, the energy was buzzing. Palpable. The wenches and barkeeps were singing, chanting and yelling. Children were running around. Birthday parties were everywhere. Young adults were drinking and carrying on. Some folks had even come dressed for the medieval occasion. But every man, woman and child in that castle had one thing in common: we were ready for the tournament. While we waited in the great hall, the people drank. They sang. They took photographs. They were merry. Frankly, it felt less like waiting for a dinner show and more like the whole kingdom had gathered because somebody was about to get their ass jousted. Then the doors opened. Into the arena we went, where we were greeted with excellent service. And I have to give Medieval Times credit for authenticity because some of these servers looked a little too much like they actually came from the medieval era. But friendly? As can be. And the drinks kept flowing. The Pepsi was heavy and sweet. The lemonade was tart, sweet and heavy. The tomato soup was, frankly, quite disgusting. But this ain't a food review. The Texas toast was excellent because nothing beats Texas toast, and the half chicken was moist with good flavor on the skin. Not quite crispy, but perfectly respectable. Besides, the feast is secondary. The action, my LIEGGAS. THE ACTION. Jousting. Sword fighting. Horses. Knights talking reckless to one another. The crowd screaming like we had personally pledged fealty to these men. Our section belonged to the Yellow Knight, so naturally we rode with Yellow. Or at least I did initially. At one point, the Yellow Knight, a rather swarthy-looking gentleman who had apparently grown entirely too comfortable with his station in the kingdom, began throwing roses toward our section. One of those roses went to my wife. Now. I cannot prove that the Yellow Knight specifically selected my wife. I cannot prove that there was intent behind the throw. I cannot prove that this man looked across that arena, saw another man's wife and decided that chivalry demanded he shoot his shot. But I know what I saw. And quite frankly, it upset me for the remainder of the tournament. I had been cheering for this man. Yelling for this man. Pledging my temporary allegiance to this man. And this medieval SOB repaid my loyalty by throwing a rose at my wife. Sir, have you no honor? Nevertheless, my nephew had a wonderful birthday, our entire party had a fantastic time, the atmosphere was electric, the service was excellent, and the tournament was far more entertaining than I expected and I had high hopes. Medieval Times is an absolute blast. Five stars. My only complaint is that I am reasonably certain the Yellow Knight was trying to steal my wife. HUZZAH.

We just had to show our confirmation email, and they gave us the accessories included with our celebration package before directing us to the line for our crown photos. There was a strong "livestock" smell when we first arrived, but it gradually dissipated as the night went on. The lobby is huge and has plenty of space to grab drinks before the show. We were running close to showtime, and the staff let us know that we could order drinks at our seats. We were then guided to our section and warmly greeted by the host. The service throughout the evening was great. It started with a selection of soft drinks, followed by garlic bread, tomato-based soup, a quarter chicken, potatoes, and corn. Another server came by to take our adult drink orders, and there was a fun variety of souvenir cups available to take home. The show itself was very impressive, featuring dramatic lighting, storytelling, acrobatics, exciting dueling stunts, and a beautiful flying falcon display. I absolutely loved seeing the elaborate costumes worn by the guests and all the festive accessories that added to the atmosphere. Dessert included a piece of cake and a Boston cream pastry. Unfortunately, I was already way too full to really enjoy dessert, but I'll plan better next time! Our photos we took at the beginning of evening were brought to our seats before end of show, which was a nice touch. After the show, there were plenty of photo-op areas to take advantage of. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Medieval Times for couples, celebrations, or anyone looking to get out and do something fun and different. It was a memorable experience, and we'd happily go again!

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. All in all, it's a really good establishment with a parking lot and there are other places to dine and eat, near the establishment.

I know the drill so I ordered as soon as I sat down so I would not disturb other patrons who are there to see the headliner, not the club staff. Where do I start with my annoyance? The $21.95 Nachos or the $8 Diet Coke? My bad, the nachos are only $17.95, the extra $4 was for guacamole. My bill was $41 for just me at a single table. Or my extra annoyance at the waitress at the next table that stood in front of me while Mark Curry was performing? Not only was she blocking my view, she was loud so I couldn't hear some of his set. Like girl, you work here so lower it a few levels and get out the way? Ugh! Unless it's someone I HAVE to see, I won't be back anytime soon. See pics for the overpriced nachos.

They also have limited engagements and monthly signatures, along with new releases of course. They always seem to have a good discount going on something, so if you're looking to spend under $10/ticket be sure to check their website or app for the best deals. This location has a full bar in the lobby with many regional beers on tap. You can also order food while in the theater and the friendly servers will bring it to the table between each pair of seats! Wednesdays they have a $5 menu for popcorn, pretzels and more. This is one of few places I can eat popcorn without any digestion issues...not something I can say at the larger rival theaters! The theaters are clean and spacious. While the chairs don't have automated controls to recline, they are large, comfortable and spaced apart so you're not rubbing elbows with the stranger next you. They have a lot of quirky and nostalgic advertisements and videos to watch before the movie starts. You may enjoy these more than your feature film! A few drawbacks are 1) the theaters are smaller than most...so if you're looking to watch a hot new release it may be hard to find seats during prime time. 2) Given the smaller theater, the screen is also on the smaller size. 3) As they deliver food during the movies, you may have workers walking by you often depending your seat choice. Their system isn't foolproof as I had them deliver me food for other people and watch my food go to other people. Overall, if you're looking to avoid the larger theaters and have some older-fashioned fun, this is a great place to visit!

My husband and I came here for his birthday to see Steve Byrne…read more We love comedy but we have littles and don't get out much. They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!
