This place was a blast. Phil helped us- great job Phil, he was amazing. We tried some bowling, bumpers and bowling assist platforms were used for the little one. Some clean and working arcade games. Lots of other places have dirty old poorly maintained machines but here was the opposite. Built up some tickets doing that and traded our ticket for some small prizes and candy. I would totally recommend this spot. Very fun and not overly priced for yow long we spent going nuts here. read more

Need a place to hang out? Or a place to celebrate someone's birthday? This would be it. They have bowling, glow golf, a movie theatre, gaming area and of course some food to order. For birthday parties they have a couple rooms available but if those are booked then some open tables that are designated with decoration and a reserved sign. Their parties include fresh pizza from their kitchen, popcorn and candies for snack, and soda/drink machines, and even fresh cut fruit (but this one must be reserved ahead of time along with a few other items if doing a party). Staff were friendly from the manager Laura to their worker Ari. My kiddo has been here for a couple field trips to watch movies and play games and loved it. Their VR seemed a little big for kids and a little old looking. They had a couple ring toss machines where one had 2 rings and the other had like 20. I have never been to a fat cats until a few weeks back. My son and i went to take advantage of 5 dollar movie Tuesdays. So we had went to see zootopia 2. The place looked a bit dated but we were just there for the movies. Was lucky enough to order our popcorn and drinks with a very nice gentleman that offered us these cool popcorn buckets that they were trying to get rid of(how to train your dragon/ and a wicked cup) my son loves wicked so he was pretty excited for the cup. And me for the popcorn bucket because i will forever have a cool bucket at home now. The seats were okay. Nothing over the top. Definitely will be back in the future! read more

I have had nothing but great experiences at this Fat Cats location! The $5 movie Tuesdays cannot be beat! When we have brought our daughter, we be sure to add the $10 game card at check out so we can play some of the arcade games before our movie. The seats are nice and recline and they're made of "leather". We also love the prices, not nearly as expensive as other movie theaters. We recently had a family night at FatCats Gilbert. We booked an hour of bowling on a Saturday for the three of us online. On the weekends, bowling is $50 per lane for one hour and $30 per lane Mondays to Thursdays. Both prices include shoes. We felt this was pretty reasonable as you can have up to 6 guests per lane. When we arrived, FatCats was busy. Fortunately, they had a separate line for bowling. We checked in with a staff member who gave us our shoes and directed us to our lane. The lanes are pretty standard, but I think they have glow in the dark after certain hours? We had a lot of fun and even let our competitive sides come out. It's been so long since we've played. We didn't stay to play any of the other games, but would return to either bowl again or watch a movie. read more

Saw 28 years later here last night and it started our great. The employee at the front was nice and got us our tickets right away. We had an hour until the movie started so we just hung out. About 15 mins before the movie started we bought snacks and drinks. This employee was also friendly and fast. There was no one scanning the movie tickets so we just walked in along with some other people. We found our movie room easily, then our seats, and finally sat down. The seats felt sticky and the floors still had trash. The movie was good but the theater felt way too warm and it started to get hot. When the movie was over we walked out the room and went to the bathroom and the bathrooms were disgusting! There was dirty toilet paper all over the floor and the dirty paper towels were just hanging out outside the trash cans. There was also a dirty glass with beer just chilling on the sink. It was shocking to see how dirty the bathroom was and I heard several other ladies say the same thing. This was my first time coming to this theater and will be my last. I'd rather spend full price at a clean theater then pay the $5 to come here. read more

People like them and their young employees need to learn what customer service is ! They couldn't even let the father explain or even acknowledge and take accountability that they made the mistake. Why would he take her to the men's restroom if they have urinals ? On top of that even if they did have a family restroom maybe the guy didn't see that there was a family restroom and even if it was occupied he would have still needed to take his poor daughter to the restroom. I mean come on the lack of compassion for the child and the lack of common sense is crazy ! Went to Fat Cats last month for the first time with my husband and four boys and we had a great time watching a movie, then staying after to play the arcade. Definitely got our moneys worth and made a great family memory. Justin helped us with concessions and was very friendly, helpful and kind. Poor management. My daughter was accosted by management for looking at her phone. She (minor) was stopped at the bathroom and asked to show her phone. To make sure she didn't record the movie; manage wouldn't talk to me (parent) as I asked him why. He stated, they saw her record the movie. She said no but he was quite aggressive and not professional. She showed him her phone and there was nothing and yet, he didn't apologize for his behavior. I ask him, did staff see this happen and then he stated that someone saw her open her phone and they made a complaint. Which I said, you didn't see it, first hand. The food was good and the service was friendly. They have a good beer selection with lots of drafts and even more cans. The theatre unfortunately was pretty dirty and worn down. The seats are showing lots of wear, they overall just didn't feel clean, and there was food and trash on the floor. Outside in the hallway there were pallets and stacks of stuff. Not a bad place overall but I think you're way better off going to the Fat Cats in Mesa 10 minutes away. It's far larger and brand new and clean. read more

Pretty cool place to hang out with the family on the weekend. Stopped by on a Saturday around 5pm and this place was busy busy! We were here for bowling and there was about a 2 hour wait. We decided to wait and just play some arcade games until our bowling lane was available. The arcade area is pretty small but there are several different types of machine games. They also have a movie theater and glow in the dark mini golf at a additional cost. The lines to purchase bowling, movie tickets, shoes, etc. can be a little hectic as there are people walking around everywhere. There really is no point of direction as to where you can purchase what.. and on a busy Saturday, this can be quite a hot mess as people begin to cut. Our wait was a little less then expected and they called us up. All the employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We decided we wanted to eat while we played and so we ordered some food. One order of chicken wings Two orders of chicken tenders Two burgers The food was surprisingly pretty good. The burgers were big and the buns were not dry (yay). The chicken tenders were good and the wings were great. They wings were also a pretty good size and not small. First time celebrating a birthday outside the home. We have a new tradition by celebrating with Fat Cats! The communication before the event was great! We were greeted by Alyssa and Ben upon our arrival. They helped the birthday boy feel special and took us to our lanes which were cutely decorated in his color theme. Alyssa and Ben were so friendly and accommodating. They were great hosts and helped our party run smoothly. The food was fantastic! We started with a vegetable platter and fruit platter. This place was very fun. But also very loud. We really wanted to bowl but all the lanes were full and it was a hour and a half wait. So we did the putt putt and games instead. This is a tough on the cusp of being a great place until the series of unfortunate events happened... We went to Fat Cat's to watch the new Adam's Family 2 movie. We arrived and purchased our tickets for the 3:20 show at 3:35 then went to consessions then making it to our seats at 3:40. We'll the move already started, we thought we missed just a minute or two. Nope 10 to 12 minutes of the movie! Which we found out later. The movie from what we saw was good, theater was clean and chairs all worked that we were in. After the movie I went to speak to a manager (blond hair) and explained what had happened. She stated that tickes should not be able to be purchased after 10 minutes of the start of the movie, yet we were able to. She apologized, we joked but I didnt feel whole from the experience in the end. I went to get our tickets to see if there was a time stamp, was it our fault or Fat Cat's? The ticket held no answers. When I was talking to the manager again, she stated there IS a glitch in their system that allowed them to purchase tickets AFTER 10 minutes and they were letting someone know. My wife and kids played a round of mini golf 9 holes. It was clean in the black light mini golf room. They also have bowling, arcade games and party rooms which we will never use because of what happened. So we were the glitch finders, brought it to their attention, YET there was no offer to make us whole. Yes I was being nice about the situation, yes we were joking about it, but no offer to make up for the fact that we missed important parts of the movie. The customer service was weird here. We asked one individual questions and she was able to answer our questions. Since we wanted to bowl she said we had to get in the other line where we could do everything in the other line. We get in the line and begins asking questions and the guy was saying he could only assist with bowling. So note that if you are bowling get in line otherwise you can use the machine to get the arcade card. The bartender was really nice as well. My rating is because of the guy that was rushing us to decide on bowling. Now to get past that part it's a cool setup because they have a movie theater in here as well. There is also glow in the dark mini golf. It's a great location for the family. Monday's they offer a family deal of bowling for up to 6 ppl plus a pizza for about $45 before taxes. Our family comes here about twice a month. One day for a movie and one Wednesday for half price arcade games. The staff is always very nice and makes you feel welcome. The food isn't so terrible and there's a full bar. The place is always clean especially for all the foot traffic it gets. Only real complaint is for some reason there is only one staff member working the prize for tickets area. This can quickly create a huge long line that seems to take forever. If they served food and drinks in the theater that would be awesome. Maybe some day? Overall the family and I really like FC. It is a great place for people of all ages to have fun. Wonderful family place! I would recommend this place to a small family with young children. Aged 5-7years old for the put-put and games (not many arcade games to choose from). Let me just start off with that our host for my sons birthday party today was beyond amazing. Parisa was so fun, warm and friendly to everyone including the kids and made sure every request was met and provided service with a smile. A true genuine person which any company would love to be the face of their company. As the first time I've ever been here it left a real lasting impression on me and my family and we will be back again for sure. Give this woman a raise! The pizza was fairly decent for being geared towards kids, they do have more adult options but the wings were fantastic, tried all the flavors and they didn't miss.
