I asked if this was American Junk Removal and the male replied yes but they had closed the business and were no longer operating and hung up. I needed a few random items removed--a King size mattress, odd thing such as a rake, shovel, cooler, old door mat, back yard picnic table, old linens, a few bags of trash, a broken door and chair... just JUNK I needed to get rid of. When I called David (the owner,) he gave me a rough estimate over the phone but said once he saw exactly what needed to be picked up, he would give the exact price. On Friday, I booked an appointment time of Sat 10AM. David and his assistant (sorry, can't recall his name!) were at my door at 10 on the dot. Luckily I was awake and functional lol. They were out in 14 mins TOTAL. David charged less than his original phone estimate, which I greatly appreciated, even though his original quote was more than fair and a bit more affordable than the other quotes I'd received. They were personable, respectful and professional. I'm so happy I contacted them to help me deal with the garbage cluttering my home and mental clarity. Seriously. The energy has shifted in my home, and I'm so thankful. Highly recommend!!

She then told me the alterations would be $80 for the skirt and $65 for the jumpsuit. I was surprised because the tulle only needed to be cut along with a slight hem on the lining. I was expecting a professional hem, not an unusually expensive alteration. I mentioned that the prices seemed high, so I decided to skip those items and asked about replacing the closure on one pair of pants instead. That's when she told me the seamstress wouldn't be there until Monday. I asked, "You're not the seamstress?" She said no. That left me wondering how she was able to quote exact prices for the other alterations if the person actually doing the work wasn't there. The interaction left me feeling confused and uncomfortable, and I decided to take my business elsewhere.
