There's another grassy area outside the actual gated field with trees and a path to walk your dog. Off to the side are bathrooms and a soda vending machine. There's a decent parking lot adjacent to the field. Although I will say, the abandoned building off to the side is kinda creepy come night time. Don't get lost in the one way streets or you'll be driving around all night (no joke). Not my first choice as far as fields are concerned but it makes my job more interesting.

Has many of these back to back. You can come and watch a game or even several. Even though these are mostly the soccer fields, other sports can be played here. It's also good for lacrosse. These sports each have similar fields, just having to change the nets. Cool area to look around and hang out after a game. The fields are located between the two old windmills. Also close to the ocean so after a game go to the beach. The Chalet has a restaurant with mostly seafood if you get hungry. Happens to be among many places in the park to play athletics. It's located in a pretty nice area of the park. This is also close to the old famous windmills.

On our last visit, we happened to need the restroom and pulled in The soccer fields to use them. This location is by far the cleanest public bathroom I've ever been into in San Francisco. There is also plenty of parking in the lot and although we came on a day that was drizzling, there were still people out using the fields. We actually ended up staying here for 20 or 30 minutes because there is a nice view of the windmill and the fields are very well taken care of. It's just another lovely little underrated spot in the park and as I looked out onto the fields to watch the people practicing, I can only imagine how amazing this location is for for official events and local leagues. It's great to be able to visit a city that truly cares about its residents and always be able to find new and amazing things no matter how many times you've been here.

The surrounding area also features a beach volleyball court, Tennis court, small Dog Park, Public restrooms, a kayak launching pier/dock (There's a small Kayak house, storing kayaks, canoes, & paddle-boards right behind the courts), a pavilion on the other side of the creek, walkways that lead all the way to the ballpark, & the infamous line of houseboats a long the creek. That have been there since the 60's This place is also the location of Klay Thompson's 2017 "Built w/ Chocolate Milk" commercial. This park is pretty well hidden from view in the Bayview District. It's a "full" sized soccer…read morepitch, but not really. I can drop-kick a soccer ball to the opposing team's penalty area from mine, and I can't do that on a standard field. This makes for very high scoring soccer games. 11 x 11 almost seems like too many people for this field. The artificial turf seems to be a little older FieldTurf than seen in some other city parks and is certainly much firmer. Cleats are almost not called for. Parking is relatively easy, though I would be a little worried at nighttime about security.

This park is an absolute gem…read more Recently I was on the market for a new apartment and somehow was lucky enough to land a community living situation in a mansion that happens to be RIGHT on this park. Having a dog, I rejoiced. Not only do we have a HUGE cement slide next to our house should we be too lazy to walk down the stairs to the baseball field, basketball court, tennis courts and soccer field AND a view that absolutely rivals the views from Dolores Park, BUT the community also hosts an amazing M, W, F exercise boot camp that allowed me to meet some of my fantastic new neighbors in the Bayview. The baseball and soccer lights are left on until 10:30pm most nights, so it's the ideal place to come to get in that late night game of Ultimate Frisbee while still having optimal parking. Check this park out. It's truly a diamond in the rough.

It was super hot so I was thankful for what little shade there was here. There is a basketball court, a playground, and a small lawn. Was nice to see families out and about and people getting some sun laying on the lawn. There was also some construction going on, wonder what they are working on.
