I love this park. It's huge. It's nice. It's clean. It's close by San Bruno Ave where eateries, Walgreens, NEMS, boba, bahn mi and supermarkets are. This is a great park for small picnics and small birthday parties. Lots of elders comes here for their morning walk and exercise. Be patience and nice to them. I see more of them playing on the playground than young kids LoLs Parking is so easy!!!! Street/residential parking, all day. Look out for street signs for street cleaning but even so, it's easy parking!!!

This place is like my second home. Been here ever since I was a little kid! I used to come here EVERY Wednesdays and Fridays back in high school to play basketball, and I still do! There's always friendly competition in the air and that's why I love this place. Since it's the only park with a indoor gym around this neighborhood, so everyone that lives around here comes here. Some of the people that come here are really friendly and some are just looking for trouble. They have a big grass field which I don't really trust playing around and small playground which isn't big enough for the amount of kids that come here often. The government needs to put more money into this place, and not other empty playgrounds. People always getting their stuff stolen here. You should NEVER leave your belonging in the bleachers, bring it with you where ever you go even if it's across the gym. If you bring you're own ball make sure you put it in a safe place or with your friend, there is no guarantees anything is ever safe at this park. People that work here aren't friendly, it's like they don't even want to be there. But they're cool because they're working there to keep the indoor gym open and supervise the area, which they do a bad job of.

We stumbled upon this simulator ride while walking around Pier 39 and decided to give it a try. It…read moreactually reminded us a lot of Disneyland's Soarin' Over California, but without the lines, we had the whole theater to ourselves, which is pretty amazing considering amount of tourists in SF. We ended up doing two rides over two days. The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

This is one of the many attractions at Pier 39. They have the flyer ride, they have a "7D…read moreexperience" which is like a "shooter" game on a giant screen, and then they also have two "escape rooms." Everybody here was very friendly. I did the flyer ride. It is about a seven or eight minute ride, It was a lot of fun. It's one of those where you sit in the seats, and then the floor drops out from under you, and it is like you are flying over the city. The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

The park is huge and museums, lakes, and cultural attractions like the Japanese Tea Garden, Conservatory of Flowers, the de Young Museum and the California Academy of Sciences. There are lots of park benches for sitting and beautiful water fountains to admire. There is a parking garage close by called the music concourse parking that costs $5 per hour. It's a lovely place to take a nice walk. The gardens are beautiful.

Then I kept going! When I got to the conservatory of flowers, I turned around and went all the way back and down past rainbow falls, Lloyd lake, past Hellman hollow to Spreckle's lake, said hello to the Bison and took a left and exited just past chain of lakes. What an adventure! I saw red tail hawks, blue jays, blue herons, all kinds of ducks, two turtles and of course the Bison. There are some beautiful views, art exhibitions, interactive displays and tons of photo worthy spaces. There are these beautiful pianos set up throughout the park for the public to play which I enjoyed practicing on. So many of the local plants are blooming so the flowers and trees sing with life. I stuck to the pedestrian trails but there are so many options off the beaten path for both hike vibes and bike rides. With the unique variety of San Francisco weather, it can go from overcast to sunny in a matter of moments, so it's always nice to have layers.
