Overall, my son and I enjoyed the game, but I would think the college level would deserve a better stadium. This arena needs a makeover. Decent sized parking lot. Tickets weren't too expensive. The staff was quite friendly, the DJ got better as the night got later, and we didn't get a chance to explore the whole new side. The floor and tables were filthy as if they'd never washed, pizza was dry and gross, and it was just overall a lousy experience. You also can't pay with anything but cash. This place has outlived its nostalgia value and really needs either a full overhaul or to be shut down. My daughter wants her own skate party this year and we're driving down to Austin instead. I'd never recommend Wheels for parties or even a casual skate, it's just dreadful and unpleasant inside with the smell and age, like it was frozen in the 90s.
