My experience at 180 Rodeo Rink is a 10 + and then some. I attended several events at the Rink where someone else hosted a party and I really enjoyed the vibe. The food and service was top rate. When my church ask me to assist with an end of the season Vacation Bible School skate party I reached out to 180 Roller Rink and was not disappointed. The owner help me put the party together. I sent her a flyer which had my date, time and the type of party I wanted and her exact words was " I got you" and "got" she dId. The VBS attendees had so much fun I actually think the adults had more fun then the kids. We skated, played game, and did karaok, the vibe was so high I felt like a super Star . My Pastor stopped by and the owner and the workers made me look like a double super star because of the way they treated us - we all felt so special I was recognized in church the next day because everyone had such a great time. I would recommend 180 Rodeo Rink all day, everyday. It's a great place to host a party or just go to one of the functions being held or just stop by and get a plate of food to gomight I add the food is Delicious with a capital "D". 180 Rodeo Rink please keep doing what you are doing- You are killing out here Thank you for all you do for the community!!! read more

Came here for an event with Yelp and had a wonderful time. We got to skate, make candles and enjoy some good food and good company. The owner was super nice and the DJ was bumping and all of the staff was super friendly. I agree that with other reviews that the rink is smaller, especially if a lot of people are skating, but it is good for beginners or people like myself who haven't been on a rink since high school. They have a variety of theme nights and Sundays are for families so I look forward to coming back again! read more

You defiantly felt the love and support here. I'm bringing my mom and grandmothers here once I have them in town on a visit. Talk about a Jack of ALL trades!!!! IT'S the M.O.E. V.I.C... for BRIT...TA...NY. Ms. Moe Vickers, who has been doing hair for 31 years!! Really, look like she only been living for 31 years. How in the world is that even possible lady? This Salon suites has be expanded into a Roller Rink with line dancing, and the American food you really want!!!! Like her boudin egg rolls, which are crispy shell, and perfection rice inside were my fav. I love the kool-aid, and the chicken quesadilla, which was also a favorite of mines. This is REAL GOURMET Chef prepared. I have never experience any roller rink like this, where it's a home cook, or shall I say professional chef-made meals at a skating rink. Ms. Moe also have a bar, & which after 9pm it's adults only skate and adult drinks are available to enjoy. Megan the Stallion DJ was spinning the records at this event, and boyfriend did NOT miss any hit's!!! Even the security guard got down and put on a dance show to "WHERE THEM FANS AT????" Brother man didn't miss a beat honey!!! Thanks to Ms. Moe Vickers for hiring a team that creates custom design shirts!! I never had a personalized designed on my shirt with my nickname on it. I was super excited about this beautiful gift... It was the best Elite party favor ever. ALL Elite was super excited about these 180 rodeo rink shirts, that we could add our very own design. Ms. Moe, you made my entire month!!! 180 Rodeo Rink offer after school programs, for a safe place for all school age kids to go for tutoring, and bible study, learning new line dances to new trending songs, like "where them fans at?", and Tamia 'Can't get enough". This non-profit is open 7 days a week, for your entertainment, and one of the rarest thing of all, it's FREE ENTRY EVERYDAY!!!!! That's right, It's absolutely FREE admissions to come and hang out, pray, study, and learn a new dance or two. Have a little funds to purchase a meal, and good eats, and skate for $15. If you choose to bring your own wheels, to roll bounce on, you'll pay $10 bucks. My family and friends, especially my son is looking forward to come and being a guest at 180 rodeo rink. My daughter's 4th birthday party at this venue was an absolute disaster and nothing like what was promised by the owner, Moe, when I booked. I confirmed multiple times -- in September and again in October -- that my reservation for 15 kids included free entry for all guests and only a discounted fee to skate after the 15-guest count was met. That was the only reason I booked, and no policy changes were ever communicated to me. On the day of the party (11/15), not one employee greeted us upon arrival. Minutes into setup, my guests were told they would have to pay an entry fee -- the exact opposite of what I was promised. The manager, "Unc," put up a chain blocking access and argued with me for over an hour in front of my guests and children. He stood in my personal space, was disrespectful, and attempted to gaslight me by claiming I "misunderstood." I had proof. He did not produce any. During this, I had to stand guard at the chain so my own invited guests could enter my child's party without being shaken down for money. The chain didn't come down until nearly two hours into my three-hour reservation. We were told pizza was included and ordered days in advance, yet it was late and incorrect -- and only then did I learn it wasn't even made on-site. Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty in an empty venue. My party host and the skate attendant tried to help where they could, but management's behavior and lack of communication overshadowed everything. To make matters worse, my niece fell and broke teeth while skating, and not a single employee checked on her or offered basic first aid like ice. At the end of the party, the manager finally apologized and admitted they failed to communicate the policy change and that I indeed booked under different terms. But by that point, the damage was done. My guests refused to purchase food or drinks after the way we were treated, and what should have been a celebration became stressful and humiliating. This business ruined my child's birthday. The lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and basic human decency was alarming. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did give this place another try. They made some updates. However; lots changed but not fully for the best. The chilli and cheese fries was good! The workers seemed confused a bit so that caused the service to slack. Prices are still reasonable and the Ambience and decor did not change much. Updates was made to the front but not on the outside, it's still easy to miss rather it is daylight or nighttime. Space has been added for rent for beauticians and barbers. They have really good drinks! On days where there are no special events, after 5pm is best if you are on a budget. Free to get in after 9pm on some days. 180 Rodeo Rink & Lounge ..... I visited and here is my review. I really drove from Mississippi to Texas excited to visit a black owned roller rink. I have been wanting to go skating for about two years now. I loved to skate as an adolescent. I haven't been on skates since I was about 14. You advertised great food that included crawfish and other seafood options. If I can find the menu I will drop it in the comments, Hookahs and different varieties of alcoholic beverages. I thought wow now that's what I'm taking about . I purposefully visited on adult night (Saturday 9-2 I believe) First off $15 to get in even if your not skating is crazy. My sister didn't skate and the food was pricey so she since she paid to get in and not skate she didn't want to buy anything. I specifically called and asked was crawfish going to be served and was told yes but after standing at your counter for over 5 minutes waiting to be helped a young lady who was sitting at the door on her phone finally asked if I needed something. 1 she didn't know the prices and asked the owner who said you didn't have crawfish. ‍ The skates differently need to be repaired and some need to be replaced. The pair I put on, the one learned noticeably to the right which made it hard to skate. The second pair was a lot better but one of them was missing a stopper. Videos played on the screen but didn't match tte music and then at a point there was no music for about 5 minutes. I had fun because I wanted to skate but I didn't get the advertised experience. I give your establishment a 3 out 10. The 3 is simply because the idea of this type of establishment is brilliant but the execution is not there . I have lots of friends and famiky in Houston and I unfortunately can't recommend they visit. They had a great menu but I didn't smell any food. There was also a drink menu but I didn't see any bottles. I just say a frozen drink machine. Not really a skate floor. It was not smooth was uneven in spots. Came to H-Town from Lake Charles LA for daughter's 19th BDay. Skating was on the To Do list and 180 Rodeo Rink certainly was a hit!!! We enjoyed the owner's hospitality, the customer service throughout, the atmosphere and DJ, and the other skaters. Everyone there was having a blast. I visited the rink for the first time and when I tell you I had a great time. The DJ was great and the environment was even better. I loved the food my personal favs were the wings, shrimp quesadilla and salmon bites!!! It was literally finger licking good. I even got an airbrush shirt taking me back to the early 2000s. This is a great spot to hang out at. We went and had so much fun. The rink is small, but you are still able to skate and have fun. The DJ plays music that caters to the crowd. We had drinks and small bites which were also good. The Owner is super friendly, She even got on the dance floor with us for a few line dances and introduced herself to us personally.
