    Bday girl skating
    Denise S.

I was skeptical about visiting here due to some of the mixed reviews. In our first visit, my kids received invites for a free skate through their school. We had no issues with the staff, they were all very nice. The kids enjoyed learning how to skate. The have devices for rent for beginners who don't want to try unassisted. My son had his sweater come up missing (highly recommend using lockers). However, it was later found and the staff saved it in lost & found. My daughter decided she wanted to celebrate her bday party there and we did the ultimate package for 10. You are only paying for those that are skating, so the headcount does not include people that are not skating. The package includes all decorations in one color, small plates, cups, napkins, two 'large' pizzas, and two pitchers of soda. They also put a pitcher of water on the table. Our hostess was very helpful and made the experience seamless. We ordered two additional pizzas to help feed the adults & the kids had a blast. The whole experience came in under $350 before the hostess tip. Great way to celebrate and each kid received a pass to return for free.

BEAUTIFUL wood rink floor! Wowwwwee! I had a nice time at this rink and I loved the smooth floors. But, I wish they had their own adult night. It's always all ages, which is super amazing for families because the space is wonderful! But, for skaters like myself aiming for child-free nights to get down with the local talent and learn some new things on wheels... that doesn't exist at this rink. The music is also fun, but picture more throwback rink music and less of today's music and less r&b/hip-hop. I don't mind that aspect, but as a rhythm and jam skater I do love a groovier mixture of tunes and rhythms. The staff was nice, lots of young kids just trying to earn some cash. I'm not sure I would go back unless it was during a time outside of a busy weekend.

    Skaters dancing to cool tunes!

A fun place to spend with family and friends. $5 Tuesday's is a great deal if you want a good workout. The weekend will be packed but nevertheless fun. We truly enjoy our time whenever we come and visit this place. The staff are helpful and accommodating and the DJ plays some awesome tunes. You cannot help but dance even in your seat If you haven't already, give it a chance.

Skate floor with lighter traffic after birthday parties were done on a Saturday

In the words on my 3rd grader, "this place looks like an old, dirty place from the outside, but the inside is so cool"! I brought my 8 and 6 year old here for their 1st skating experience and they really enjoyed it, as did I. The walkers offered are helpful for first timers, but you do have to pay an extra $5 for them and need to keep an eye on them so that other kids don't grab them. They do have #s on them so you can track them down if this happens. We went on a Saturday and enjoyed it around 5:00 after some of the birthday party crows lightened up.

My head wrap which is tightened and secured to my head & not a safety risk.

It's most unfortunate that I didn't even get the chance to experience this rink because I was told that my head wrap had to come off in order for me to skate. No, it's not in their dress code. And apparently, if it were for religious reasons, I'd be clear to wear it. Though it was explained that it was cultural, not religious, it didn't matter. Still as it stands -- though head wraps or scarves are not explicitly prohibited in the dress code -- I would have to do away with it to participate. I left. That my people, is a micro aggression. They gave my money back no problem, but I won't be back.

We hadn't been roller skating in 20 years and it was a blast skating at Skate Champions! It was $8 admission and $3 for rentals. After paying, he buzzed door open and we walked to far right to the rentals area. There was a couple also standing there waiting to get their rentals and we stood for another 5-10 minutes before someone came by and helped us. It seems that the staff member was out on the rink facilitating a game. Wonder why they don't hire more help when it's that busy on the weekends? After we got our skates, we put them on and starting out to the rink. They had a DJ in the corner of the rink and he did a good job playing variety of music. They also cleared the rink every so often for fast skating and games. For same price ad a movie ticket, roller skating may be a better, healthier option for quality family fun. We will definitely be back!

Very nice family friendly skate rink. New skates, and remodel of facility. Great improvements.

The fees are ridiculous, and this super trooper is a joke. Telling a grown man he can't wear a hat in a skating rink is crazy.

The rink isn't how it used to be. If y'all are changing rules, especially about people bringing their own skates, put it on the website.

We attended a birthday party here. The kids had a lot of fun. It was the first time skating and we…read moredid rent one of the pvc pipe skate helper/walker things. It gave the kids a lot more confidence in their skating abilities (despite still falling a lot, everything they let go and tried on their own.) Despite falling a lot, they kept trying because there were so many other kids there trying and falling too. They had a beginner skating rink at the end. There were a lot of big kids back there working on tricks or just goofing off, but the younger kids still had plenty of space to practice in the smaller rink instead of being in the main rink. They did glow lights for a little bit, maybe 30 mins, and the kids liked that a lot. We were there for maybe 2 hours, with a mini pizza break. There were not many workers there, so adults or skaters had to police their own chaos on the rinks. The workers alternated between the skate rental booth, the concessions, and the walker rental/prizes area. As the afternoon wore on and it became more crowded, it did get a lot more chaotic and somewhat dangerous for the younger skaters, which is why I have the lower rating. For what it was, it is still worth the visit id you have never been. If you have younger kids, I would suggest coming in earlier. As the afternoon wore on I to the evening, it was a lot more crowded overall and a lot busier with teens and adults. The concessions were fine. Having a birthday party here was also just ok - there was no dedicated party host despite the host asking for one for their party and the kids kind of scattered everywhere. It did give everyone a chance w to hang out and play together or apart. Whichever they wished. There was an all call to come back to the tables for food and cake, so that was nice. It was a good way to get a bunch of kids to try something new, though, so that was a lot of fun. I felt bad, as a parent, needing to rent a walker for my kids and then it going to the tab of the parents. There was not a way to pay for it on my end, unless the worker was misinformed. We would be back to try it some more.

I attended my niece's birthday party at your facility as a guest, and I feel compelled to express…read morehow disappointing the experience was. The individual assigned as our party host appeared to be extremely young--so young that it was genuinely concerning. Their behavior was rude, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. Whether this was due to understaffing or lack of proper training, it reflected very poorly on the facility as a whole. My sister spent several hundred dollars for her daughter's birthday celebration, expecting a well-organized and positive experience. Instead, our party was overseen by someone who did not seem mature or qualified enough to be responsible for hosting children's events, let alone interacting with paying customers. Having what appeared to be a literal child working as the party host is not only unprofessional, but it significantly took away from what should have been a special and enjoyable day. This is not the level of service that should accompany the prices you charge. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as better staffing, training, and professionalism are clearly needed.
