What a great shop! We dropped off our VW convertible to replace the top. There was mold and something growing under the seats from all the leaks. They replaced the top and detailed it too. The soft grey fabric headliner in my 1995 Mercedes S.L. 500 was hanging almost in my face. Upon the recommendation of my Mercedes tech. I drove from my home in Napa to nearby Silverado Upholstery. I was welcomed by Andy Chambers, owner, who clarified my expectations, assessed the derelict headliner, showed me samples of grey headliner fabric and quoted me a very competitive fixed price. A couple days later, I met with Kayla, his daughter who had ordered the replacement cloth, she and Andrew had color matched to the interior turning the portable hardtop over their care for a new headliner. Their resourcefulness, their initiative and their recommendations consistent with their analysis as willing contributors to my needs were followed by Andrew's prep. and installation of the new headliner that is, attractive looking like original when it was new; maybe better. In a phrase, I received results I could trust with Andrew's complimentary statement: "I offer a lifetime guarantee on this installation." I am commending Andrew and Kayla for being trusted advisers and installers with a sense of humor on top of that. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! This is absolutely the worst shop I've ever dealt with! My car came out worst than when it went in. Brought it in for a new headliner and got it back with a broken digital information center, a broken handhold above the passenger's seat, and the retaining clips for the visor installed backward. On top of that, they don't even have the decency to return my calls to fix the problem! Update on 1/5/12 - Issues resolved with intervention of Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

these guys are great they worked with my insurance and were vary patient trying to get things covered and once they got the approval they jumped right in and got to work, i went to them cause someone ripped my 2001 VW Cabrio/golf soft top, they got the work done in no time and stored my car when it was raining so that my interior didn't get wet. and when it was all said and done even gave me a bit of a break on my overall bill, i will deferentially use them again if i find myself in need of upholstery of any kind again!! thanks again guys!! read more
