DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! They will get you in with a promise of all this help and then assign you a planner who doesn't answer for weeks!!!! Then you'll complain and they'll pretend to care again, get you a new planner who also doesn't respond for weeks!!!!! Then when you complain, they tell you to be professional. The staff here SUCKS. Only book if you're fluent in planning weddings or plan to use an outside planner. The venue is beautiful but WORST SERVICE EVER!!! And at about $30K!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. We never felt welcomed, and I will never forget walking in less than a week before my wedding (because my wedding planner changed a week before) and being scanned up and down by my old wedding planner and the management as I said hi and smiled to them, and didn't get a single response or smile in return as a walked by with my new wedding planner who was provided by Ashton Gardens. It is now November, and they still struggle with communication of whether a clothes steamer was left there. It's been over a month since I have reached out, I have reached out three times to a personal number and no response. Just about sums up the communication with said wedding planner for 14 months. The day of was a disaster and yelp would not let me type everything out because it was 'too negative'... when it was the order of events and how many things went wrong. Don't recommend. The venue itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, and you can immediately tell this is a family-run venue that takes incredible pride in their property, buildings, and service. From the very beginning, the entire team was friendly, accommodating, and so easy to work with. One of the things we loved most was that they have two separate houses on the property -- one for the bride and one for the groom -- and both were spacious and comfortable, which was something we struggled to find at other venues. The venue package itself included so much: tables, linens, water goblets, plates, silverware, and chargers, along with the option for either an indoor or outdoor reception space. They do require the use of their in-house caterer, bartender, and security team, but honestly, that ended up being one of the biggest positives. The menu selection was great, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our guests could not stop talking about how good the drinks were all night long. Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made planning so much easier and less stressful. They even allowed us to bring everything over the day before the wedding, which made a huge difference because we were able to focus on getting ready and actually enjoying our day. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, so we ultimately had to move our reception indoors. The team was so patient while we watched the weather and decided what to do. We made the final decision only about an hour before the ceremony, and they moved incredibly fast to completely transform the indoor space so our coordinators could come in and finish decorating. They handled everything calmly and professionally during what could have been a very stressful situation. What stood out most to us throughout the entire day was how accommodating and attentive the team was. No matter what was happening, they made us feel supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for. They were always nearby if we needed something, consistently checking in, and doing everything they could to make sure the day went smoothly so we could truly enjoy every moment. The team at Oak Tree Manor truly made us feel cared for every step of the way. That said, we do feel it's important to mention that the DJ company we hired from their all inclusive package (EC Entertainment) completely ruined every key moments of our day, including all the ceremony music, cocktail hour, grand entrance, and our first dance. Our assigned DJ was completely unprofessional. He had ample amount of time to fix the issue, call for help, or at least communicate the issue to someone after the ceremony and did not. Instead he went on with our grand entrance and first dance knowing the sound was completely screwed up. During our first dance he was crashing out, hands on head, pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do. If we could go back we would have been way more intentional in choosing a DJ. Music is such an important part of a wedding, we trusted EC Entertainment and they completely let us down. So many moments of our wedding that were supposed to be special were stolen from us. We will never get those back. No amount of apologies will fix it. Important to mention that our DJ also did not reach out to us for the first time until three days before our wedding. We would absolutely NOT recommend EC Entertainment to future couples, however we do wholeheartedly recommend Addison Woods as a venue. They handled the situation with grace, understanding and compassion. They did everything they could to make it right. They couldn't have known it was going to happen.
