So, I am not one to usually write reviews, but I think I have to on this one. I am very disappointed with this company and their customer service. I did not qualify for the loan I was trying for and that is not their fault by any means. That is not what I am complaining about, but I am complaining about their lack of response. It is very unprofessional to tell someone that you shouldn't call anyone else to apply for mortgages because their opinion is that they would be able to qualify if it was possible. I was trying to reach them because I was looking into different scenarios that might help me qualify and I cannot even get a call back or a simple response in my email saying they are working on it. I have not gotten one response. When I have talked to them, they were pleasant and really said things in simple terms to help me understand them, but I am giving them only one star because of how much they have not returned calls and it seems like they are very unorganized. I am in sales and customer services and you do not treat people like this and expect them to like you. Even if you cannot help them at that time, treat them right and maybe they will refer people over and also use them when their situation is perfect for the loan. Now, I don't think I will ever accept a call or an email. Sad for them because I was just at another lender yesterday and I am 6 points away from qualifying with them and I found a great co-borrower like GEM Mortgage told me I needed. I would not recommend these guys to people like me who are trying to work really hard to buy a home and who are looking for guidance on how to do so. They advertise and they help you and I didn't get that experience. read more
