They offer cheaper tickets on Tuesdays, which was great. The drinks and food tasted good but they weren't cheap. We really liked the chicken Philly sandwich though. The reclining chairs are amazing as well. Parking can be a little confusing in this spot downtown so give yourself a few minutes to figure it out. read more

It was my first time at the Silverspot cinema in downtown Miami and I was not disappointed. I am not the type to watch movies in theaters and after coming to the Silverspot cinema, I have found a love to come back to the movies. This theater is fancy and the seats are so comfortable. I came to watch Batman and the movie was three hours long but not once did I feel uncomfortable. You have the option of ordering food or drinks from the app while watching the movie just make sure to order within the 30 mins of when the movie starts. Also make sure to park at the Whole Foods parking garage and validate your parking on the first floor at the theaters to get it at the 8 dollar parking price. FYI the 8 dollars are for up to 4 hours. Absolutely horrible, will never ever go back. We paid $80 for food we didn't receive. After about 30 minutes, I followed up and nothing. After an hour I went down and they refused to help, I called the manager who also said she couldn't help. Missed at least 40 minutes of the movie (The Batman) trying to resolve this crap. Then contacted the phone line to get a refund on the food, with the copy of my receipt in hand and still nothing. Not even a credit. Absolutely disgraceful, disgusting service all round. We went through 7 different staff (on site and customer service) and the attitude was horrible. Couldn't believe it, was actually laughing in disbelief by the end. In any case, if you want horrible service, late or no food, definitely go here - otherwise try CMX which is right next door inside Brickell City Center. I will never ever go back. read more

Me and my wife, we are doing a diet without sugar. It's pretty hard to follow, their menu doesn't have options. So we took a couple of shakes and bars, sugar free. Upon entry, they asked to see my wife's bag. And they'd found those stuff. And didn't let us in. So she asked if she could leave them those items and pick them up after the movie. They said that wasn't possible. And one very rude employee, told her to go back to her car and leave it there. We were with two kids and outside it was pouring!!! Go to CMX instead. Sad to say we used to enjoy eating at SilverSpot. Apparently the Venezuelan owners decided to change the menu to smaller portions under the guise of fresh food cooked daily at a ridiculous prices. Date night made my wife sad. We paid $18 for skirt steak sliders that amounted to three 1 inch square cuts of meat between two buns. Nothing more. We spent 75$ in food and couldn't have been more disappointed. App didn't work. Staff hangs out in clicks. We live in this neighborhood and want the businesses to thrive. We go to spend our hard earned cash but will not support businesses that don't even try to deliver a solid experience. Projection and sound was great hence the second star. Ownership needs to realize customers decide if the menu is great. Going back to CMX next time. read more

This is by far my favorite theater in Miami! The seats are extremely comfortable - reclinable, lots of leg room, and a good amount of cushion to them. You feel as if you're on your couch at home watching a movie. You can order your food directly from your seat or from the counter outside. If you decide to order from your seat, a waiter will approach you and ask for your order. My bf and I always order the beef sliders with sweet potato fries and nachos to share (it's a LARGE amount). I recommend arriving about 10 minutes before the movie starts if you are going to order food - just so you can eat it at the beginning of the movie and not have to wait for your food to arrive after the movie has begun. As far as parking, there is a parking garage across the street. Make sure to validate your parking ticket in the theater or you could end up paying close to $30 just for parking! The theater is clean and modern. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. I recommend this theater! read more

This theater is certainly luxurious and trendy, but gone are the days of casual movie dates. My boyfriend and I wanted to see a movie and it was basically $20 a ticket. We chose earlier in the day for about $15, but still that's no bargain. The escalators weren't even working to get us up to the 5th floor. Sure, the seats recline, but that seems like a commodity now. This isn't ipic. Last time we went, we ordered food and it was pretty awful. My drink was wrong, and I was looked at as if I were lying. I'd say just wait until the movie is released to DVD unless you're cool absolutely splurging on a subpar experience. read more

Amazing movie theater in the heart of downtown Miami. Parking is right there and only costs $8 with validation. The place is immaculate and has everything you want. Show up early and head the the bar for amazing drinks, Felipe the bartender is as good as any mixologist in the city, so good. Reading the reviews, we were hesitant visiting but decided to give it a shot and very happy that we did. The prices were reasonable and plenty of seating to choose from. The parking was easy to locate right across the street next to Whole foods. We purchased the tickets online so it was quick and easy when we entered. The seats were so comfy. The food was very yummy, drinks came out 5 mins after we ordered followed by the food in the first 20mins of the movie. We had a great time. Make sure to validate your parking after the movies. Movie theater with free or discount tickets is great!! Otherwise ridiculously expensive. Also, I hardly ever write reviews but when I came to use the bathroom, general manager NATHAN was very rude and disrespectful. I was shocked to learn that he was the manager on duty. I was over an hour early, just went up to use the restroom and was scolded for having water with me. The movie wasn't even close to starting . I was treated like a criminal and he literally FOLLOWED me down the hall into the same elevator. Get a grip and hire appropriate staff please!! This one has got to go. read more

The theatre is clean and relatively elegant. The bar is nice there is a good amount of tables and space to relax with your drink prior to your movie. I ordered a drink prior to the movie and walked in to the movie with my drink. I suggest you arrive inside your movie prior to the movie started where a server will greet you and provide you a menu to order food. I think the gentleman name that assisted me was Yanzel (I will update the name when I take a look at the receipt) he was courteous and allowed us to customize our entrees. The food was great the seats were nice and comfortable. Not as comfortable as the CMX cinema a few blocks down at the brickell city centre BUT also no where near as expensive as CMX, which makes Silver spot a great value. MY SUGGESTION Is for you to buy your tickets online, show up 30-45 mins early so you can enjoy a drink at the bar and walk into the theatre a few minutes early to order your food inside. Please note that the food did take a little long, I timed it and it took around 45 mins to get the food which seemed a bit much. My date also asked for something on the side and it never came, which did suck a bit, since at that point we were pretty much stuck since there were no servers to ask and I wasn't going to leave and miss the movie to look for one. Regardless I highly recommend this location it was empty when I went and on Tuesdays the tickets are priced at 10 bucks which is great. I also say they have a happy hour from 5 to 6 I think, which I will try during my next visits Some on the rock drinks were a bit overpriced but everything else was about average prices. Best new movie theater in miami! The seats are comfy and the food is tasty. There are enough food stands and bars for the plentiful theaters they have. You have the option of ordering at the food stand or ordering through the app. From experience don't order too close to when the movie will start, they tend to take longer to deliver. My favorite from the menu is the flatbreads but the have bigger entrees and smaller bites. Inside the theaters, the chairs recline and give you ample space to relax and feel right at home. You get to choose your seats when ordering tickets so you don't have to worry about not finding seats or waiting in line to get good ones. Horrible experience on last Friday, June 25, 2021. We bought two tickets to see F9 in theatre 4 @7:30pm. The movie abruptly cut off during the screening. It was out about 15 minutes with no movie, a manager did not come to the theatre to apologize or address the issue. Once the movie returned on the screen, it was further along in the movie. I emailed the theatre to express my frustration, left my phone number and email address and no one has contacted me. We spend over $100 on a movie and food. If you're looking for a cozy movie night with great food, consider another theatre in the area. They (the staff and managers) lack professionalism and an eye for detail. read more

I had my daughter's graduation party here we had theater 8 on the 4th floor, from the booking process with Jennifer to the setting up with Luis everything was smooth and stress free. The food was delicious and the staff was very professional and helpful every step of the way. I felt like all hands were on deck to help us set up and pick up. Our experience at Silverspot cinema was incredible and made our special moment even more special and memorable having our own theater & being able to decorate it to our liking was great! The guest loved the fact that we had our own space and where able to watch the movie in the same space. We haven't been to another Cinema in years. The staff is extremely nice from people at the ticket booth, to the movie workers and the people who bring you your food. I am always impressed with the quality of the food since it is a movie theater but its incredible and comes out very fast. I recommend the pasta with added chicken and the nachos and burgers are also a must. The chairs recline and are so comfortable and one of the main reasons we come here. The drinks are very good and my favorite movie theater for an incredible price. It just sucks that parking is across the street but minor inconvenience compared to how good this spot is. read more

This theatre is gorgeous and this is def a great place for date night. ! Came here on a impromptu day date with my fiancé but had I known they offered a full dine in experience I wouldn't have eaten before. Everything is very clean, they have a bar area where you can lounge and hang out before or after the movie. The bathroom has so much character with red doors and a kinda trippy black wallpaper. (Bit of a long review, but I promise it's worth it!) I had heard nice things about this cineplex in comparison to CMX which is a few blocks away. The first disappointing thing about Silverspot was that they did not honor either of the promotions that are posted on their website (see screenshot). I was told that they had suspended $10 Tuesdays, and then when I wanted to use my student discount, was told that they would have to ask a manager, and after waiting, was told they were no longer offering the student discount. This was all kind of amazing to me because it was 8pm on a Tuesday, and we were part of a literal handful of guests in an otherwise empty theater complex. As we searched for the actual theater, hidden around several corners, there wasn't a smile in sight from any staff member, except for a bartender and a server who were cracking jokes to each other in the otherwise empty bar room. Nobody offered to help us find our way to the theater, or our seats. There was another family in our seats when we arrived (what are the odds when there's only two other groups in the theater?) and what ensued afterwards can only be described as chaos, before we decided to just take new seats elsewhere. Compared to CMX, both cineplexes are beautiful and clean, however as someone else mentioned, the seats are very close together at the Silverspot theaters so there is much less privacy. The food here is just okay, it's not outrageously priced. I paid extra for the larger-sized cocktail and couldn't taste or feel any alcohol, so I imagine they're cutting costs on the beverages. It didn't taste great either, so I'd skip cocktails and order either water, wine or beer. Both food AND drinks are higher quality at CMX however, and at Silverspot I was unable to find any button to call for service once you are seated. I mean the movie was fine, but why go through all the extra rigmorole, when we can rent in 4K from home and order better quality take-out for less than half the price? I suspect that's why this cineplex looked like a ghost town... or at least a little bit like the empty theater in 'Bladerunner 2049'. read more

Cost of Said Pop Corn and Water=$19.38! $34.31 for a solo local to walk into a matinee before noon and see a movie. In the dead heat of June. I wonder why I was literally the ONLY person in the theater. This is disgraceful. I hope management reads this and understands how ridiculous this pricing scenario actually is.
