    Unlimited popcorn
    Stephanie C.

Service was great, waitress came to the seat. Food was not great, pizza tasted like that frozen cook at home taste and popcorn although nice and buttery, was cold. Seats were comfortable, surround sound could have been better. But it's nice to be able to select your chair and not have to worry about good seating.

Pros: Cool experience to have dinner while you watch a movie. The recliners were pretty comfortable and having the tray table came in handy too. They have a bottomless popcorn which was plenty for two people. Staff was attentive. Cons: Food was decent but not worth the price tag The theater was a bit dirty. The restrooms could use a deep clean; most of the stalls were questionable and the smell of urine was intense. Even when you walked by on the hallway. There's definitely room for improvement.

It's been a very long time since I've been to the movies in Coconut Grove. But it was the only showing early enough to fit a quick movie in before family activities. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was and how comfy the seating was also. They all reclined and even had the swing table to hold your food if needed. Service was only a button away at all times. Luckily I had the theater to myself the whole time which was great. And although I didn't order food I did see some truffle parmesan popcorn that looked enticing as well as other non traditional movie food items. Their menu was interesting to say the least. Overall I was a very enjoyable movie experience which I would gladly do again.

I have to say; this is no ordinary theater. There was a greeter upon our entrance to the theater for the premier, and popcorn was pre set at each comfy leather seat. The bar and bartenders are also great, they have tasty food and amazing ambience; what a fun experience!

Comfortable lazy boy seating make this cinema the perfect place to watch a movie. Add in the great service and good selection of theatre favorites to eat, you got yourself a great choice. They offer full meals and a bar to make your movie experience even better than other theaters.

Came here on a Tuesday for date night. 50% off movie tickets on Tuesday, which was a nice surprise. Had a drink before the movie and it tasted great. The bartender was super nice. When we got to our seats, there was a waitress who was very friendly. We ordered popcorn, and dessert which was like sweets overload, but it was still good. Definitely would come back here.

I came in to see F1 at 12:45. I bought my tickets after the movie started so when I went to the theater, it never started. I went out the manager meet me at the door and she took me to another movie. Superman, it was OK, i'll be back to see F1 on Friday

Amazing. I loved everything. The truffle hamburger was super yummy. Definitely I'll be back.

WOW this has changed my perspective of movie theaters for life. This place has it all, comfort, seclusion, delicious snacks/food, and great service! The chairs are so big and cozy, not only that but you have ur own little table and lamp! and some seats are even separated from the full row so its like you have a little room to yourself. The popcorn is HUGEEE!!! and so flavorful. We also tried the wings and chicken tenders. The tenders are a classic, 10/10. The wings were not the best but overall this place was so amazing. It is quite pricey I will say! but honestly its worth it for how great this place is. How it works is you get in, and on the side of the chair theres a button that you press any time you need service. I HIGHLYY recommend this theater to anyone who is looking for a nice theater with great service and amazing chairs.

Nice comfy seats and theater. Seats and tray tables were barely cleaned in between movies. Crumbs and oil stands present. Food was ok overpriced definitely. Tried pizza,2 drinks, and popcorn came to $38 pre tax. They offer 50% off tickets every Tuesday all day. If you order anything just get popcorn and a drink. *validated parking at the bar 3hours free*

Each dish was very good, the steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fries were crispy and good, and the flan was probably the best I've ever had. I enjoyed a very good glass of Malbec reserve with my meal. La Cabrera also offers a $39 lunch special. Ambiance was charming and the service was also very good. Far superior choice, food wise, to Chop.

I've been going to Koko since it opened, and until now I've always had great experiences…read more Unfortunately, my recent visit during the Mexico World Cup match was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

We had a seat at the bar where our small dog was also welcome, and each started with a cocktail, then ordered the parrilla special to share. Everything was very good and we managed to somehow finish it all aside from 1 piece of steak, so not bad. We were offered a digestif of limoncello or dulce de leche. We chose the limoncello and it was the perfect end to our meal. It should be noted that, on the night we came they had a different wine (a pinot noir from Spain) rather than the one usually offered with this special. The server allowed us to sample the wine that usually comes with the parrilla and I'm glad they had the other bottle available on the night we were here as we much preferred it. Overall the Parrilla Tuesday special is a great value IMO and since their meats are grilled in a charcoal fired Josper Oven, they were very flavorful and perfectly cooked.
