I tried to illustrate the way the chairs recline. Most theaters will bring up the leg rest and keep it straight. CMX brings up the leg rest in a tilted position, so you end up with your knees bent a little. I don't go to CMX often, but this time I decided to give it a try. The theater itself is great. there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. All the seats are positioned well for a good view, which makes picking seats stress-free. I went with two other people, and one downside was how hard it was to find three seats together. The layout seems more geared toward couples. In the end, two of us sat together while the third had to sit across the aisle in the next pair of seats. Overall, it was a good experience. The biggest downside was the condition of the seats they looked a little worn, and some of the color was fading. On the plus side, I liked that you can order overpriced food and have it delivered before the movie starts, so you can enjoy a meal while watching. read more

The chairs are the perfect cushiony feel (also reclines!) and you can enjoy with your date a nice meal and/or drinks with your movie. They'll come to you to take your orders and bring the items to you, so you never have to get up. Plus there's a divider between the seats so you don't see your neighbor and a small light for you to see your meal. I love this place. read more

This is a great place for a movie theatre if you happen to be shopping nearby and you randomly decide that you want to catch a movie. However, don't go here strictly to see a movie. The area is very crowded and there is no easy parking, which will stress you out and cost you a lot of money. I actually didn't enjoy the theatre itself very much either. The sound in the theatre didn't sound amplified enough to me, which made it hard to enjoy the movie. Other than that, it was a comfortable theatre but nothing super special. And unfortunately, the bathrooms weren't as clean as I desired and there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls! The sliders were stiff and they forgot our truffle fries and they were out of ketchup, milkshakes and blue raspberry icee and only had cherry or lemon. The family next to us split into 3 Sections with 4 children so their young children ran all around the entire time even during Kung Fu Panda 4 so they didn't care about a cartoon. Then the dad took one to the toilet and when he returned sat with his wife in row a right and left his 4 kids running around me on my left between row a and b... they loved playing with the lights and running all around. Parents should be respectful and keep their children in chairs as it isn't a playground and a high end movie but I think they like that because small and secure so they could have a date night and their kids could run around. I will return because the chairs are SOOOOO COMFY! I wish they had better food options and MORE OPTIONS! The server was nice and the property is super clean. If they had better food options they could be a 5! Who wants to cut a steak at a theater or eat fish? And a bowl of pasta would be so messy. We went to see HAMNET it cost $50 both tickets in a bistro theater, the QR code machines were not working and the lady at the counter had a hard time to find it. Chairs were all worn out. I became a passport member a few years ago and back then this cinema was the best one in south Dade but it's gone downhill very fast in the last year. The seats are peeling, sometimes the electric recliner isn't working properly, the restrooms could not be dirtier even if they tried. Their app where you have access to your account to be able to reserve your seats using your accumulated tickets makes it extremely hard to use unless you're willing to pay for tickets instead of using your balance. I have no idea why this once awesome place has deteriorated so bad. read more

Worse experience. Air conditioned not working they had loud fans at the door of the theater. I had to get up 3 times to close doors so all the loud sounds from outside of the theater would be blocked. I was walking around the Brickell City Center and found this theater on the top floor. We weren't originally planning to watch a movie but ended up seeing Black Panther. We first came inside because they had a large screen showing the football games. After a quick meal we decided to catch a late-night movie before going home. I was surprised to hear you could order food and drink during the movie. The theater was very spacious. I loved the reclining chairs. It was nice to lie back and relax after walking around all day. The waiter came around during the film to take food and drink orders. It was very relaxing and fun to watch the upgraded movie experience. Although we opted not to get any snacks since we had dinner pre-movie, appreciate that there is a little light on each reclining seat to w help you see your nom noms without disturbing people around you. Love that the middle armrest lifts so you can cozy up if you'd like. Prices are reasonable and on par with other dine-in theaters. Absolutely has a wonderful time. The place was lovely and lovely. Pretty big bar and a lot of seating and TV screens so even if you're not watching a movie but want a drink or some bites then stop by. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I didn't eat there this time but the servers were kind always checking on me and attending to the others quickly and nicely. I love the seating. The seats recline and are very comfortable. They also have a great distance between the other love seats and great side blockers with the cushion so you can't see the people next to you which is lovely. Wonderful full service bar, good menu, good service - We visited CMX Brickell to see Black Adam. We started with a few drinks at their Sports Bar out in the front of the theater. Then, taking our drinks with us, we moved into our assigned theater and placed an order for food. We both ordered the Burger with Fries - YUM! About halfway through our movie, the fire alarm went off twice - both times we were asked to stay in our seats and to not exit the building. This isn't your orfanato movie, this is high end bar, mixed with restaurant serve decent food, state of the art comfort in reclining chair and last but not least all the best and latest releases.. Great experience! If your trying to kill two birds with one stone this is it! Dinner, a movie and drinks amazing concept. There is no designated parking for the theater. You will have to park in the garage. If you find street parking good luck and make sure you get their early. You will probably have some walking to do. I highly recommend just park in the garage. The theater is in a huge outside mall at the top floor. You can buy tickets online with reserve seating or pay while your there. I paid online and checked in when I got there. They will print your tickets and tell you where to go. If you never been before they will explain how everything works. There is a bar and seating area in the front. So you don't have to eat at your seat unless you want. There is two floors there for theaters. When you get to your seat there is a paper menu on there. A lot of items I saw on the online menu they didn't have. Some was due to just opening back from covid and others just just discontinued. So don't bother checking the online menu because you will be disappointed when you arrive. Which I was due to picking this location based on the food options. The button on the chairs wasn't working at the time I went. Therefore, the waiters was taking the orders before the show started. I was told if I wanted something I had to let a waiter know throughout the show. Which was not the case. Later when I asked waiter for a drink order was told after 40 mins in the show you have to go get it yourself. He did take my order anyway and brought it back. The wine was warm. I'm not sure if all the wine is served warm or what. I didn't get to exchange or ask for ice or a new one. Due to it taking forever for a waiter to return. By the time they did return I had already just finished it. The food and my other drink that was actually cold was amazing. The popcorn came in a bowl and the bowl is actually deeper than it looked. Although the popcorn wasn't hot it was good surprisingly. I will return again and this is now officially my new date night list of options. I would have given five stars if my wine wasn't hot, the server button on the seats was working and they actually had the food options that was offered at online menu. read more

This place is a joke. It's shameful for this place to be all about " VIP experience " when it's hot in there. Coming from the extreme heat outside you expect to be in a cool setting mainly at the movies! the servers/runners don't know their seats, they forgot my friend's coke so I had to get out from the movie to go get it myself from the bar. Bartender was actually helpful right away. I ordered the chicken blt, the chicken had no flavor and the buns were COLD not even toasted and salty fries. The bread got stuck all on my teeth. The bathroom had no toilet paper and the soap from the dispenser out. My drink was okay but my friend's drink was an old fashion which I tasted to see what he was talking about and it tasted like pure bitters. It was definitely hard to drink. Poor management and no training apparently and the food was so disappointing. If this place was a regular movie theater you can get away with it but for this to be vip experience and pricey it's definitely a scam. Just really disappointed and I was really looking forward to try this beautiful location in brickell but I will be taking myself anywhere else and will alert friends to not waste their money here. The reclining seating and smaller theaters are the best. This last movie we watch was in one of the smaller theaters and the seated was setup in sets of two seats. I traveled far in my car to go see a movie on a busy day, and I knew I was going to have challenges but never like this. Coming in on a weekend day earlier, enough to wear? It didn't take me any more than 8 minutes to find a parking space. That I will later talk about me getting lost. I walked to the movie theater. On this unusually humid day before the crowd rushed, I walked up 2 flights of stairs because the escalator didn't work just to get to the elevator to get to the top of the theater. (#1) I was greeted by 2 people at the ticket counter and the one that spoke to me with the most rudest monotone flat leveled npn- cistomer sevice, I don't wat yo be here voice, that gave me no Eye contact Asked me, "which movie do you wanna see?" After I asked her if they had a veteran's discount, she told me. That is the veteran's discount. I looked over at the register to the right. And I was charged the same amount. Wasn't offered a menue. I later got my own from behind the empty bar before entering the theater. I came back at the time the show started, walked into the theater, and thought I would be able to eat and have a drink before any of the previews started. (#2) I waited 35 minutes after I pushed all 3 red service buttons attached to my seat and the ones on both sides to get service before I had to walk out and ask for service. I stood and looked at 2 waitresses opening and closing the cash register and taking orders. Which seemed like forever before they turned around and noticed to me. I was told, "There's no fee if you order from inside the theater, and the red service buttons haven't worked for a while,sir. (#3) I went back to my seat and waited 10 more minutes, watched two people that I could hear complaining about the service lights no working, walk out of the theater in frustration. I supposed they went to the bar as well. The previews came on, and then the waitress came in with a worst example enthusiasm as the ticket taker. I got my food and cocktail in a reasonable time and it was not bad but not memorable. Great movie (The Flash) worst group service...ever! I forgot where I parked my car and spent 45 min learning a lesson which added $10 to parking after validation. That night cost me $85 from park to drive off. read more
